Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

As far as we know there's no video of Michael singing , that's why I said "some proof but not definitive".

And yes I wanted a honest answer and this actually proves my point of "why not release any proof?". The answer is why should they? (and I'm not talking about legal aspects) Because it's obvious that even if they release the likes of handwritten lyrics/ notes, video statements, even expert reports it wouldn't be enough to convince or change opinions.

And yes several people contacted Cascio's, they do not respond. However this is not strange at least in my opinion, because even before Michael's death and before the release of these songs they wouldn't respond to anything related to Michael either.

Seems a bit weird though. They sold the records for the fans and now they don't want to clarify some problems for the fans.

Maybe The Estate can get in contact with them and tell them how serious this problem is?We just want to know what happened and why the songs seem to be so different...

@Aniram: Uh... sarcasm?
What? Why'd everyone start speaking a foreign language suddenly? I can't read any of your posts.

I was totally kidding. I'm sorry!!! :( I didn't mean to name-call. I don't think they're a weirdo. I love foreign language speakers.

It was only Claudia who said one sentence...I was totally kidding....

Yes, I'm sarcastic sometimes and it can be very hard to detect. :D

Like right now, I believe Michael is on the tracks. I know he's on them, I actually have evidence, photos, and I've seen the notes and I've heard the work tapes over u-stream, and I'm just pretending to doubt because I am a big fan of Jason Malachi and want to promote him.

Are you saying that providing any proof is pointless? Again you are venturing yourself in defending the undefendable. On the one hand they appear on Oprah saying "it's Michael" on the other you emphasize that their testimony "it's Michael" wouldn't have had more impact had they presented more than simply their word.

If someone accused me of something I'd give any, absolutely any evidence I have, and only then iwouldn't care if people believe or not. Just saying it's Michael is as credible as saying it's not Michael (with the only difference that we do have comparisons showing not the similarities, but exactly the same voice as Jason's.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I was disappointed with the Oprah interview. How many of us were just totally focused on the body language there?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

^^I know I was. I was expecting him to rondomly start twitching when asked about wheter the tracks are real or not... something similar to epileptic seizures too.

jk jk :D

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Seriously what do you expect Cascio, the estate or Riley saying? In my opinion, there's no sense in interviewing them.
I heard enough of them. They sold Michael. That's it.

Agree. it's the press and the audiologists that we need to reach as well as Seth Riggs.

I heard that they believe that this debate only hurts Michael in the end.

Don't forget the reality that it's not my call. What I say has no effect on what they do or choose to do.

It's my personal opinion that it's futile attempt now. And be honest now let's go with what we heard to exist, assume that tomorrow they gave you the handwritten notes / lyrics (that Teddy said existed), they showed text messages between Michael and Eddie about the songs (that Teddy said he saw), they gave you the work tapes (that RF said existed - audio of discussing the songs) and Sony / Estate released full expert reports, the names mentioned on the statement released their own statements saying "yes I believe it's 100% Michael", will you start hearing Michael and join to the dark side ? :) Will you say "okay it's Michael then and I was wrong in what I heard?"

and please don't get me wrong, sure I would have liked more transparency and if they had such info they would released them quickly, it's just my opinion that that ship has sailed some time ago and it probably wouldn't make any difference now.

Only hurts Michael in the end? That is an odd thing to believe. I guess because it would expose the corruptness of his Estate, perhaps?

They are the catalyst of this debate. Why not just show some proof so this could finally stop if they are so concerned about Michael and his legacy? They hurted his legacy. Big time.

and what is the proof that would finally stop this? I'm curious what is that thing that would make you say "It's Michael"?

Totally agree. They're the ones who made this mess, they might as well clean it.

They've had all the time to bring up any proof they could. They showed up with... umm words. So if they presented notes and lyrics now, I couldn't help but ask why would have taken such a long time to prsenet those pieces of evidence when they had the chance from the very beginning at the crucial point before and when the album was released.

Second thing, I am already on the dark side, otherwise I wouldn't be confined in a subforum.

Third, brain does plays tricks on people making them believe they hear MJ simply because it is labeled so.
