The quality in TWYMMF is weird. It's really grainy in some parts.

Look at the quality from the HIStory DVD :

Yeah... in some parts it is. I'm a little disappointed. I thought the quality would be better with this release. But it's worse.
I also noticed on a couple of other videos a little white line at the top of the screen that lasts for the whole video, which is kinda annoying.
 
Mine came today, as had pre ordered with HMV. Only had the chance to watch one more chance so far! :D:wub:
Loving the booklet with colour pics, and the lenticular cover! :clapping:
 
For those in the UK who have pre-ordered it on Amazon using the Super Saver Delivery option, when should Vision arrive by the earliest?
 
I can't wait to go buy this on tuesday...I'm holding off on watching "one more chance" till i get the set :p
 
for TWYMMF it looks like they just made a little brighter.. therefore much easier to see each n every grain and inperfection..

Urgh.I'm now going to have to wait until next weekend to get it now as I lent my money to my husband so he could go & get iron maiden tickets this morning!
 
Anyone else have the screen flash green for about half a second during the In The Closet video? I just want to make sure it's not a fault with my DVD.
 
Mine arrived this morning and it's fantastic :wild:

Some of the videos are in great quality, some not so good (obviously the older videos arn't as HQ as his later one). But the packaging and the booklet are really nicely designed and put together. I'm watching on my Blu Ray player and some of them look gorgeous - RTT in particular :D

BOTDF is the remix video though, and not the album version. Seems odd :doh:

Shame Ghosts is the edit and not the full 30 minute version too... hopefully that is to follow on DVD (or BR :punk:) next year!

All in all it's definately on of MJs better collections :agree:
 
Just asked on the store here how much the box set will cost and its pretty expensive... does somebody knows how much the deliver will take if i order it now from MJ.com? like an apox.? please :)
 
So basically it's NOTHING better than the Dangerous short films DVD, HIStory DvD's in terms of quality?!!!!!


How nice..so not even the normal Blood on the dancefloor video and not even better quality, in other words..they didn't do SHIT to change anything about it, nowadays it shouldn't be too hard to make the videos better quality...i don't know about ya'll but this smells like 'Quick cash-in' to me.

I really would like to hear from other folks here how the quality is of all the videoclips. I already got the Dangerous and HIStory DVD. Just want to know if it's even worth getting.
 
got my copy of Vision, First of all the audio is brilliant compared to History and dangerous short films ,this is the one. I first watched some on vision and then the old DVD's and the sound is just wayyy better in "vision".

Picture quality is good and better than the others but some of the colors are way to colorized.
My biggest complaint is that most of the films are not full or widescreen I don't have NTSC TV only PAL it's like a big square but maybe the quality is better in this than watching t in full /widescreen. enjoy...:)

WTF...how can they NOT make a widescreen optimized DVD?!!! Are you serious that it's not full screen?
 
And I have a question If you have an NTSC TV, does it have full screen
Mine is not NTSC and the videos are not full or wide screen
 
I am serious the videos are not full screen except Rock my world , remember the time, and one more chance. I wanna know why.

I thougt it was remasterd ??? huh ... Quality looks not better then history dvd's... But i will buy it for my collection :)

A BLU RAY VERSION WAS MAYBE BETTER !! Watch moonwalker blu ray , the old videos are much clearer there ! ;)

Do you get a green flash during the In The Closet video on your dvd?
