I could cry. This is not going to wash very well in the UK. Akon isn't that big over here, the song is bland... massive mistake.

Why would they release the version that has Akon singing more?
That doesn't really make sense since this is supposed to be Michael's first single not Akon's.
Not only that but Akon is not as popular as he was a couple of years a go when they made that song. He was everywhere back then.
I'm not sure that collaboration will get a big response.
But maybe Sony indeed knows what it's doing. Who knows maybe it will catch on and become a hit. Stranger things have happened I guess.

I really like the akon song and it is radio friendly i do realise every ones concerns though.
Maybe they have some footage of him and akon in the studio, maybe thats why they picked it, coz they could use footage for a video??

We will see but to me it doesn't sound right. If it's the version that was leaked, that's more an Akon song feat. MJ than the other way around. This sucks.

Deal with it people! Sony are planning the biggest album in a LONG time and Hold My Hand is just the first step into it! There WILL be MORE singles to follow! And you will have ALL the tracks in your hands in mid-December ANYWAYS!
Be happy we are getting all this stuff! MICHAEL, VISION, The Experience, Breaking News (free of charge), One More Chance MUSIC VIDEO!

I don't want to dwell on the subject but in the UK they are BIG competition (I don't think there is a band/artist more popular atm over here). What will go in MJ's favour (for Christmas Number 1) is that Michael's album will be released a month after Take That's... so its very likely he'll get No.1 which will be fantastic!
