Michael - The Great Album Debate

love is magical, Arklove, all the rest of you Michael Jackson fans! The discussion at Maximum-Jackson is slow too. :(

because we have beat the subject to death. and any more discussion is like pounding the sand

This debate will out live all of us

This may be true. Although we have beaten this subject to death, the Cascio threads remain some of the most active threads here and Max Jax. Isn't it a sign that some of us still can't let the subject go?

This thread is not the only thread experiencing a slow down. May I say the forum, as a whole, is experience a drop in traffic?

Guys, it seems TPIMaster has been IP banned from MJJC...He's getting the exact same Forbidden error code that I got when I was IP banned back in May...

Strangly, one of his latest posts is missing. The one in which he was describing to JMie how the doubters are treated. He might have been too honest, it seems.

^^Yeah, it was written either here or in one of the Carter threads and then adjoined to this one along with the cascio talk that Bumper started.

We will never let this go.Michael's discography has been f'd with, with a turdly promoted album with FAKE songs.

Just a thinking,I never thought this would happen.

I think TPIMaster is a huge gift to the community.

It's times when things like this happen and like when BUMPER was taken off of MAX-JAX, when we realize the negative effects this vocal controversy has had on the fan community.

Perfectly loving, happy, friendly, good people that are rule-obeying and stand by Michael Jackson's side are being banned left and right simply for this Cascio issue. It's a tragedy.

These Cascio tracks manage to cause a magnitude of damage in the fanbase that not even the child abuse accusation and Michael's passing could cause.

The distrust caused by these tracks is irreversible. I haven't seen such level of IP banning before November 2010. This album failed to unite fans. For the first time, Michael's music cause split in the fanbase.

Not everything is measured by dollar sign. This is a sad lesson to the people responsible for the Michael album.

Michael's music could never cause such a split.

True, Michael's music can never cause such a split. So, how can the Cascio tracks be called Michael Jackson songs. Legally speaking, they are. But, in spirit, these are just fabricated songs blessed by the Michael Jackson Estate.

Michael's music could never cause such a split.
This is a really really really good point.

Like someone also said, there is complete madness when a song like Blue Gangsta or All In Your Name comes out. People are so happy, and even if some don't like the song there's never such a divide.

But when a Cascio song comes out about two people are happy and the rest are completely pissed.

I agree, we've been through so much over the years and we've never seen so much arguing and a separation between the fans, its quite sad to see. Hope they learn from what can only be described as a mistake.

Yes, it speaks volumes....It's so loud people are covering their ears...

Unfortunately some people just can't admit what is staring them in the face, because they just want new music from Michael. This is why people who believe the songs are genuine keep dissecting and attacking everything we say. They are vulnerable and don't want to admit the truth. A truth which, to any die hard MJ fan with knowledge of the background of these songs and knowledge of a certain Mr Cupeta's actions, is blantantly obvious. A shame because had we stuck together, something could have been done to stop it.

^^ Well, to me, it's either Michael or it's not....SIMPLE! All the legalities, the excuses, the ways to explain why people hear differently, and that our senses are all fucked up (all of a sudden we can't trust what we hear anymore? really? Bullshit) The Estate's statement, Teddy Riley and Eddie Cascio with their 'It's Michael', the fact that these songs are on an 'official' Michael album.....These long winded posts to trying to persuade people one way or the other....Take all that away and what do you have? A suspicious bunch of songs that sound like nothing Michael has ever sounded like, and can be compared up down and all around to ANOTHER singer (one that fooled people in the past!), yet we're still to believe it's Michael Jackson singing?

Gimme a break.

The Cascio's wouldn't do this to him?? Mike's been betrayed so many times before...Look at Aaron Carter! Look what he's done and he was Michael's supposed friend? It's possible, it's been done before, Michael continues to be used and abused even in death. Anything for money.

And yes, ginvid, I agree...Michael's music could never cause such a split in the fanbase, cuz, um, it ain't Michael's music!

I agree. If the songs were genuine there would be no need for such long winded excuses. Because they would sound like Michael. Still to this day not one person has put forward a comparison of the Cascio vocalist matching anything MJ has done is the last 40 years yet they will come up with ridiculous excuses as to why thats not impossible. Have you seen the garbage they come out with at Maximum Jackson?

you know what else I find ridiculous... Jab Me removing EVERYTHING!

I had made a spoof of how I thought they faked the Cascio tracks and he deleted the video! Although covers are still copyrighted, few singers would remove these covers (Prince being the best example). I sang a large section from Breaking News and brief sections of KYHU and Jason's Room 2 Breathe. I played every role in the video, from Cascio to MJ to Jason Malachi. I made the video all in good fun and it was only my own OPINION! I really see no other reason as to these videos being removed except that Cascio and gang are trying to cover any suggestion that the tracks were fake. Perhaps Cascios got pissed at my portrayal of them all.

I think James Porte is the most mysterious and reclusive of the Cascio crew. He is under the management of Frank Dileo which would make sense why Frank is backing up the Cascio track. There is only one known picture of what he looks like and only one solo song that has leaked out (there was supposed to be some mixtape with several more songs). Even stranger is that he calls himself Bobby Ewing. He has remained silent and instead resorts to deleting any video with songs he "wrote" or sang.

Well, yeah, I mean, none of these long winded posts are invalid, but are they really necessary? Do we need all that fluff to explain why the eff Michael sounds so different? And to still be on it for the last 7 months?

As some people have said, this isn't a debate! It's not a matter of opinion..In my opinion, it's Michael? In my opinion, it's not Michael? This is a huge red flag. The fact that we even have to argue this is a bit ridiculous lol

you know what else I find ridiculous... James Porte (Jab Me Music) removing EVERYTHING just cuz he's singing the background vocals!

jab me music isn't Porte. Jab Me is the publishing firm of Angelikson. Porte's is called Ghost Manor.

True. The fact that fans need to come up with all these long posts to justify their opinons as to whether it is Michael Jackson or not is ridiculous. This shouldn't happen at all.

And, I'm tired of having my intelligence insulted and critical thinking skill questioned when I said I don't believe it's Michael Jackson singing...

well I thought Cascio's was Angelikson; Eddie has referred to himself as Angel Cascio, as his brother calls himself Frank Tyson. Jab me has been associated quite a bit with Porte though, maybe it's because he's part of the Cascio gang. The fact that it's JAB ME like JM has raised eyebrows (Malachi anyone?)

Still, what I did in the video was a matter of fair use and MY OWN OPINION. And they STILL deleted it!
