How could that bitch hurt Michael like that?! She knew how badly he wanted to be a daddy! That cow! What would her father say if he saw how shameful his daughter had acted?!
 
if she was worried about a custody battle, perhaps she had a reason to think that he would want the kids 100% in the event of divorce, like what happened with Debbie. Debbie was ok with it, if Lisa was not ok with it then i understand why she would hold off on having kids. You never know, maybe custody after seperation wasn't discussed before marriage, that is why she wanted kids too. But the thought of not being in her kids life should something go wrong would be unbearable, i wouldn't have kids either.

anyway, we don't know their reasons, that is just a scenario that could have happened given what went down with debbie pretty soon after.

Relationships are hard at the best of times, they did their best.

I really don't believe Mike would have told LMP: 'Kick rocks, you can't see our kids ever.' As for Debbie, that happened afterwards. Thus Lisa wouldn't have that to draw from. Look up Debbie's statements on the matter. Different situation.
 
Just because Lisa didn't want to have children with Michael right away does not mean that she did not want to have children with him eventually. Maybe Lisa wanted them to be a couple for a bit before having kids.
 
why would lisa think of it that way in the first place? "oh i'm not having his kids because theres gonna be a custody battle." wat the heck?! was she already thinking up of breaking up with him right when she married him??

A solid pre-nuptual agreement would've calmed all her fears.

Hell, they even could've had a post-nuptual agreement (they do exist).

They did have a pre-nup! It was mentioned on the Diane Sawyer interview. So that excuse to me is some old B.S. There might be another reason in addition to that one; perhaps family influence? Or it could just be as KOP said; LMP wanted to wait. But she knew he wanted to have kids (and probably didn't want to wait years) when she married him so I don't know about that reason. If she wanted to wait, she could have told him that in those many phone convos they had.

i am saying that perhaps michael tried to come up with the same sort of deal with lisa, not that lisa saw what happened with debbie and was scared.

we don't know. Someone else posted that she didn't want kids because she was scared of the custody battle should they split. If she wasn't happy with what was on offer she may have been holding off on having kids. I wouldn't want kids if there was the potential that someone else would have custody of them, the occasional visit for me would not be enough.

it makes sense that michael, in the event of a seperation, would want to have custody of the kids, if lisa wanted the same then it would be hard to come up with a solution.

they may not have discussed the details before marriage, but once married and planning a family perhaps they couldn't come to an agreement. Nothing is clear cut in life, there are many hurdles, hiccups and problems to consider.
 
I have to say, I myself don't know what happened, in reference to Lisa not wanting to have Michael's childern. Yet I do know that I would have a hell of a hard time saying 'no' to Michael. However, that's just me, not Lisa. She had her reasons and I guess we'll never know...and perhaps it's best to let sleeping dogs lay.

They both jumped in too quickly, but it's obvious from Lisa's tears, that the man had a huge impact on not only her life, but heart as well.

I know what you mean. She even called him the biggest mistake of her life back in 2003. I don't feel sorry for her at all.
 
What is up with all this "poor lisa" crap?!! She had a chance with him. Sometimes in life you only get ONE chance. I don't blame Michael for not taking her back. How do you think he felt when she broke her promise?? yeah, not very good.
 
that's one way to look at it, but life isn't that clear cut. Just because she had her chance doesn't mean she should do so at a personal cost to herself. I don't know the facts. But i'm sure it wasn't as easy as you make it out to be.
 
you know some people seem to think that if you are able to get into michaels inner sanctum you should be forever greatful and do anything possible to stay there, even if its not what you want, but then hate on the "yes" men, the people who do just that, anything to stay close to the man. make up your minds.
 
Lisa is crazy, I have no sympathy for her at all, sometimes I wonder if she ever really loved him. Some of you might disagree, but I don't think she did.

I agree with you. Having children is a very important, personal thing. Yes, she shouldn't have promised Michael it would be the first thing they would do and then go back on it, but if you have any doubts whatsoever it's best not to bring a child into the situation. At the end of it all, the child is the most important thing here, whether you're married to Michael Jackson or the guy next door. Unless you know her reasons it's not fair to judge. Maybe she wanted kids with him, but not for a year or two, and Michael seemed to be fairly impatient to have children. I dunno, just speculating I suppose.

It is completely unfair to judge Lisa Marie though, I mean who here has any clue about what went on, really?
 
If she was a good wife and a good mother in his life then he might still be alive, what’s the point of marriage without kids, if you are able to have kids then you should because this is the greatest gift in life and sometimes some women forget why God created them.

If I was in a relationship with Michael, I would have kepted my promise after we married and bore him Children because I really loved him. It would depend on how long they would have been married. When you Marry someone ,it's for life. For Richer or Pooer. In Sickness and in Health. You don't get married for convience, It doesn't work. Love is The Answer,Love is the key and where there's not any love in a relationship. If some one is playing with your head, Someone will be taken advantage of. I felt Michael got shafted. He put his whole heart into a relationship with certain women that he desired just to get burned.No wonder he didn't trust certain women. What I still didn't figureout was why they stayed in two different places.Michael living at oneplace and Lisa or Debbie in another while being in the Marriage ?

the point was a musical career, he didn't help her so it was bye-bye
she never wanted kids with MJ anyway...in the Playboy interview she says she "got out of it", she fooled him for months on end, this comes from a woman who said multiple times that if there's one thing she really wants to do in life that is to have more kids, which she did
so she always wanted more kids, just not with MJ...for Lisa he was this stupid little boy who happened to have this phenomenal success and enormous fortune and who could help her with a career so she used him. she also wanted to take a free ride and see what it's like to be married to someone "bigger than her", she gave this explanation as to why she married him more than one time. she keeps on forgetting to mention how their first meeting was about her demo tapes and how he offered to help her, in the Oprah interview she said SHE made him a favor by agreeing to show him her demo tapes, does that even make sense to you?
we all know how incredibly naive MJ was and Lisa used him. Michael didn't know anything about people! and he never knew how to defend himself he always let others trample all over him
