This is exactly what I hate and why I've hesitated to pre-order. However, I'm inclined to believe that Amazon is selling the whole package, since it's pictured on their website.
 
from what ive seen and read there is only 1 edition of the dvd. they all come with the booklet etc. its justt that sony want to try and make more money so sell it at a more expensive price hoping ppl wil lbuy direct from the source instead of going ot hmv etc

Yes, I think only one version is going to come out, but what makes it deluxe and limited is that after the first pressings sell out, later pressings will probably scale back the artwork so it's cheaper to produce (no lenticular cover, maybe no book?). They do that with a lot of packaging that's expensive or tricky for them to make.

Hmm I also think that there will only be the deluxe edition for the first pressing, and there'll be a removal of the book and lenticular packaging on later pressings. And the cover art seen on some dutch site is not really a representative of the actual package, just something sony belgium/holland send out instead what other sony's have send out to the retailers.

What I do believe is that Belgium will have exactly the same edition, but indeed without "You Are Not Alone" video. So I call on belgian fans to massively boycot the sales of the boxset in belgium, and all buy from stores like amazon.co.uk and hmv UK. It'll be cheaper, because "Free Record Shop" has a price of 42 euro's, while amazon UK charges 18 pounds which is about 21 euro's, and what I suggest is that you get a cheap book to go with it (7 pounds minimum), because amazon UK offers free delivery to Belgium IF at least 1 book is in the delivery, AND the order is above 25 pounds, which will probably still be cheaper of having just the box set delivered, and you get a book to go with it. Just add one day to a normally 3 workdays delivery.
 
Amazon.de states in their product information that IT IS the deluxe edition, and it has the same ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) as the product of amazon.co.uk and amazon.com. So don't worry guys, it should really be the all-inclusive version regardless of where you order it from - at least in the beginning. :yes: I ordered mine from amazon.co.uk because that was the first place I checked and the price was more than nice. :)

However, now I noticed amazon.de says it's coming out on November 19th :scratch: Can that be possible?? Every other place that I've checked says release date will be the 22nd :unsure:
 
On Ginza.se it says 3 dvd and releasedate 19th november.
There´s no information att all about what we get on the dvds.

Sorry. It was either a 'senior' moment or wishful thinking, when I thought this dvd boxed set was released on Frid 22nd Oct! Sorry, my mistake.
Monday :timer::ermm: 22nd November it is. :doh: Only stupidly realised when last friday came and went and no boxed set.

I can only answer your second question.. CMG stands for (Sony) Commercial Music Group. :)

Sony Commercial Music Group is part of Sony Music UK which is owned by Sony Corporation of America.

Sony Legacy is responsible for the release in the States and Sony Commercial Music Group is responsible for the release in the UK. Simple as that ;)
 
I'll buy this then I'll buy the eventual/inevitable blu-ray. Cheers.
 
i would have thought promotion would have been a lil better. I barely know anyone who knows this is coming out.
 
If the CD comes out this year too, the promotion will be HUGE!

So people will know about Vision no doubt.

Ha, Ha, so funny. It reminds me of the time my brother told me the world would end on Saturday. I woke up on the Saturday and sat outside waiting for the world to end.

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon too and hope I am getting everything. By the way guys, what happened to the poster we were supposed to get from Amazon/Sony when we ordered the TII discs? I hope there are no tricks this time.
 
Sony didn't reply yet; what must I do?

I can't see any choice/button to cancel order on website?
