Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

And thats how i feel toward the cascio tracks, HT and BoJ are fake! i mean think about it, why use a completely different track for the music video? hiding something are we?

Michael is not one to do silly little songs like BoJ and HT which are both over repetitive and boring, and trust me, even songs of his i dont like aren't repetitive (i dont really like Thriller for example)
I am forever, we are forever, i am forever, we are forever... and ever and ever and OMG SHUT UP!

It doesn't even sound like him

First you just proved by your statement that you are not a real MJ fan. I don't know any MJ fan who doesn't like Thriller.

Second, by saying that MJ is not one to do "silly songs" such as BOJ and HT because they are over repetitive shows how much you actually don't know MJ's songs. According to you these songs would be also fake:

Can't let her get away
Superfly Sister
Beautiful girl
This time around
...

Third, as a MJ fan, you just said to MJ to shut up.

Are you saying that minorities are wrong? No matter how small a minority is, it does not detract from the fact that they are correct, look at examples from history, go back to the time of Galileo, only a very very small percentage of people believed that the earth revolved around the sun (as opposed to the sun and the planets revolving around the earth).

"The Majority Is Always Wrong". Socrates

So if the minority believes that the Cascio tracks are fake, we are right?

 *points at avatar* Hehe :D You're silly.

But seriously, Best of Joy is a beautiful song. You should open your mind more and enjoy it. It's a gem, really. :) I didn't mean that as an insult, either, I hope you can enjoy it in time. I'm absolutely in love with it!

Hollywood Tonight had already been heard before this album, larry, you know that right? There was a demo floating around of it that was recorded directly outside of MJ's hotel room. How could that be fake? It's not, trust me larry!

@Bumper, I don't really like Thriller, either, it's one of my least favorite MJ songs. He didn't even write it. But I love the video and the dancing. And I love his vocals on it. I just don't really like the lyrics and theme.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I hope you all know i was joking about HT and BoJ to get your reactions, and im happy to say that i got what i was expecting *REPORT*, anyway, i LOVE BoJ and HT, the Thriller thing was true though, i think the only good part is the music and the dance but thats it

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

larry, I saw through that silliness. :D I knew there was something fishy about your signature being all supportive of Michael and then saying BoJ is fake I was like hey wait a tick.

I'm quite sarcastic myself. :D

Look, from my PoV, the whole Cascio debate is quite silly, on one side we have people who say it's fake because their ears tell them so and because some (not all EG JANET) say they are, and on the other side we have those who say its real because they aren't so critical of people with a good track record, and they can hear Michael (well i can anyway).

Personally i think those producers who worked with Michael (including Travis Payne) have a better track record than Mrs Jackson and Mr Jackson who covered up Joe's abuse for years, and only admitting it in November last year...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I just don't understand why yet. If I could really understand a motive, or if it made sense whatsoever, like Michael being murdered, I'd understand. This debate makes little sense to me because a) I hear Michael and b) There's not reason.

There's no reason to fake these tracks. They do nothing to tarnish his legacy. There is nothing malicious about them, nothing slandering. It's all for love(or L.O.V.E.) anyway, obviously, where is the harm?

If these tracks were truly bad and also mentioned where he loves little boys bottoms, It'd make more sense to me.

But the scenario that doubters come up with seems more laughable, to me, than the shower explanation.

And when I look at Eddie, I don't really see a liar. When I see Michael and him hanging out together, enjoying their time, I don't see a liar.

Plus, he's a little different than Gavin or Jordan, he's not a child being influenced by his parents. Those children were not liars, to me, but heavily influenced by their parents greed for money. This is a different case... Eddie Cascio spent his childhood and upbringing in a normal relationship with Michael. This was not some ill kid with greedy parents who exploited the situation, you understand my point? Eddie learned Michael Jackson songs on piano at a young age. He was 'in love' with Michael Jackson his entire life. I have a hard time believing he'd just betray Michael within a year of his passing.

And Teddy. I don't know Teddy at all, I hadn't seen any of him before this thing started and I still haven't watched his interviews he gave immediately after Michael's passing. I just hear he was very upset, grieving like everyone else... I think he's genuine. I don't see him easily betraying Michael's legacy.

I don't believe Joe. He seems almost crazy to me? He said that one child is Michael's child, but it totally isn't. I mean, they look a lot alike, but am I supposed to believe that other kid is Michael's 'secret child'? Come on.

I look up to and admire Janet, and she hasn't said anything about the tracks being fake, so I'm also putting faith in her on this one.

That's my opinion. Sorry if I rambled a bit, it's almost 3am here and I am very tired, but I didn't get off work until very late.

LARRY'S LOGIC:

Here's Larry's review of the Michael's song Best Of Joy as stated in December 2010 on his blog:

Best Of Joy 10/10: Being one of the last songs Michael ever recorded (just weeks before he died) it definitely fills me with a flood of emotions, the music is simple and fantastic, it just doesn't get boring, the lyrics are amazing with Michael chanting "I am forever, wasn't it i that carried you around?" it brings the uplifting ballad straight to my heart, reminding me that he will always remain, i add this song to my list of Michael classics along side Billie Jean, MITM, ES and many more!

Here's Larry's review 2-3 months later:

HT and BoJ are fake!

Michael is not one to do silly little songs like BoJ and HT which are both over repetitive and boring, and trust me, even songs of his i dont like aren't repetitive (i dont really like Thriller for example)

Here's Larry's review of the Michael's song Hollywood Tonight as stated in December 2010 on his blog:

Hollywood Tonight 9/10: The groovy bass and the beatboxing grab you, and the first lines of the song sound like a new Michael that is new and ready for a comeback. The verses, the bridge and the music are all strong points in this song. The Chorus however is quite plain and boring and after a while get repetitive.

Here's Larry's review 2-3 months later:

Now, I know that we all can change our mind on some things, and even hesitate whether the Cascio songs are Michael's or not, but boy, to read such a drastic change! Wow! And we are supposed to follow his pattern of logic?

Lol, lol, lol!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Yeah that would be right, but your not a majority, there is not majority, it's split the fans right down the middle, look at the polls taken on the site

Oh now I get it, so all the minority sects are right. Geeez, that's what I call thinking!

No, i was saying that you can't discount a minority just because it's a minority, because logically the majority can be wrong, like Eminem being most like artist on Facebook, is that right? i mean, Lady GaGa i understand, but Eminem?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Don't be naive guys, Larry knows it is MJ on those tracks. He's trying to 'prove' to us that anyone can doubt any track by simply saying "my ears don't recognize Michael's voice". The problem is that he doesn't take into account a very important factor, a huge number of people doubt the vocals on the Cascio tracks, whereas both Cascio-doubters and Cascio-believers agree MJ sings HT & BOJ. He simply doesn't (want to) see the flaws in his logic.

If Larry wants to believe that BOJ and HT is not MJ, let him believe so, he may create a thread and would probably be alone in it.

^^^ Read what i just said, i said i was joking... FAIL POST

Read mine first, several pages before.
But you were so persistent in your joke that I just threw your illogical contradictory comments in the face by using your blog's review comments.

For the record, I haven't reported you as I know that you were just trying to force a situation with a complete lack of factors that I mentioned earlier in some of my posts.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Lady Gaga and Eminem both aren't that impressive, in my opinion. Eminem is more impressive than Lady Gaga, to me, but doesn't use his talents as well as he could. Not Afraid is one of his best.

Although dispite me not believing that there are ANY fake tracks on the album, there are people who think HT and BoJ aren't Michael, which is why i picked those two, and i kept going with the joke because i wanted a reaction, which i got, and im happy lol, but whatevs, the fact remains that there is only one real argument for the Cascio tracks being fake, and theres over 5 for them being real, which is why i picked the side i picked, it's all about what's logical

You did not say that. You quoted (again out of context) Socrate and tried to force it on to situations such as this controversy that we are having about the Cascio tracks.

You started talking about the minority, whereas here even though the minority/majority argument emerged on several occasion is actually even not debated. We aren't stupid, we all know that in some situations the majority is right, but in some other situations the minority is right. The only thing that was pointed out regarding majority/minority fact is that there is a too huge number of doubters regarding the Cascio tracks to be neglected (no matter if they are minority or majority).

You also got my reaction saying that I won't waste my energy or time debating unquestionable tracks. I actually didn't bother. I even suggested to open another thread where you would probably be alone. But there is no such thread, because the number of people doubting those tracks are clearly erronously believing they're fake and the number is probably insignificant. There are no petitions to my knowledge nor controversy in the media about those tracks either.

Well why bother communicating with others if the most important thing is to understand yourself. Was it worth posting it? Funny thing, I always thought that a language was a tool to communicate with each other rather than to communicate with yourself.

Sad thing is, there was a thread about HT, and it was about how someone thought it was fake, on of the reply's was that BoJ was fake as well... which is what builds my foundation that everyone hears different things, so we can't trust our hearing, my example continues...

My Mum said: HT, BN, Monster and KYHU were fake

My Uncle said: Monster was fake

My Sister said: BN and HT was fake

I Say: BN is Partly fake and Jason Malachi is fake...:hysterical:

Sorry just had to, but in conclusion we all can't rely on our senses, as they are never 100% accurate

Not on you, on your comments. Your logic doesn't work. Asking the general public (mum, dad, uncles, friends, etc) are not the ones who would provide you answers.

It's not because the general public doesn't know MJ's voice that fans don't know it. Sorry your demonstration is invalid.

Which means that if you didn't know ant language at all you wouldn't be able to communicate with yourself (with thoughts for example)? But, that's another debate;
