Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

I dunno. I am so sick of LMP and her fake show of emotion, it isn't even funny. Maybe she will shock everyone and say something completely different - and not about her supposed "grief" over losing MJ. She's a fake, a phony and is a blood-sucker. She's blood-sucking off MJ even after he died. She's despicable.

Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

To me it seemed like Lisa always had trouble getting over Mike. '

lol The truth is that millions of female fans cannot get over MJ/boyfriend either. Lisa is no different from this point of view. She just was a lucky one who had a chance to get married him for 18 months. LOL
For her doing that show almost like saying: Hey, bunch of losers I was his wife!
This show is just like a little reminder for everybody lol

Topflux, would you please stop defending Lisa Marie Presely at the expense of Michael?

I'm not delussional. I know Michael misused Propofol. But, it doesn't make him a drug addict like Elvis Presley. To me, the Elvis parallel is BS. Unlike Elvis, Michael died in a dignified manner with a doctor at his side. In case you don't know, Michael is not died from drug overdose. His death is ruled a homicide. Conrad Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Even it's true that Michael thought he would have similar fate as Elvis and told Lisa just that in the mid 90's. You don't think he'd have changed his belief after becoming a father? You think he had no desire to see Prince, Paris and Blanket growing up and blossoming? You think he has no desire to walk Paris down the aisle?

No, Michael didn't only have minor disease. He had MAJOR health issues most of his life. He suffered from a serious second degree burn, lupus and vitiligo. He tried his best to take care of himself while sharing his God-given talents to his fans. Michael had dealt with all the adversities the best he could. If Michael was a lesser man and behaved more selfishly, we wouldn't have BAD, Dangerous, HIStory or Invincible. He could have retired from the entertainment industry not in his 40's, but in his 20's. He could have lived comfortably and collected music royalties the rest of his life.

None of us is in the position to say whether it's right or not for him to accept to perform at O2. You think he didn't want to show the world and his children what he still had and what a phenonemal performer he was? If Michael believed he could perform, then I believed in him. I have faith in him.

Again, I'm not hateful toward Lisa Marie Presley. I don't care about her. I love Michael, but it doesn't mean I have to love his ex-wife 15 years ago. I don't feel the need to defend her action neither. I don't know her and never talk to her in person. I have no idea whether she's a nice person or not. To be honest, the only things I know about her are that she's Elvis Presley's daughter and Michael Jackson's ex-wife. She hasn't really done anything in her life that worths my attention. She's a grown up. If she wants to go to Oprah to talk about her ex-husband 15 years ago, it's her right to do so. All I wish is that she can be fair, respectful and honest.

Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

It's really sad if some fans feel having vitiligo is a minor problem. You really need to walk in the victims shoes to understand the kind of emotional trauma they go through and the lifestyle changes they have to make.

can you just imagine seeing your skin change colour in patches, you look in the mirror and see a leopard like skin and the saddest aspect is that it has no cure and there is really nothing you can do about it.Most people affected lose their confidence, suffer from depression and some even have other autoimmune condtion like Hashimoto thyrioditis, pernicious anemia ,insulin dependent diabetes or lupus.
It's a very traumatising condition and I wouldnt wish it on my enemy.
I commend MJ for coping with it under the media spotlight and not it losing despite people not believing he had vitiligo. It must have been very tough for him.

Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

so oprah and lisa are related in some sort? from an interview in people magazine they ask oprah who would she have loved to interview and she said elvis who is her distant cousin

That's why I'm angry when I read things like "he should have done this", "he shouldn't have done that", etc...

Can we all try to understand him before judging him?

Can we all imagine how it's like to have such a horrible disfiguring disease in front of the whole world? To make matter worse, the public (even his fans) didn't show compassion to him, but to ridicule him. And he's such a shy and insecure person to begin with.

Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

i think every one knows which direction this interview headed.she is going to talk about similarity between her DAD AND MJ.
we all know how elvis died drug overdose by himself,so those who are thinking that it is going to positive ,my advice don't hold ur breath.
Well, once asked Lisa said she never saw him abusing drugs.
The blog in which she compared Michael's passing with her father's was written one day after his death. We didn't know then under which circumstances MJ passed. And she didn't say he was an addict.

I dunno. I am so sick of LMP and her fake show of emotion, it isn't even funny. Maybe she will shock everyone and say something completely different - and not about her supposed "grief" over losing MJ. She's a fake, a phony and is a blood-sucker. In my opinion, this post is rather despicable, just unfair and disrespectful toward Lisa and Michael.
How do you know she and her emotions are faked?!
She loved him and still loves him. He was everything for her. So why do some people deny her the right to grieve? She was closer to him than any of us. No one knows what went on between them. So no one has the right to judge Lisa or Michael.

Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

That's why it would have been better for Michael's own health and personal life just to retire when he was around 40 years old. I don't mean he was losing his abilities, that was not the case. But the health should come first.

Just a thought on mine - I think music and touring are not one and the same. He should have stop not his music creativity but only touring. But because people in industry are narrow minded, Mike was stopped to do it. He was valued only by Thriller and some old works and tours. The incredible composer and singer that he was, was very disregarded. Also he was adviced by everyone to return only by touring, as in being the only solution. Buls*hit! For a genius as Mike there were many ways for him to return and shine.

But tragedies happens when you are surrounded by evildoers and mediocrities...

I also do not believe the 'druggie' stories... Mike got his chronic diseases and pains, his insomnia that got worse after physical effort and too much work....
And people that do not care about his well being only money, cold business. I might venture even more and said he was murdered. This is my belief, and I know there are many that do not like to here this... for that I am sorry.... but yeah, that's how I feel.

just a thought of MINE... from the last few posts i have read of yours you seem to think like a hater and write like one. I for one am glad Michael has/had a stong urge to write music and record it. It was his own personal outlet to vent when no one would listen to him so... Take your hater opinions and go to my iggy box i dont wanna see your posts again... TA

Lisa Marie is nit his widow. Go away.

Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

Well... after all that's been said and done here, I just can't but wonder if the "almighty Lady Oprah", such an important and perfect person in some little world, would have to courage to ask LMP why on earth she spoke about Michael the way she kept doing until June 2009.

And why she suddenly changed her speech.

LMP thinks she is such a brave girl... now... answering that would be really brave. Answering in all honesty, that is

Talking about the reasons why "she" left Michael? As far as I know, she has talked about that in most of the interviews she's done in the last... say... 15 years? I lost count, really

For she has nothing else to talk about. It's gotta be really difficult, you know. First, everyone would want to talk to you because of your father. And then, only because of your ex-husband. Or both...geeeezzzz

But most of all, a real brave and decent person would have the courage to recognize openly and in front of the camara s/he so much loves what s/he did to Michael Jackson in life. Not just on a blog. If you had the nerve to talk so bad and so many times AGAINST Michael Jackson as Oprah has done, then she would get a bit of respect recognizing she did wrong. Or at least recognizing what she did.

I wish Ms. Jackson would ask Oprah that, in front of the camera: "Why, Oprah? Why Michael? Why for so long, why this hard and why this way? Why MICHAEL??".

And I wish LMP was asked too why she kept making fun of MJ's feelings when she talked about their relationship. Of course, most people have been with a girl/love and later in our lives we ask "What was I thinking????" All of us have done so!! But we don't go making that nationwide (worldwide), even after 15 years and other 3 new husbands :mello:

Love Is Magical, I love your posts. Thank you for supporting Michael on a Michael Jackson board--Isn't this ironic?

Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

Whatever Mrs Lockwood say it's not important. She's hasn't been close to MJ in over 15 years. She had no clue what was going on in his life, and according to her she detached herself and wanted nothing to do with him. What I don't understand is why she feels the need to now talk about MJ since he's gone? There is nothing to clarify because he hasn't said a word about her in over 13 years. It's not like the media is knocking down her door to ask her questions about him, so why would she even do this interview? She said what she needed to say in her blog and that should've been the end of it.

So what does she need to explain? the sunflowers, the visits to his tomb? I am just really confused as to why she wants to talk about this

No, that's what MJ boards are all about, aren't they?
I think it's sometimes we support him in some... well... totally unexpected and difficult to understand way :mello:

Maybe they just need the money and the attention.
I mean, honestly: that's the ONLY motive for Oprah, for she clearly is not and has never been on MJ's side at all. It's clear Oprah would do what it takes. Just think of the "incredible" or "unexepected" or "surprising" offer from MJ that the author of Harry Potter didn't accept... and how Oprah used that line to have people watching her show.

So.... she talks about "integrity"? Now, that's really a funny way to remain loyal to your beliefs. She keeps talking crap about MJ for years and then she makes a "tribute"? And that turned out to be nothing but a reminder of the accusations.

What really gets me upset is the fact that this is the same woman who clearly doesn't care about Michael and yet, she has no regrets to use and abuse his name time after time to get herself even more money and attention.... agggggggggggg

Yes that's Oprah's intention but what exactly is LMP's reason? Is she trying to promote a potential album?

wouldnt surprise me! Everytime i hear or see lisa marie on the tv shes always seems to promoting a new album and using mjs name to promote it

Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

in the end she gets what she wanted. Free promotion, Using Michael and a crappy album no one wants.

You didn't understand I meant retiring from touring and dancing, not from the music. If people hadn't pressured him about touring, he wouldn't have done i.e. O2. But Michael was like when something was started it should have been ended 100% and perfectly. But he hinted in many public interviews himself what dreams he had still and what he would like to do and touring or massive performing wasn't included.. He had seen it all.

that's what I'm thinking.. The need for attention.. Since the US doesn't care that she moved to London, maybe she wants to promote herself by showing her house and family and letting folks know she's in London because she hates LA ( LOL...) Who knows, but I find it strange that she would now want to discuss MJ but when he was living she acted embarrassed and disgusted and didn't want to mention his name.

Re: LMP Back on Oprah This Thursday

So much negativity, and i don't understand it really. Have we all forgotten her big blog message after his death, where she wrote about Michael? How she was sorry about alot of things, that stuff came from the heart, that was obvious to me.

Nobody considered the possibility that Lisa actually wants to clear up lies and nonsense and thats why she goes to Oprah? Finally wanting justice for Michael? All i see here is people saying that she probably wants attention and wants to promote an album of hers...who knows, anything can happen. But i doubt it...really doubt it.

That blog message really meant something, that wasn't no nonsense, that was good intentions and true regret, i believe that. I think she wants to talk about Michael in a good way,, the truth. The crowd of Oprah are most of the time those typical 'housewife' types who believe everything that the media says, brainwashed as hell....maybe Lisa can actually talk some sense into them....maybe THAT is her intention. I really hope so.

Topflux can present some documents to show Michael gave you a reason as to why he chose to perform at the O2? I do not mean opinions from the media or people on TV. I want real facts. This will help me to understand your post better.

Unfortunately,

I didn't find her blog to be sincere. She said way too many damaging things over the years for that blog to be sincere. I found it rather fake and self-serving myself, and I don't trust her at all talking to Oprah about Mike. Her blog should've been enough, there is no need to talk about MJ to Oprah
