People, if you don't own this book and haven't read it, I encourage you to. It is amazing. Lovely poems, cleverly written, VERY Michael. There are also some lovely pictures in there.

You can get it for a very very nice price in a few London bookstores like Borders and Foyles. I'm going to London on the 30th..and i will get both this book and In the studio with MJ.

I'm not saying the kids should not get as much cash as possible but the way that is worded 'if' it is true is so crass

I've had mine next to me on my bedside table since it happened :( Keep reading bits and feeling so sad for him :( The first page I flicked to after he died had the following paragraph and freaked me out just a little:
'Often in the past performers have been tragic figures. A lot of the truly great people have suffered or died because of pressure and drugs, especially liquor. It's so sad. You feel cheated as a fan that you didn't get to watch them evolve as they grew older. One can't help wondering what performances Marilyn Monroe would have put in or what Jimi Hendrix might have done in the 1980s." - pg 229 of Moon Walk

Right after I read that on the night of the 25th I phoned my friend and read it to her, we both just said how poignant that paragraph that he wrote back then is now.

I'm glad it's being reprinted. I never got the chance to buy it and I want a copy SO badly!

I hope "Dancing the dream" gets reprinted as well.

Cool, I have it already but it's in storage with my mums stuff because she moved abroad. :doh: I've been really eager to read it again for ages now.

I've actually never read his book, and the price for the used ones are up to $100 so this will be great for me.

i remember a passage in the book where he's talking about Elvis and says something along the lines of how he hopes that he doesnt end up like him :(

I can't believe these jackasses... amazon.com has 2 copies for $1925.00 and 12 for $350. Can you believe it? Bloody hell! :no:

Then a favorite place of mine to get books online alibris.com is on the same bandwagon but it's CHEAP there, only $211. Ridiculous.

I'm hoping that with the republishing this will be available soon on amazon or buy.com or even in bookstores... since they seem to be hell bent on getting this thing out soon, I'm pretty sure we'll be able to get it here in the US soon. play.com does ship internationally, but the cost of the shipping costs more than the book... :(

Agreed. But since we have no choice, I'd rather get whatever they're putting out. I was 4 when the book came out so I never got to buy a copy. I'd rather have "the estate" profiting rather than people selling it on ebay, making hundreds of dollars in profit.

Dancing the Dream - is there anywhere else it can be ordered from aside from play.com? They don't ship overseas.

Why is it only available for pre-order on play.com? Surely it's not only being reprinted for the UK?
