I can!! Janet is a legend also, and unlike her siblings, she will most definitely represent her brother with the utmost respect......
 
I love Janet. She is good person, just like her brother, Mike. I would like to watch it. Gosh, I havn`t this channel :(

Its always been the case though. Any time a Jackson does an interview they are always asked about Michael, even before he died. My previous post I made I did jump the gun a bit and I apologise-Janet is no LaToya!

I think Robin is probably the best one to interview her. I can see her not trying to make Janet uncomfortable.
 
You guys know the ABC is the same network that did that infamous Martin Bashir interview, that I blame the is the primary cause to all this grief. :mat:
 
I'm watching it. I have always loved Janet, and had tickets for her concert her in Oslo in 2001, but she cancelled the whole tour unfortunately. She would never profit off of Michael..but of course they're asking her about him, they always did/do. But Janet is an intelligent and lovely person, and will do great. I'm looking forward to it..and can't wait untill she releases her new album :)

YESSS, I saw it, she is giving raw emotion. SHe actually left hours after the memorial to go back to Atlanta to start filming, Tyler said she let a lot of her emotions and anger about Mikes death out in those scenes, she even broke a golf club unintentionally :clapping:

Geez, Janet can give an interview! Its not like jermaine, or laytoya or anyone else....Janet is releasing just a number 1 hits like MJ did and is allowing an interview. She won't mooch off Michael's death like the others.

She was close to MJ both as a sister and as a performer. Let her alone and wait until after the interview to bash her (IF she does or says anything worthy of being bashed for)
 
AND when a loved one dies, you have to move one or you'll go insane. Janet has a career to forge ahead with. Unlike Jermaine and the others who didnt have a singing career as big as mike's and janets. Thats what pissed me off about jermaine saying he wanted to start up music again on the day of the funeral.

Janet has always been huge and she needs to work. :)

Be sure Janet will be saying only as much as she wants on the topic of Michael, ABC won't be able to push her into saying more than she wants to. I think she will be dignified with her responses and will not delve too much into personal stuff.

Nope. These are from the Harpers Bazaar interview with Janet:

The last time Janet saw Michael was on May 14, two days before her 43rd birthday. It was a family celebration, the Jackson kids were running around, and she and her big brother hung out, ate Thai food, and tormented each other. "We had so much fun that day," she says, her soft voice almost inaudible. "We kept calling each other after and saying how great it was."

That last day Janet saw Michael, "he had a Balmain jacket on. He had a few of them — all black, jeweled, studded, with rhinestones."

"He loved to laugh. The last time we were together, he'd laugh so hard, he would just start crying."

It's not fishy. It's purposeful. But that's okay. No way could this album come out and in promoting it, she not be asked about Michael. This way she gets to answer all the questions that will be coming at her in a prime time interview.

AMEN! I so want to see it, but if Diane Sawyer was conducting it, I wouldn't be able to hear it all. I'd be swearing under my breath at Sawyer so much that I would miss much of what Janet was saying.

Glad it's Robin, hate it's on ABC.
 
Janet won't reveal anything. There will be A LOT of ear tugging and "Umms" throughout the whole thing (Typical Janet). I'm sure she's going to avoid any questions about MJ or her manager is going to warn the interviewer not to ask any questions about him in advance like they always do.

You can't ignore the elephant in the room. She will be asked about Mike for the next year, there's no getting around it. So some of you need to get over it. She's not using his name to promote her work, never has, never will. Calm your nerves ppl, it's not that serious.

Oh yes!! Because a woman that sold over 100 million records and has a career spanning 3 decades needs to use her brother?

Give me a break!!

Janet's the last person to do such a thing. If anything she has always respected MJ and left his name out of her mouth in interviews. She's not like Latoya nor Jermaine who live off doing interviews about MJ.
