Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Hey Dorian, what did you mean by "Burn Tonight" being connected by the "Let it Burn!" segment from "Beat It"?

I can't wait to listen to "Burn Tonight", according to Teddy it's going to be a Salsa song!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Water - Michael singing `wateer wateeer` at the end of Billie Jean.
Burn Tonight - After the dance segment MJ says `and let it burn!`.

I don't think they're connected,just pointing this out :).

Yup, they got it from a tabloid rumor after Michael died.

It was around the time they were coming up with names for that hand motion during TII: "The Penguin"

LMAO!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Perhaps they'll use that snippet of MJ singing "water, water..." in "Water" when/if they release it. The same concept from "Burn Tonight" with that "Beat It" segment. I REALLY wanna hear those songs!!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Well, let's try to connect dots like this (even if it sounds foolish at first, let's just open this possibility up):

Let's trust TEDDY RILEY, a long-term Michael's friend:

1) According to Teddy Riley Michael was a target and from what Teddy knows about Michael, he would tend to believe that Michael is alive. He would fake his death in order to escape the public life and be left alone in order to have normal life with his kids and trustworthy relatives.

2) According to rumours, Michael expressed a wish to do something with Jason.

3) Jason and Porte collaborated (on Michael's demand? and covered up by the trustworthy friends the Casciosn and backed by Teddy?)

4) The only existing raw demo vocals heard by the analysts were really hummed by Michael Jackson and afterwards recorded with Jason on the final product in order to accustom the public with the different voice and at the same time not to question future tracks that will sound alike.

5) Why would Michael do it? Well, still according to Teddy Riley, because he likes/liked controversy and lives/lived for it. To show (in Michael's words) "the opposite of unexpected" and taunt the media and SONY who had been tarnishing him.

6) Someone as credible as Taryll was necessary to back and confirm what doubters believe, i.e. fake vocals.

7) a) The fans are happy anyway, because there is a new album with recognizable voice. Thise who don't recognize Michael on the three tracks will survive. Those who don't, well it's meant to create controversy, so it is perfect.
b) Sales are boosted by the controversy.
c) Sony Music doesn't have a clue what is going on and are being ridiucled.
d) Media reports more positive things than negative.
e) Michael is left alone.
f) Even if the tracks are fake, Michael is behind the whole idea.
g) No one is able to bring up any proof, and that's meant to be like that.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Every song from the Cascio's is going to be a fake. They've got a 100% record so far!

Yep.So do I.IMO I enjoy the Cascio tracks, they have the best production of the whole album, especially Monster.I really got used to them and I get a somehow Michael-ish feeling while listening to them, but I have to agree the voice sounds different.

@Bumper.If you believe in the conspiracy of the Cascio tracks why not believe the MJ alive theory?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I'll completely agree, Dorian. They do sound different, but the vocals have that flair, that spark that's in MJ's voice. Of course, to avoid getting flamed, it is only my opinion.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Okey guys.Let's get back on the copy-paste thing.Maybe we can find out new things.

What we've got until now:
Breaking News/Monster - full of copy/paste.
Stay/Keep Your Head Up - partially.
All I Need - almost no copy paste.

I'll make some lyrics tomorrow with all the copy/pasted words so we can get a better idea.

Exactly. If Teddy says Michael is alive, but can't say more why, then his death was faked.

If his death was faked, the songs could have been faked too.

so Michael faked his death and SOMEONE else faked the songs? Are you saying that there are 2 perfect but separate faking happening?

plus if we are to believe that Michael is alive wouldn't it make the album and the songs more legit as the album / releases will be under Michael's control?

Only in the parallel universe in which Teddy Riley's mental state resides.

You are again twisting what I am saying. Those are not two independent happenings, but different dots of the same plan. By the way, I am not saying Michael is alive. Teddy is. So, if he's alive, he faked his death after doing this rumoured something with Jason in 2007.

What if since his vindication he really was fed up with the life he lived and the constant media harrassing?
What if he said to himself that if there is a third con accusation he won't be vindicated by the jury?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

so who's singing in the demos for Biggerman and You Don't Have To Go? It's not Jason, it could be Tony Kurtis. Sounds very R&B like Ne-Yo.

BTW, I always thought background vocals of JM's songs sound a lot like James Porte.

Does anybody know who wrote Let Me Let Go? Jason's version was produced by TK, BUT I think Chris Trousdale released his version before Jason did.

What I'm trying to say is that if I had to believe Teddy, I'd more easily believe that Michael is alive because of many possible reasons, than that the Cascio tracks are genuine. Hence, if Michael could fake death, he could fake songs.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Er... There are some fans on here who have DEFINITELY downplayed his talent in order to tie him to these bullshit songs. I've read some fans saying that Michael wrote a lot of crap songs, hence he could have written the Cascio songs, etc.

Oh, I understand you now, I thought you meant the other way around! I definitely agree!!

Em, what?

What? What? What?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

What as to what are you saying. I don't think what you are saying makes any sence. Mike alive, having faked his death, releasing fake songs. You were joking right? Otherwise it doesn't make any sence.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

^He's just reporting what Teddy has been saying on his Twitter. The fake tracks however to me, isn't a ridiculous thought at all..

I am not joking. I provided a video link where Teddy Riley expressed his belief that Michael is alive.

So, if I had to trust Teddy, I am saying it is easier to believe that, than that the Cascio songs are genuine.

On top of that, Jason said this:

"And, I can't confirm this, but at the time, my management said they received a call from Michael, and that he wanted to work with me," Malachi continues. "Now, it could've been someone posing as Michael, but he said he was interested in doing something with me.

The thing is, Malachi insists he isn't trying to sound like Michael at all. “I don’t try to sound like Michael," he says. "Producers tell me I naturally have same vocal structure—that's really how I sound. When people say, 'You're trying to sound like Michael,' I say, 'No, if I wanna sound like Michael, you won’t know the the difference [between me and him]. If you want me to get Mike-ified, I can do it.'

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

^^Wasn't that in 2008?

The article is related to the hype the track "Mamacita" provoked, in 2007! A radio station announced the track as an unreleased MJ track! So, yep, they were duped back then.

New ***** Tracko?

UPDATE: Raymone Bain, Jackson's power publicist, called us back. She told us that Mr. Jackson has "not released any new material" and as far as she knows this is not his song. She says it is a "smooth criminal pulling a fast one!" She did say, however, that if someone has leaked material illegally, their lawyers would pursue it. Who's bad!

Either the King of Pop is on a mission to reclaim his throne, or some other smooth criminal is pulling a fast one.

Pittsburgh's 96.1 KISS FM claims they have a new song from Michael Jackson called "Mamacita," where the Gloved One rocks out ... sometimes in Spanish! Que' ridiculo!

TMZ couldn't confirm with Michael's rep if the new track is authentic, but ***** hasn't released an original song in years and is overdue for a comeback -- like some other pop stars we know!

Teddy is talking bull..t. Of course he doesn't believe that Mike is alive. He is saying all those things for different reasons. Now, i myself have some troubles with those three tracks but if i had to choose between Mike's faking his death or the genuine of the songs, i would go for the second. Mike is dead and something is off with those 3 tracks. Either they are butchered demos, which i beggin to believe they are, or someone else is singing in the largest part of them. But it would be nice to stop with the fake death theories because it makes people loose their credibility.

Haha, I knew about this but I didn't realize it fooled that many people! It is obviously NOT Michael Jackson!!

Click on the video link I provided and hear it from his own mouth. He does believe that Mike is alive and even says that he doesn't care if people would think that he's crazy because of that belief.

And bear in mind, it's also the same guy who believes that Michael IS singing the Cascio Tracks!

One radio station and Youtuber's aren't really "many" people, when you consider those who could immediately tell a difference upon first listen.

Haha, I knew about this but I didn't realize it fooled that many people! It is obviously NOT Michael Jackson!!

I remember when it came out. I already admitted that at that time I was fooled too (only during a couple of days though), because, first, I hadn't realize that someone could imitate MJ as close as JM and second, we've been expecting a new Michael album called 7even. However, afterwards many of us realized that we've been fooled. Since then, Jason became famous. As far as 7even is concerned, the album never came out. Afterwards, out of frustration someone made a fake album with some Jason's songs on it thinking that the songs were MJ's unreleased songs. And some people still today believe it is a MJ's album.

Today we witness the Cascio tracks which sound different. I don't think that we can be fooled twice.
