Michael - The Great Album Debate

Like I said many times MJ did not sing with vibratos like that but the person responsible for that told us why that is there.

That's a lie though. I'm gonna show you in 2012. The Melodyne ex...planation is a lie. Forget Melodyne: The processing ex...planation regarding the vibrato speed is a lie.

Teddy Riley.

Well yeah Teddy said he caused the vibrato but then we discovered that it is present on Breaking News and Monster from a time before he worked on them. It is also present on all the other tracks that he did not work on. How would you explain that?

Yes and your research is great. Thanks for all that you're doing. The irony in all this is that the tracks contain hardly any processing. The vibrato is the singers natural one.

Maybe Eddie Cascio mest with them before Teddy Riley was called in to work on them.

Update: But Teddy was blamed for the vibrato.

But there is no known technique that can do that. And why would vocals need to be altered to such a degree? They were recorded on good quality equipment. There was nothing wrong with these vocals in terms of quality. We've tried with so many of Michael's demos/outside recordings etc to make them sound such a way ie vibrato, accent etc. It just can't be done. Perhaps a far simpler and more logical explanation would be that they sound the way they do because that is what the singer sounds like.

Well Eddie said MJ recorded on the shower and that microphone was not showed they did show the new studio and a picture of a floor with cushions and some recording equipment but we are not sure that is what they used.

That´s not MJ, sounds totally like Jason Malachi.

It´s the same young and ugly voice

Ts-ts-ts. Now you don't even recognize Michael Jackson's voice anymore.
The snippet "Face" is a fake one but contains copy-paste jobs from MJ only. No Jason dude, Kapital! Now you clearly IMAGINED hearing the annoying Jason dude and stated it - as always - as a fact.

I think this was created by the infamous "I have unreleased songs, I leak them if you leak sth first"-person known by the nickname LLCz. Remember him on MaxJax trying to get collectors leak a song on MJ's birthday this year?
He uploads such fake snippets with titles like "Fear", "Breathe" or "Face".
When I tried to expose him he sent me a list of songs he claimed to have and that list told me everything I wanted to know.

Suffocate/Breathe was believe to be called Monster or Fear but those songs were recorded around the History Era. This one is clearly Invincible era. It's length is 5:16. I still don't know the real title, I was told it was called Fear when I brought it.

The shortened version is has some parts cut out. The full version has alot of plain instrumental. I have about 6 other song including IAAL, Suffocate/Breathe, Part Of You're A Liar, and Days In.....

[when asked about HT demo]
Not sure of the exact time, I can't check right now. It's 4:?? I believe.

I brought it a couple weeks ago.

Just some quotes of him that demonstrate that lying can be dangerous.

Remember that it was just 2 seconds of a voice. It's nothing compared to 3 songs in full + 9 songs in 1 min +. It's understandable that someone can think it's not MJ's voice.

Yes, it is. However it is NOT understandable how anyone, especially Kapital who claims to have great knowledge of the Jason dude's voice claims to be 100% sure to hear the Jason dude sing in this very snippet. This is worrisome.

The 4 second snippet is clearly Michael and obviously a copy/paste job. The "too meee" sounds heavily slowed down.

I guess that given this, it is likely Michael as well on the 2 second snippet. Your comparison is still not that convincing to me however, Pentum - there is still something off about the voice in the snippet. But I think there is a possibility that this "oooon now" was also slowed down and that the artifacts that result from it threw me off.

If you slow down monster to its original speed "bpm?" i think it was it can compare to Privacy beat-like but not vocally. Becuase the Cascio singer doesnt seem to have that same grit and husk as MJ did. Should it be Mike could it be he wasnt using the technique for this batch of songs?

Something wrong with the "to mee" vibrato but the pronounciation is more like Michael than the other one. It's almost a goat vibrato but take the considration MJ does fast vibratos in a few songs (though by no means goat). I agree there's still something off about the voice. The "now" sounds really boyband-ish, I'd say "worse" than Jason.

In conclusion, however, I don't think this assuption that "you can judge MJ from 2 seconds" is valid as doubters boasted when they heard Can't Get Your Weight Off Me.

I said it sound like Jason Malachi. If is not, good for you. I never said it´s 100% Jason "dude".

Ok, maybe i made a mistake with 1 second of a fake snippet. You made a BIG mistake with 12 tracks that you claim is not Jason "dude". I don´t know what´s worst. You bought a album with 3 fake tracks and you WERE THE BEST SUPPORTER of those tracks and Cascio´s.

I repeat to you, i don´t know what it´s worst.

I still waiting for your ONE TRUTH: "next week, this year, soon" signatures. HAHAHA.

By the way, you came here after hearing the 4 seconds snippet. I only heard 1 second of a mixed fake snippet.

Bye Alex, bye.

thank you for the respect that you show for people with opposing views and the moderators. and you know what I mean.

I for one am happy to see the video Grent has planned in store for us. I expect it to be good as he has said.

My post has nothing to do with the video Grent is planning. He know what I'm talking about.

Well i know what you meant, disrespect on other peoples views. He just feels strongly on his feelings, as do some other people. As long as we can get along and just accept what we accept whatever is in our hearts i dont think we will have much problem. I mean we are all MJ fans, the least we can do is enjoy Michael's music together.

Off-topic (at this point) but does anyone like King of the Hill (you'll see where I'm going with this soon enough)?

Its crazy how these tracks have become the biggest contriversy!! While there is so much bigger things going on, this is what we care about most..

If it wasn't for the music, none of us would be here in the first place.

I think it's fair to say that upholding a man's musical legacy is pretty high up on the fan agenda. His music is ultimately what he left us, and it's our duty to make sure it doesn't come under attack. These tracks are a threat to it.

And if it wasn't for those other important things surrounding Michael HE would be here today!

To me there's not much more important than his musical legacy. The crooks and lies will come and go out of mjs life but the music is forever.to have someone else's craptastic music called "michaeljackson" is a tragedy of the highest order, and one I actually feel like fans can do something about

do people really think these cascio tracks.. fake or not are really effecting Michaels legacy more than the rumors people have spread and continue to spread about him over the past 2 decades?? Really? than go out and ask any random person in a store, the gym, at work etc.. what they think about 'breaking news', 'keep your head up', and 'Monster'.. They very most likely wont have an opinion because they have not even heard of them.. Now you ask them about if they think Michael was a drug addict, or pedophile, or his nose was falling off.. See how passionate there responce will be.. THAT is what really effects his legacy in a negitive way!! NOT a few tracks that most people have never heard.
