Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

My first reaction was they are both the same

The big one that has the circles in it :D

You are correct. But the brain tends to make believe that in the left circle the square is darker.

Now look at this one, which orange circle is bigger, in all honesty? What does your brain tell you?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

My first reaction was they were the same, although this could be due to my brains conditioning also. Looking at them closer, my brain kind of makes the one in the white circle seem lighter.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Actually let me explain what I mean better. Any possible "proof" and counter arguments

Handwritten notes / lyrics

- We know Michael stayed there and as being a nice person he helped them with the lyrics but it doesn't mean he sang the songs.
- Well they forged the signature on the will so they can forge his handwriting as well.

Picture in a studio

- We know that Michael stayed there and hang around the studio. It can be from the time he recorded WBSS back vocals doesn't mean he sang those songs.
- That's e-casanova not Michael.

Work tapes (audio of talking about the songs

- We know Michael stayed there and as being a nice person he helped them with the songs, gave them ideas but it doesn't mean he sang the songs.
- That's Jason. He sang the songs and he faked the work tape audio.

People on the estate statement release comes up with their own statements saying the same thing

- They are wrong, they only worked with Michael but didn't listen to him as much as we did.
- They have monetary gain saying this.

Expert reports released

- They fooled the experts with adlibs etc.
- The test is flawed, they didn't test it against voice impersonators.
- Estate / Sony has all the money in the world, they bought the expert and the reports.

And even a video of Michael singing the songs

- They dubbed the Cascio song audio on that video, it's not real.

and it will go on and on and on. And seriously what proof? and how would it make any difference? Especially now.

ivy, I didn't hear your opinion on those videos TPI Master posted. What do you think now? Do you deny that those vocals are basically identical when listened to them side by side like that? Did you hear the Best Of Joy comparison as well?

Well the proof that is Michael singing indeed cannot be brought up. But the proof that Michael is not singing can easily be brought up. Just listen to the comparisons. The voice is identical, so of course no proof can ever be brought that it is Michael singing.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

and what is the proof that would finally stop this? I'm curious what is that thing that would make you say "It's Michael"?

Just saying "it is Michael" won't do it. Ridiculous explanations like "He sang through a pvc pipe" won't do it. Some handwritten lyrics don't proof it's Michael.

Uncut video footage of MJ in the recording studio laying the vocals down. A clean accapella of every lead vocal. That's what we need and what could convince me (maybe). Without the existence of them, I will never believe MJ is singing on these tracks. And they don't have this kind of proof.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Same size was my first reaction

Same size? Your first reaction? It's bearly impossible to have that as a first reaction, because the brain tries to have a comparison all th etime. So the brain sees the left orange circle as smaller than as on the right because of the environment surrounding it. It is the same effect when you see the moon on the horizon, it appears extremely big, and up in the sky it appears small, yet they are exactly the same size.

I swear it was my first reaction.

Am I going to die?

No, you are not going to die. My point was just to prove that we all are being tricked by our brains, because our brain compares all the time. It's called optical illusion.

The same can happen with the audio illusion. The fact that they surrounded Malachi's songs with Michael's would give impression to hear Michael all over the album, but they failed to do with well trained ears. Otherwise we wouldn't have the controversy. i believe that the believers are being tricked by their brains and that was the objective of fabricating those songs in such a way that the brain has difficulties to distinguish Michael's voice from Malachi's.

However, what they forgot is that our brain has been not trained but completely immerged by MJ's voice. And the fact that some of believers finally realized they have been tricked is the proof that at some point their brain couldn't make the difference.

If you remove the big and the small balls around the orange circles, you finally see that they are identical. The audio comparisons had that effect on the believers. They acted as removing MJ's song around the Malachi's and showed them that when you put side aside the two orange balls (Let me let go and Monster for example) you realize they re the same.

I swear it was my first reaction.

If that is the case then you see the moon on the horizon and up in the sky as being of the same size, which means thatthe moon at the horizon doesn't appear to be big in your eyes.

u mean its not bigger?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Absolutely not.

It is your brain who makes you think so, 'cuz it compares the moon with the little objects you see on the horizon such as trees or other things.

Up in the sky it has no other comparison, it stands alone, so it appears small.

I agree.
Shit wrapped as a Christmas gift is still shit.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I give shit every year and no one has a problem with it so the tradition will continue.

Question: can't you say the same for the comparison videos? Michael with Malachi songs give the impression to hear Malachi?

Seems that no one here saw this....
what are your comments?

My thought is that I hope they use my cover:

But in all seriousness, their line of thinking is that it's a good choice for a dance-track single. If there was no controversy, it would be a strong song and a good candidate for a single.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I love Monster so much :)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

So do I, actually. I wish there was no controversy surrounding it so I can enjoy it without doubt in my mind.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Question: can't you say the same for the comparison videos? Michael with Malachi songs give the impression to hear Malachi?

Yes you can. Of course.

But there is one crucial problematic inequation.

Best of Joy + SPYHO = no difference in voice

Monster + Let me let go = no diffeence in voice

Any Malachi's song + any MJ's song = no match

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Monster is fairly good....I listened to it in the car the other day :fear:

Monster is catchy, indeed. But it just doesn't sound Michael. The chorus sounds completely Malachi so as the lead voice all over it.

And the "tooo baaad" part, yuck. Soulless
