Michael Jackson v. Wade Robson, a new trial to be held

When you think about all the examinations Wade would have faced in the trial there are only two scenarios - he's either the world's greatest liar, or he's just a bad liar. For him not to slip up in court, he'd have to be a great liar. But all evidence suggests to me he's just a bad liar, remembering things that dont even make sense in places that didn't even exist. These two videos above further put me back on the innocent train firmly. I was always there but I often do like to dissect both sides of a story.

Shame Buffalo had to be blocked. I think this should be a place of open discourse.

I am pretty sure you would be happy with him gone if you had read the things he wrote. First he tried to claim he was a fan, but on the fence about everything, but the stuff he said later on clearly started to show his agenda. Until he basically just went bat shit crazy, started name calling and insulting us here and insulting MJ in all the ways you can imagine a real hater would do.

No, we are MUCH better off without such people. It turned out to be someone that was just here to pretend he was a fan and all the while he was nothing but a hater, a rather sad individual to be honest, who has a lot to learn about life yet.

Do you still think Buffalo should have been left to agitate in the thread after seeing the following post he made? He also threatened to "beat the shit out of" one our membesr, that goes way beyond a place for "open discourse", dont you think? Physical threats of violence should never be allowed.

Hmm... yeah that's a fair outburst. I find it hard to believe that he really thinks any of those things though. Would he really have joined the group and have been here for nine months, generally playing along and playing nicely with everyone, only to actually harbour those thoughts? I kinda don't think so. I think he was feeling some kind of way about the reception he was getting so he tried to trigger some people on his way out.

And yeah, deserves blocking for those statements but I think things only went there because debate was generally being shouted down. But once a line is crossed, it's crossed.

What do you mean “shouted down”?

Well I honestly just think the man was 'having a moment' grappling with just what to think about everything, and rather than I guess accepting that some people are going to have that process with this thing, a lot of people just told him he is wrong and then accused him of not being a fan. People have a right to question these things. Sure, people don't have to sit there and agree but when you start questioning whether they're a fan when they know they've spent their life following him, it can actually be quite irritating. I do sometimes question these things myself but I always come back around to just how flawed every argument against him is. Buffalo was probably going to do the same thing. I think it is totally okay to say as a Michael Jackson fan that you are uneasy with his behaviour with kids without being ostracized, because you know what, most people ARE uncomfortable with the finer details of Michael's special friendships with kids. They are not the 'done thing' in our society. As fans we give him the benefit of the doubt given his upbringing, lifestyle and the complete lack of reliable evidence and his being exonerated but I'd be lying if I said that the whole situation didn't make me cringe deeply.

This is not debate, this is trolling/baiting/agitating.

He constantly was baiting and repeating stuff how MJ had an obsession with children how he shared intimate moments with kids, how kids looked in love with him in photos etc. After a few days I concluded the member was deliberately creating drama and repeating himself over and over again just to piss people off.

I am all for open debate but when threats are used, the same dude saying Elvis is better and prettier than MJ etc. Its a tough time for all of us, we dont need obvious trolls that spend days riling up other board members. He ignored every answer and just kept on throwing one liners that could be taken directly from a hater site.

I have never called for anyone to be banned or suspended before, but I did this time.

This forum has been great through the years and also I think its great people can freely debate as long as its civil and constructive debate and not serious trolling.

He was not shouted down, he got exactly what he deserved, it was Buffalo that took things to the next level of insults etc with his baiting, and then we/some posters responded in the same manner and the he flipped completely. Nobody else changed tune like that and started threatening people and going ballistic. If a person becomes nasty like that over some arguments, then thats a major red flag.

I support the banning of him 100% and I also want open debate to be encouraged and protected, but Buffalo crossed all kind of boundaries and barely contributed anything to debate but throwing the same one liners. Like from the blue declaring "Well, being called a child molester is not very good, right"

If he had been allowed to keep harassing other board members we would have risked losing other long time members from this board also.

He may have denied any abuse during 2005 trial but 2019 and he's singing like a canary about all the trauma he and Safechuck have endured.

I won't lie, I'm very worried about this potential trial. You can butter it up anyway you like but if they win - MJ is guilty

Let's hope this is dismissed quickly

Okay so this is his first comment on the thread. It is interesting what led from that to his last message. And I can only say from what I personally saw, people were getting pretty uppity at any questioning of the established narrative that we tend to have on the board, and so he snapped and said things that were inappropriate. I don't think this was a hater or someone pretending to be a fan. I think this is someone who turned to trolling when he felt that reasonable discussion wasn't being had, or that his views weren't being respected (right or wrong).

He clearly have no place in this community. He broke against most of the forum guidelines, for example. And it’s not just in this thread, either.

Do mods have the power to ban a user, or is it only Gaz?

I ask because when we questioned that obvious troll, posts got deleted, letting them carry on spouting pure BS, rather than actually address the problem and block the user?

He wasn’t interested in a discussion. I don’t think I’ve seen anything ‘unreasonable’ in this thread outside of his posts.

My friend who's also a hardcore MJ fan and supporter was shocked to hear about the low burden of proof thing, but since there is no evidence he's not worried.

It's honestly crazy to me that it might even be going to trial on the first place, after all the lying, changing up his story, proof of it too. The other day I posted a tweet here were it was proven that MJ was barely around at Neverland when Wade and Joy were there, he didn't even want to hang around them all that much. Plus all that time MJ was not around, this is when Wade claims he was abused all the time. Surely the judge/jury will see how utterly ridiculous, let alone impossible that is?

It has not yet been officially confirmed that it will go to court, it has only been reported by tmz

I know, that's why I said might go to trial. :)

I'm just always preparing for the worst, especially seeing with the luck this guy has been having so far. I can totally see it.
Maybe the case will be dismissed due to its legal problematic: one of the lawyers on Court TV (the link I posted today) said that it's legally bad news and sets a dangerous precedent for suing companies of dead people that are not able to defend themselves.

He clearly violated multiple rules of the forum, including being aggressive towards other members, being disrespectful of Michael. That is what he was banned. The forum is place for open discussion, but rules of mutual respect and respect for Michael still apply.

Can you stop playing devil's advocate please? Unless you're an alt of his, which wouldn't be surprising at all

It doesn't matter what his intention was, if he had an outburst or whatever you said, none of that excused his shitty and aggressive behaviour that he had over the course of 9 months in this forum.

He's banned, it's over, move on.

That would be fantastic news, it really should indeed be dismissed. It's absurd.

Please stay on the topic guys this thread is about:

"Michael Jackson v. Wade Robson, a new trial to be held"

Maybe you can start a new one on cancel culture or whatever?

I am going to cleanup this thread again. Please stay in topic. Please report any violations.
Open discussion is always allowed, but disrespect towards each other or disrespect towards Michael are not allowed.
