I think the cover is pretty easy to understand! It's just MJs life/Career in a collage! U see Off the wall era, Thriller era, Bad era, Dangerous era, & History era!

No doubt it will continue as a fold out or in back of the album with Invincible and more of the other era's I just mentioned?! The reason they have Thriller era MJ as the crowed king is because the Thriller era is when he became that, with how big the album became and there on after! So I don't get the big fuss over it! And can't believe people turned it into a racist thing on other forums!

Please don't take this a personal attack. I don't mean to offend anyone. But, I don't understand your logic.

Great art is timeless. It transcends time. It breaks boundaries. It reaches to all ages. Why the need to associate any one of Michael's song to a particular "era"? I mean, when I listen to Billie Jean, I don't associate to "80's Michael". To me, Billie Jean is eternal. It can be from any era. Likewise, when I listen to Earth Song, I don't associate the song to "HIStory Era Michael", again the song is timeless. Isn't achieving immortality through his arts what Michael strived to achieve? And, he achieved his goal handsomely.

The more I think about it, the more I feel it's totally not necessary to use a recent photo for the album cover. There is no need to remind people that the songs in the album are recorded after the millennium. It is because if the songs in the album are truly great. The songs are timeless.

The Estate out-smarts us. This album cover is just clever. It's a work of art. You see something new, something different each time you look at it. It's much more creative than using a photo. It manages to contain so many of Michael's iconic moments in such a small space. It's detail oriented.

I'm very glad that the Estate focuses on the big picture. The Estate aims to reinforce Michael's legacy. You see the Estate not only wants to please fans, but also works to introduce Michael's legacy to the younger generation, which is much more important. Get the young people to know Michael's music is how Michael's legacy stays till the end of time.

The new album made it's way to the Amazon's best sellers list :) Hopefully we'll see it in number 1 soon :)

Exactly! It is Vision we are talking about. This album cover will outlast all the trendy, flashy creations by 2010 photoshopping technology.

guys...ok have to admit...wasn't all that happy with the cover. didn't look at for a while
just look again... and i think its gorgeous
seriously growing on me
and the crowning thing is absolutely beautiful
same with the title but i love how thers no need to mention 'jackson' .michael is enough

Yea, I agree. It seems that way. Atleast I hope so. It wouldn't make sense to just have like a portion of the Dangerous logo at the right edge. It seems cut off...

Well, yea that's what I meant! But, just explained it differently! :D And pointed out why I think Thriller era MJ is the highlight, the one that's crowned!

YES! It's coming out near my birthday, couldn't ask for a better present. I personally love the album artwork, I think it's so appropriate. I understand that some fans wanted it to look as if it's a whole "new" album, like an album that doesn't summarize his whole career, but face it: This is Michael's first posthumous album, it'd be so appropriate to display his accomplishments, his HIStory, on the first album's cover. This is a big deal. There were some fans that wanted "Still the King" as the title and that is still included with the crowning aspect.

I can't wait!

I do not like this album cover. I guess they put many old tracks in that album again like they did it before with This is It . Looking at this album cover, something tells me that It is probably going to be an album with only a couple new songs.

Theres definitely more to the album cover. What we're seeing is clearly the middle. Im sure on the left side it will go back to the Jacksons if not jackson 5 Era and on the right side we'll see the History statue and some invincible era stuff.

So can people please quit their bitchin! :D

We waited 9 years for this you guys.. It's not exactly the way we expected it.. But its come together now, the music MJ has been working on will finally be given to us in a form..

I'm glad to be a part of it.. lets have fun with some NEW MJ music and help this album sore..

I want to do some major fan advertizing you guys... advertize it on facebook, myspace, youtube..

I've been waiting so long for this. Theres been such a sadness in music ever since Mj died but also a great celebration around the world for his achievments. I can remember me and other fans just celebrating Mjs life outside of ucla.



Now new music is coming and I'm so happy about that. I cant wait to play that album so loud in my car. I'm looking forward to hear the completed version of "another day." Two other tracks I hope will make it is hopefully a mostly Mj version of "No friend of Mine" and a full version, with (with Mj's vocals"), of a song called "Stop Playing" featuring T-pain and Usher.

I've been waiting so long for this. Theres been such a sadness in music ever since Mj died but also a great celebration around the world for his achievments.
