Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Sarcasm? I hope.

Actually, you have 0% of knowledge that that's actually the case. Most albums have 3 single releases or more, depending on how the label pushes the project and how much money can be gained off it. The US has only gotten two so far, HMH, and the upcoming BTM, there's still a high possibility that Monster can potentially be released as the third single. Especially if BTM doesn't do that well, which many people are predicting.

You're right. Anything is possible. However, it seems more likely that HT with be the 3rd single for countries who are getting BTM and vice versa based on the current work that is underway and earlier statements by Gaz that all countries will get the same singles just not necessarily in the same order. My gut feeling is that Monster will never see the light of day which is just fine by me. Time will tell though...

I hope it doesn't...The less people know about those Cascio songs, the better...

:)
I'm proud of You my friend.
I really hope You'll sleep better now.
:) :) :)

I will indeed sleep better knowing that future generations may never learn of these fake songs, the controversy, or the cash-i-ho's when they discover the true greatness of Michael Jackson. I really hope this mess just fades away similar to that entire season of Dallas which turned out to be a bad dream...

In a way, it could be construed as useful to highlight the blatant fraud to a wider audience...publicise it more, that kind of thing. I don't think all "casual listeners" would fall for it.

Yes, when you put it that way, I can agree with that...Although, I still believe that if 'Monster' is ever released being that it's from an 'official' Michael Jackson album, even casual listeners would believe it's Michael...First, because they don't know his voice well enough and because they probably just don't care...

Maybe because it sounds like Michael and it is Michael. :naughty:

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I hope samhabib didn't, like, die or anything. Very bizarre for them to go this long without posting in this thread. It has completely killed it. He is the King of Doubt. :'(

He took a break. He said he'd come back when fresh evidence surfaced. If it ever does.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I know, I've been in this thread, too! But I thought he'd be back two posts later... :( He will return soon.

Don't worry. He'll be back at some point I'm sure.

lol... you miss him, don't you?

sadly, no new evidence has surfaced ever since he took a break.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I don't really miss him that much, I guess, but it's just interesting to me to see the drastic change in activity in this thread just because he's no longer posting. It's like everyone goes, 'OK, samhabib's leaving... guess I'm leaving too.' Suddenly everybody got tired of not getting anywhere. It's probably not for long, though, I can see this thread getting another hundred pages.

i still follow this thread. it's becoming my habit.

i guess this thread is following its natural course. it'll die one day. eventually, in the absence of fresh evidence, we'll run out of valid arguments.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

NO. It will die the day we allow it to. Are you with me?! Keep it alive!!!

hahaha...you're the one who wanted him gone! It's funny, people said the atmosphere in here was unpleasant with him here, and now that's he gone, still no one is posting....Funny that..

Speaking of irony...

Lol... we love this thread, aren't we?

Okay... so, let's get back on topic. Has anyone here heard the early version of Monster and Stay?

Any thought?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I'm still posting and I said his atmosphere was unpleasant at times. It was! It seems, to me, like mostly doubters that have lost interest in the thread since samhabib left, not the people who found it unpleasant.

100% Michael on Stay. I just don't hear any resemblance to Jason on this track at all and I hear Michael completely. I think Monster has an aggressiveness that Jason lacks, as well, and there's a way he communicates the words that is different. I can't explain it very well, but I feel and hear Michael on these songs.

I admit, the vibrato is wrong in places, and the voice quality has a lot stripped out of it, but underneath it I can still hear Michael a lot more than I hear similarity to Jason Malachi.

These are interesting recordings indeed. I look forward to hopefully someone shedding ANY more possible light on these tracks.

So, why the people who found this thread unpleasant before don't come here and post now? Are people truly discouraged to post here because of the atmosphere? If so, how come I don't see an increase in activity level in threads with "pleasant" atmostphere?

Like I said before, we can't simply blame Sam for the lack of activity here. Generally speaking, most have lost interest in this album and decided to move on.

I never lose interest in this thread. But, I can't come here and talk to myself. We need interaction and inputs from others.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I haven't heard any of these 'early' versions, love is magical, where have you heard them? For me, as it stands, Stay and Monster are as fake as it gets, just like the rest of the Cascio tracks we've heard.

EDIT: I may have heard an early version of 'Monster', awhile ago when the snippet leaked, but it sounded the same to me as on the album...Which is why I avoided hearing the entire song until the album came out because I was so disturbed...

The album version of Monster is definitely speed up. This may explain why I feel the vocalist is "catching up" with the beats. The vocals are overly stacked. I actually prefer the early version of Monster.

In terms of agrressiveness in vocals, I still can't feel the husk that is in Michael's voice when he sang this type of songs.

After hearing the early version, I'm more in doubt than ever. I truly don't know what to believe.
