You didn't mind Earth Song ad-libs? It was completely out of place and had nothing to do with KYHU. And it sounded awfully amateurishly mixed. I think that MJ would have turnd himself thirty thousand times in his tomb had he heard those adlibs stuck to KYHU. It is just as if you played Mozart backwards.

pentum has a problem with me because I called the "adlib" part they leaked "not water". It's an adlib - nothing more nothing less. Pentum acknowledged that with saying "The Heaven Can Wait singing is some ad libs." I acknowledge the "adlib" portion with my reply to you.

my point was that water has its own lyrics - which again Pentum agreed with the second leak and his part. The lyrics I'm referring are in the song.

and do I really need to answer the last question? Isn't it obvious?

You didn't mind Earth Song ad-libs? It was completely out of place and had nothing to do with KYHU. And it sounded awfully amateurishly mixed.

Those are placeholders that don't make to the final album version and that's why presenting an adlib as the song is flawed IMO. If you are gonna leak a song, leak a legit portion so that we can discuss. Not an adlib.

I don't mind the Earth Song ad-libs either. I love Earth Song. What I REALLY REALLY mind is hearing the Earth Song ad-libs taken by the producers and pasted in a half ass song.

I know right... I have a suggestion. If someone really enjoys the Earth Song ad-libs, just pop in the HIStory CD and play the fifth song instead.

I'd like to emphasize that Earth Song ad-libs are awesome, just to avoid misunderstandings. What I found absolutely ridiculous is to hear those ad-libs on a song that had nothing to do with Earth Song.

It was disgusting. Taking one of Michael's masterpieces to supplement a garbage Jason Malachi track.

Anyway, off the adlibs, Michael has re-used adlibs before in his other songs, so nothing wrong there.

We need to focus on the vocals, and that's it. They have used adlibs, the producers obviously to finish them off.

Exactly! I know it's a posthumous release that needs to be finished in "someway"... Still, why can't they just leave that masterpiece alone.

No, it is not clear at all. This is avoiding my question.
How anyone would know what is in WATER without having heard it beforemath. On top of that, not long ago you claimed that you didn't believe the song WATER existed at all (regarding MJ's singing in This Is It "water, water").

Haha, I didn't say I really really enjoyed them on the song, did I? I said I didn't mind them. I'm glad they're not on the final version. I didn't really appreciate it much, but I guess it wasn't super out of place. Keep Your Head Up had an environmentalist sort of feel to me, anyway, like Earth Song, so I understood... But I also wasn't sure who added it.

Well that's your opinion. My opinion is that they used one of Michael's masterpieces in another of Michael Jackson's masterpieces. However, they corrected their mistake before the release.

No, it's wrong. Earth Song and KYHU do not go together. Earth Song is a masterpiece. Period. It has nothing to do with a half baked poppish song, that tries so hard to be the 2010 version of KTF.

If Michael has re-cycled his own ad-libs, he must have a point to do so.

In this case, there is no point, except to make it sound more Michael-ish.

Thank you and that was exactly my point. If you are going to leak anything, leak a verse so that we can discuss the vocals. There's no sense in leaking an obvious adlib and create hysteria.

All that is happening by not leaking atm is prolonging this argumentative stage between fans which is just not nice to see at all.

Ivy: To me, it looked like you meant that the first snippet was not the song Water, which it is. That's what caused confusion.

KYHU a masterpiece?

Just for the record, before HISTORY was released, the radios had the album and were playing EARTH SONG spontaneously as it was considered as an absolute masterpiece from the very beginning. So far I haven't heard any radio playing KYHU even after the release of the album Michael. Note that MJ had quite a tarnished image back then, yet they played it. Today when MJ is dead, which is the best free promotion SONY could get, nobody seems to play KYHU as much or as often (if at all) as Earth Song.

@love is magical: It was on a leaked version. I didn't really appreciate it or enjoy it much when I first heard the leak, but I wasn't pissed off about it, I wasn't confused about it. At first I thought someone added it as a watermark. I immediately realized it probably wouldn't be on the final released version. But I didn't mind it, really. I never listen to the leaked "Black & Beats Vibes Baby" track.

I see there's some hysteria because some people have the full Cascio set. I'm not sure why. Make it a genuine MJ track and I'll join in.

Yes, I agree, the person who is leaking the snippets, should leak the whole song. I can't stand snippets, not when it is a topic like this.

You haven't heard all of the Cascio tracks. You are judging them because they are labeled "Cascio" and therefore your opinion upon hearing them will be biased.

I do enjoy Keep Your Head Up, especially the second verse on. Maybe it starts off a little awkward (to be expected in a posthumous demo), but it picks up and is an excellent song.

No, Earth Song was not destroyed. It can never be destroyed. It's a masterpiece created and approved by Michael Jackson.

But, when ad libs as distinctive and brilliant as the Earth Song being taken so liberally and stuck into a song like KYHU, it's not right. Actually, the album version of KYHU is not that much better. The "oohs oohs" from Earth Song is so blatant.

In this case, you are correct. Cascio songs are currently 3 for 3. I would imagine the trend to continue, although I'm open to revise my opinion after listening to them.

P.S. Are you saying KYHU is as good as Earth Song?
