Jermaine Writing Book On Life With MJ *Book To Be Released Sept 13*

So, Jermane goes back and forth with how Michaels health was...'

jermjackson5 Jermaine Jackson
@KarlaJorge Michael was ripped at TII announcement, not an ounce of fat. Had a six-pack. Been dancing 4hrs a day. Athletically 'skinny'

jermjackson5 Jermaine Jackson
@KarlaJorge it's subjective. To me, he was no skinnier than before and he looked what was his 'healthy' (in eyes and spirit as well as abs)

jermjackson5 Jermaine Jackson
@KarlaJorge I say in book, Michael was working himself damn hard for comeback. Not unusual for him to sweat inches off waist when going hard

.... and then Karen Faye

@CaayCee: @wingheart Hi Karen. Are you a source of Jermaines book? Many ppl are saying that bcz he describes the TII rehearsals the same way u did

wingheart Karen Faye: Not sure. I did have long discussions with most of the members of the Jackson family. I answered all of their questions to the best of my ability. Jermaine knows many others involved in TII.

I really like the last picture of everyone. They should value this picture. Blanket is cute.

Thanks Ivy for the updates. Very much appreciated.

I would have loved to been a fly on that wall when he had to talk to Michael about the song. I am surprised LA Reid and Babyface wrote that. I thought they repsected Michael. I agree that even though he didn't write it he still sang the song. They are always saying that people kept them away from Michael yet others had no problem spending time with him. I don't know what to believe about that.

Is the book flying off the shelves?!:D

The signing session in London seemed to go well. Difficult to tell because a lot of buyers order online now.
I understand there will be perhaps a couple of special editions...J was tweeting about a limited edition cover that has an MJ poster on the inside (to be released in November) and something about a 'box set'...but of what I am not sure.

Remember, even the Casico(sp) acknowledge that Michael always had problems sleeping at night and his bodyguards called him a night owl
The mommy Cascio said that she kept a relaxed home and Michael had no problems sleeping there.

They said more specially that they knew he had problems sleeping and they kept a relaxing environment so he could sleep. Which meant that Michael had trouble sleeping in his everyday life, not just rehearsing and touring. Which was my point I was trying to make.

Sorry for not being more detail on this issue.

OK Ramona.

I like the pictures so far. Has any of the writers of the song Badd said anything since the book came out.

I was wondering about this too! I can't imagine they are happy about this.

Anyone that says that they respect Michael would not write such a song like that. I don't think they would like it if they had vitiligo and people treated them like that. I don't think we really know who respected Michael. They say it on camera and on interviews but who really knows what they think.

THUNDER that article you posted can you make a thread with it using its title, so we could discuss it. Or, is that against rules. When Mr. Clean finishes cleaning the other thread, then you could merge them. What do you think.

I think it is the hypocritical nature of the industry. They smile and speak glowingly of each other and what they truly think stays private. All I wish is that when they had a one-on-one moment with Michael they talked frankly and got their questions answered. Perhaps if Spike Lee had done that he would not still be under the misapprehension that Michael did not want to be Black.

I think I better NOT....:lmao: :ninja:

Then again, we only have Jermaine's word on this and we all know that Jacksons like to shift blame to others when they do something wrong. Babyface could just be the person that Jermaine chose to throw under the bus so fans would be more forgiven.

My take is that Babyface may not say anything either way on this issue because it could be an old and dead issue with them. The song was written 20 years ago and it's mostly only Michael Jackson fans that keep bring it up, so they may not feel a need to explained themselves.

It hurts when they do that especially that Michael died. I would rather them not saying anything at all. All people had to do was talk to Michael and ask him.

That is possible. I am surprised if they wrote it because it's even worse coming from people who say they respect and admire Michael. This song is like something Eminem would write to be honest or someone like that.

Isn't it amazing how the two siblings who hurt him the most and did that publicly now can't stop repeating that MJ forgave them and that they were close? It's like if you repeat it often enough you will believe it's true
Indeed, it's mind boggling
The Word to the Badd story is interesting. Two spurned producers wrote the song and angry Jermaine sang it, even though he did not agree with all of it. Considering the kind of clout and influence Michael had at that time, that was a bold move.

Babyface subsequently worked with Michael. I wonder if it was ever discussed.

Exactly, personally I couldn't care less as to who wrote it or not, Babyface and LA Reid are hypocrites if that that's indeed the case. But I'm sure none of the two had the guts to say that stuff into Michael's face while working with him/meeting him.

As for Jermaine just because he didn't write the song,it doesn't mean he should be excused, not only did he sing the song but he also released it a day before/after Bow, he did so b/c he expected a reaction.

He isn't innocent in this, those two producers never held a gun onto Jermaine's forehead, forcing him to record the song. Germaine willingly participated. Jermaine sang the song b/c he thought by doing so, he'd finally be able to have the career he was so desperate for.

It serves him right that BoW ended whatever odds were left for JErmaine to be known for more than just being Michael Jackson's attention seeking brother. Also the lyrics of BoW match his own sentiments towards Michael way too much, for him NOT to have had some kind of input as far as the lyrics are concerned.

I HIGHLY doubt Babyface and Reid came up with all of the lyrics themselves WITHOUT Jermaine's input

example:
..it ain't about you taking my pie,
you've been taken for a long time

OR:

..nobody knows what the future might bring
It's not guaranteed that you'll be spreading your wings

Cuz those excerpts just show plain jealousy, and I'm not willing to buy that two randoms producers were able to come up with such lyrics, which at least partially, mirror the depths of Jermaine's ambigiuous feelings towards his beloved little brother.

This pic is kinda ironic considering how different the lives these two brothers were, despite being so close in age. I think the differences between Michael's life and career graph and those of his siblings, really do prove once again that everyone shapes and molds his/her own life. Everyone is responsible for their own life, some are able to make something out of it while others are not.

God bless you Michael you were a cute baby

Doesn't matter to me that if "Word to the badd" was 20yrs ago, it just shouldn't have happened, period! No matter who wrote it in the end! There are always things I will never let The Jackson pass off as "a moment" so to speak!

Anyways, I'm listening to Jerm UK interview now http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b014gcmh/Front_Row_Jermaine_Jackson_his_memoir_on_Michael/ and he is trying his best to defend Michael to the arrogant interviewer that isn't buying it and people like that is just pointless to even try to change their minds! They think their lives are perfect I guess!? So I give Jermaine credit for even trying and he even starts to cry....again! But, some things he say don't help like defending Joe too much and how MJ wasn't damage by Joe!

Okay.

Blue the thing is Jermaine needs to stick to one idea in his book. If his book was about defending Michael and showing a human side of Michael, he should stick to that and present facts. He made the mistake by mixing up the defense issue with garbage such as the plan, and then contradicting himself. He is not a scholar, so he does not know how to mix these various issues well. What he did in the book made him the target of unscrupulous reporters who can compare all these thoughts, inconsistencies, and illegal plan and attack him with it to show his lack of integrity. However, you can't tell Jermaine what to do.

I hope for his other interviews he walks in with factual data about the allegations, and vitiligo, and stress that Michael did not know about his stupid plan.

If this ain't the cutest thing! Both Michael and Marlon are little chubby-wubbies right here. They look like they are 2 and 3 yrs old. Michael had a little applehead and apple cheeks. (lol)

She said something like, "Oh, so I guess he's saying i'm not a lady." . She also said "He probably hates me now"
