Michael Jackson's Vision' DVD Boxed Set Available Everywhere Monday November 22

Nothing is known about the quality of the videos, right? Cause i have the Dangerous short films DVD and also HIStory Greatest Hits, and the quality on those ain't nothing to write home about.

Same thing about the Number Ones DVD (only DVD I have of MJ's).

The key word here is "meticulously" which means extremely careful which is a good thing because they took their time with that.

DVDs still sell much more in America than Blue Ray. Period. In my country almost no one has Blue Ray. Most people do not even know what is a Blue Ray.

Stop sabotaging Michael Jackson. Randy Jackson and the rest of the family do it for you.

I understand we all have our opinions and we have the right to speak when we do not like something. But we're talking about a DVD that has almost everything that the fans said that wanted before the announcement.

If you do not like it, go away from here.

We do not need more drama queens.

PS: SORRY if I'm being rude. I saw exactly the same thing happening with Invincible and several other projects of Michael Jackson. Complaint and complaint. We're fans. It's time to act like fans. If there's nothing to talk about, go read a book.

:clapping::clapping::clapping: Amen to this! Thank you! People should be very happy to have all these videos on one set. To be able to watch Speed Demon and Come Together without having to have Moonwalker and find it on there. Also, living in the US, it's a bootleg copy since the real thing has never been sold here. I'm excited just for that! Then to get a new video too. This is very exciting, and Sony actually did something right, IMO. :punk:

It's just an upscale from Enhanced Definition Betamax (that's the best master Sony can send to TV stations and which is like DVD quality), that's all!

Also, please note:
Full DVD quality is NOT(!) crappy at all.
It's just that most DVDs in the past only provided VHS to DVD transfers with VHS quality.
Look at the STAR WARS movies on DVD, that's what is possible with DVD and that's what DVD quality actually looks like.

Most Blu-rays of older movies (e.g. "Moonwalker") nowadays show you the full DVD quality - on a Blu-ray!
Yeah, "Moonwalker" is NOT(!) HD, it's actually upscaled from what you would call full DVD quality whereas the DVD only provided digitalized VHS quality back then.

It is fake. They used this remix that has been floating around MJ boards for a few years now. The guy who made it used to have an account at MJ Remix.

aww I bought not long time ago HIStory I-II and Dangerous DVD's again but I will definitely buy this one too to my collection. I cant wait to see One More Chance videoclip..I know it will also be hard to watch but I'm very curious to see it. I hope the full movie of Ghosts will be released on DVD soon!
 
I just found out that there will be a Belgian version of The Vision Box Set
And get this, You are not alone' will not be on the DVD because a belgian componer used to sue Michael saying that the song was his music.
I am from Belgium so I have to buy this box-set without 'you are not alone' on it and the reason I buy this DVD is because of ALL the films collected. And they cut You are not alone out, that's so stupid :(

They can't be serious! Of course you can always buy it online and get the normal version, but that sounds really, really weird.. :doh:
 
Hi guys I did already order from Sony website; says deluxe box set (includes 60 pages booklet) But I saw on amazon and looks cheaper. But I don't know that amazon sels deluxe one!??! Anyone knows!? If amazon sells deluxe one (limited edition), I'll cancel from SONY. Please help!?

there is some mess with prices for the box set. I ordered my copy on hmv uk, for £17.99, but after seeing other, more expensive releases I emailed them, if they're selling regular or deluxe edition. I got this:

So much going on and less than a month until this is out!

- I can't believe they're taking off the You Are Not Alone video in some places!! I wonder if Sony could have paid extra to include it and chose not to. :(

- The more I think about it the more I wish Captain EO were included but I'm still happy with the selection that's included. I might be the most excited about the prison version of They Don't Care About Us. I always thought it was the better video!

That's not true! This is an official remix released by Sony as recently as last year on the Deluxe Edition of the King Of Pop CD. The remix was included on the original 12" single release and was a hit in the UK and in US clubs almost 20 years ago. It was also on the other side of the Remember The Time single in the US.

- I can't wait to see She's Out Of My Life in perfect quality with the other two Off The Wall era videos. It's not a very exciting video but up to now very rare and will be nice to have!

- I'm confused about Black Or White and Bad and some of the other long videos that have appeared on DVD several times now. Sometime the press info makes it sound like they've never been seen before when they're been on DVD since the nineties LOL (and video and laserdisc before that.)

- I know he's had a lot of greatest hits discs released in the past 10 years, but I think it's time to put out a 'meticulous' (word of the day, lol) multi-disc set with **every** single in order of release to complement Vision so casual fans have the opportunity to appreciate the music the same way they will the videos.

Okay, shutting up now. :D
 
Ive just realised something: this is the first time EVER we have a performance of the Bad Tour second leg on DVD! :) :)

I know, they leave one video out and the rest stays. Not funny at all because I have to buy mine in Belgium. I am not ordering it, don't have visa
 
I'm confused about the versions again? Why do they always have to release ridiculous amounts of versions? It's just frickin confusing!
 
Yeah, puts me off pre-ordering because I wanna see whats what first.
