I think we all really need to voice our opinions and have little debates (circumstances surrounding the tracks' supposed recording, proof/evidence, etc.), but it needs to stay respectful. I do admit that the 'believers' have made some interesting points when it comes to the songs, as have the 'doubters'. Regardless, there's still doubt.

:popout:

Does someone remember Frank Cascio saying in the MJDatabank interview that he tried to contact Jason Malachi? Or have I dreamt this? I've looked at all the interview parts and I can't find it again. Could have sworn he said that.

If he really tried to get in contact with Jason Malachi, I find it strange that he doesn't pronounce 'Malachi' correctly.

If he would have listened to Jason's music on YouTube or got even a bit deeper into Jason Malachi, he would have known how to pronounce it. 'Runner up' in the beginning, you hear 'Malachi, malachi' and then there's the video where Jason is introducing himself in 'Don't walk away'. And in interviews also Jason Malachi's name is pronounced properly.

Just something I noticed.

@Stella, I want/need the info you have...asap please..:D. Your mysterious posts are too much.

He knows full well who Jason is but beyond being a co-writer on some of the early Porte versions, such as Soldier Boy for example, he didn't really have any involvement in these songs. He is bad with pronounciation anyway. He called Tom Sneddon "Tom Snenton".

Sorry I don't mean to be mysterious. Trust me, I'm as frustrated with this whole thing as you are. It's been two years now since these songs came out and they have no place in Michael's discography. It will all come to a head. I promse you that. But I can't say anything or I will be shot!

Peed me off when I went to Immortal and the programme had the Michael album but no BOTDF. Michael's discography includes BOTDF more than it does that joke. That's why I'm annoyed, people may miss out on the real Michael and think some goat dude is amazing. It's just plain wrong.

quite convenient that these imposters, however well connected they are, are doing this as the age of mtv and videos had already phased out. if anything from this farce became fodder for a 'hit' single, they wouldn't have to make a video. hmmm. Listen to radio and believe whatever the dj tells you for the 'theater of the mind'. Thing is, if one seeks to erase the essence of another, it comes back to the perpetrator, no matter what. Justin Timberlake said it. He knows. He must have experienced it. What goes around comes around. Great song.

wow, less and less posts every day,

Why are they never satisfied, with and all you give?...

All the news today, they say we're crazyyyyy....

Say goodbye. ...Say goodbye.

A few days ago almost an entire page of comments was deleted and they want to force us to stick strictly to the topic. Without any light-hearted general discussion, the thread dies down as there's not a lot to debate anymore. But I'm not sure if it will ever die. No, when it went past 2000 pages and didn't get closed, I knew then that we're dealing with a thread on an entirely new level than we've ever seen.

There have been times when this thread only got 1 post a day or so. It will kick back soon.

I just hope that regardless of how busy this thread is or not this fraud will be exposed to the wider public someday. You never know what's around the corner. I'm sure the truth will come out someday. Maybe when the children are in charge of things they will go afyer the people responsible.

Let me give you something to discuss

from the source notes of Randall Sullivan's new book

Michael controversy: media (more below) and confidential sources close to Jackson family; in this instance I’m pretty sure the estate’s position was the true one—at least with regard to whether that was MJ’s voice or not.

I thought Sullivan only mentioned the songs in passing in the book?

This is not in the body of the book. the body of the book is a combination of the media stories. He mentions what Jackson's said, what teddy Riley said and what Estate has said in their statement. he mentions the controversy and leaves it at that. So there's nothing new or at value in regards to the authenticity issue in the body of the book.

Then he has a sources/references chapter at the end in which he mentions his sources for all the things he has written. in that references / sources chapter he says that in regards to the Michael album his sources was media and family and suddenly he adds that he believes Estate's position was correct. This is somewhat interesting that he doesn't have any Estate sources, his main sources are Anti-Estate people and he isn't friendly towards the Executors.

Judging by the direction of his book, that is to say complete garbage, I wouldn't trust anything he says. He certainly didn't get anything from the family regarding the songs.

The only people who would know anything about the songs (in terms of recording, writing or production) would be Eddie Cascio and James Porte. If they weren't listed sources in the book, then he knows nothing. If your only source is the media fodder every fan has heard and dealt with for the past two years, then you have no source. It's just hearsay.

His lack of knowledge on the very material he worked on is concerning. Slave was certainly not recorded in 89. And he's just falling back on the same excuse of Michael's voice changing while ignoring the fact that everything else recorded around the same time as the Cascio tracks sounds perfectly fine.

just like there was an article that mentioned fans complaining that KYHU had Earth Song in it, and he simply just INSISTED that it was Michael without answering the complaint.

Anyways some news which might not be good,
there is a "Michael Jackson 'breaking News' is Jason Malachi" facebook page, but the person who runs the page is inclined to believe it is Matthew Najar singing. Matthew sent some videos and tried convincing him and other fans that HE was singing. Now he wants to send this "info" to TMZ...
MZ HAVE CONTACTED US REGARDING OUR FINDINGS - IF ENOUGH ONLINE MOVEMENT IS GENERATED BY OUR FINDINGS THEY WILL REPORT ON US AND OUR EVIDENCE. THIS IS OUR CHANCE TO SET THINGS RIGHT - LET'S START THIS, LET'S GET ENOUGH ATTENTION AND GET TMZ
SUPPORTING US! SPREAD THE WORD!

--------------------------------------------------------------

CONFIRMED - THE SINGER ON THE 'MICHAEL' ALBUM (on the fake tracks) IS NOT JASON MALACHI. IT IS A SINGER FROM AUSTRALIA NAMED MATTHEW NAJAR. That's it, finally uncovered.

* Matthew Najar uploaded a video of him singing Breaking News perfec
t
ly, acapella, the week it was first released.
* Matthew Najar has since said he has worked with studios to produce MJ style tracks called 'reference tracks'
* This was confirmed by two LA studios
* In 2011 Matthew Najar did acapella recordings of every fake MJ track and uploaded them to Youtube (removed by Sony)
* Currently he uploaded a video of him demoing a Jason Malachi song which sounds exactly like the fake MJ vocals
* A few sources have messaged this page with evidence that MN is actually singing on the MJ album (fake tracks)

WE WILL BRING YOU MORE INFO AS IT COMES OUT. SPREAD THE WORD, THIS IS THE GUY!
Matthew can sing with a very high or low voice, and there was a video of him singing Jason's "Critical" and he sounds rather close to Jason, but still off. I believe the Breaking News video mentioned was a fake dub of Matthew miming to a down-pitched version of BN (as I saw this video and it was obviously faked).

I wouldn't trust anything he says either and as you realize it's just a personal opinion of his. Cascio's aren't a source for him , he hasn't even read Frank Cascio's book.

That being said Katherine, her lawyers Sanders and Ribiera and Katherine's partner Mann is all sources for the book. And I'm thinking that there's something out there - that we don't know - that stopped Jackson's from seeking any legal action in this regard. There was some unconfirmed rumors that Jacksons had their own test done. Perhaps that's it.

Anyway that was just to give you something to talk about as you were complaining for no one posting.

LOL; these people are nuts, do you know how long they've believed it's that Matthew? Almost ever since the BN stream.

IMO, it's just a great way for Matthew to get more promotion.

And regarding Tricky, I tweeted him HMH aca and stuff, but he didn't answer. Guy clearly has no clue or is lying his ass off.

Kudo's to doubters who tweeted him. Just read all tweets.

He can't say he never heard of Jason Malachi now. Doubters have tweeted him about that.

But why doesn't he adress the similarities? He can say something like: "Yes, they sound a bit alike, but...." or something like that.

I hope he listened to Jason's songs. It's the least he can do.

eta: Well, at least he answered some questions. That's a lot more than others do.
