At least it wasn't "The Time (Dirty Bit)" by The Black-Eyed Peas... They destroyed a (unfortunately because of my sister's love for the film Dirty Dancing) huge part of my childhood!

Why the hell did they sample the chorus (poorly)!? It makes no sense for the rest of the song!! I get what the BEP are trying to do in general with their whole ethic, but some of the creative choices they're making is just... Dumbfounding. What's even more dumbfounding is the fact that they have their own game, sharing the same brand name as MJTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! >_

I like the song Pump It... But being that I was musically ignorant before 2009, that's the only song I like that I know is theirs.

It might be blasphemous to say this, but I think that they could do a good techno-remix of Behind the Mask... Just the original '78 YMO song, not with Michael lyrics.

Lol a double post is when the same User posts twice in a row. Doesn't have to be the same exact post, its just 2 in a row. U do it CONSTANTLY. I was going to say something like a month ago but didn't bother. No need for a screenshot just go back to literally any of the last hundred or so pages. No biggie.

Well me I am not always on my computer or phone so when I go on I resume from where I left off and I respond to the people that have mentioned me or what ever and not everyone is always online so it will show as if it's a double post sometimes triple or more but it's that I'm resuming from where I left off.

Yeah, it's like it's fashonable now a days to see how melodic-less people can make thier music. Alot of people don't like Lady Ga Ga but i give her credit for aleast trying to put some melody in her music

ok, i'm going to drop this b/c it's honestly not THAT big of a deal to me. but anyway:
it doesn't matter if you're resuming from where you left off or posting from a phone or whatever. Everyone else in this thread (and on the entire mjjc forum) has the same rules. We all manage to go back and edit our posts instead of posting 2 or 3 times in a row. You can still edit a post on a phone--i do it all the time.

it's just poor forum etiquette to post more than once. It's not just here, it's like an internet-wide thing, since the internet was created.

I also hear the similarity between Lady Gaga and Ace of Base. Lady Gaga is talented, but she's not a groundbreaking artist. And, I'm tired of people claiming she's original. All she does have been done by others decades ago.

I think she may have better staying power if she relies less on the crazy costumes. To me, her outrageous stage attire is getting boring. She's at her best when she sits in front of piano and sing.

Lol... I change color again. Within a week, I've gone from yellow, to blue, to purple, to gray.

^^ That's one I don't like...Cuz I really don't like country music at all...LOL...

I find Gaga has talent...I just find she overdoes it...She's not as original as people seem to think she is...But I do like her music...She does have some good hooks and melody :D

@lovey...I agree about the costumes...I watched some of her Monster Ball tour and I just couldn't get into it...I don't prefer her performing...She's a terrible dancer and I find her choreography quite bland...The costumes and everything she does is just overdoing it...She doesn't need it, I find..She's someone who could definitely benefit from the advice of: "Less is more"...lol...She has talent, but I find she doesn't quite know how to use it to full potential...

I think Lady Gaga's star is fading. Despite the massive promotion, Born This Way was not a huge success.

Actually, I believe Mutt Lange (who was married to Shania Twain, and produced and wrote some of her songs, I believe) produced You and I....And my aunt actually went to school with Shania Twain, and Shania attended the same elementary school I did lol..

I actually like the Born This Way album :fear: but yeah, it didn't do as well as her other stuff...
 
I don't like her music, she's a copycat and I hate the way she dresses (in meat dress, devil horns, etc.) She's like a Satan worshipper. I'm glad she is fading out now.
