Joseph himself states he got whatever he got thru Katherine while MJ was living Michael never cut him a check, according to his own old ass. Katherine should continue to share the 100k she gets with Joseph or he should go begging to Janet after all the woman is multimillionaire so I dont see the problem of her giving her daddy dearest some money. U either have to be a leech or desperate, immoral or really really greedy and/or a combination of all these things to continue to go after the dead despite the fact that a dozen of people are still leaching, its not like old Joseph doesn't have another mulimillionaire child who is ALive and healthy in family along with a dozen of middle aged children

Michael supported, gave money to Katherine because he had a DEEP LOVE for her. Katherine DID WHAT SHE WELL UNDERSTOOD with the money she earned from Michael. If now, she DOES NOT want to share with Joe. Go complain to Katherine.

I would agree with this more if Joe was this great caring man who has done nothing but look out for his son. But when you Look at his buddy Leonard Rowe and his lawyer Brian Oxman comments towards Joe's own son, it just makes you lose any respect you had for the man.

Joe Jackson being deposed, should be very interesting. Lord knows expressing one's self is NOT Joe Jackson's strong suit.

(I remember during the BET awards, when he was announcing his new record company, he couldn't even express himself properly and had to pull that "other" dude up there to explain it for him.)

And the fact that he has to be deposed is equal to BEGGING in my opinion. What happen to Randy and Jermaine's constant claims of FAMILY UNITY. Where is that FAMILY UNITY now? Seems like they would ALL get together and collectively take care of their father so that he would not have to BEG the estate for money that Michael did not leave him in the first place.

I also must admit that it's hard to feel any sympathy for Joe Jackson when you look at his list of expenses, let's see:

Travel;
Hotels;
Eating Out;
Money for his daughter;
Money for his granddaughter:

Money for that "other" dude (assistant #2).

In my opinion, Joe Jackson just wants to live like a ROCK STAR! He is trying to recapture those days when the Jackson-5 were big and his was their manager.

Joe doesn't deserves an allowance but he has a right to ask for one if he has been dependent on michael. Yes he has other survivng kids but Michael's estate is with so much and i doubt there will be a major set back if they give joe something, there was a statement months back that said katherine doesn't have a problem with joe asking either so what some fans feel doesn't matter. Saying that it doesn't matter if he gets an allowance doesn't mean you agree with all of joe's actions but he was his father .Yes joe is greedy and he did horrible things but michael forgave him in a beautiful speech.

Word. One would think the ppl would leave the man alone now and get some dignity and humility and pay for their life expenses themselves or go begging the other LIVING multimillionaire. But I guess there is just a general lack of dignity and humility when it comes to some people. depositions happen before the court dates. Like I said they are for discovery, evidence and information gathering. Seeing the news story (see below) it looks like the hearing is postponed till August. (or at the May hearing they can ask it to be postponed until after the deposition - we'll see)

According to documents filed earlier this week, Joe will sit down with Michael's attorney at a date to be determined "between June 1, 2010 and July 1, 2010." Both sides will then go back to court some time after August 1.

What I still cant understand regarding JOE is the reason why it must be michael footing his bills,Michael's estate have a bigger responsibility[3 kids,katherine,settling of debts] than his millionaire daughter and I wonder why she cant foot his bills.
