Jacksons A&E Show.. The Trailer

I saw it...and I think Marlon is annoying.

I liked how when Matt asked them how MJ's kids are dealing with MJ's death, Marlon cited his kids, and said how "the kids are dealing with the same way any other kids that lost a parent would". Did I miss something? Did Marlon's wife die?

what? no, marlon answered the question fine

I think Marlon is funny. He is always cracking jokes. Loved how he said that jermaine has 50 kids!

So now we're not gonna believe that there's something positive about the Jackson brothers? If they said they sold $250 then that must be true. That is like saying Michael didnt sell OVER $750Mil. Thats what some ppl. saying. But we know he sold more than that right?

So, Instead of saying "its a wishful thinking" in the Jackson's part, Lets just not say anything at all. They've done a lot after the J5 days...so who are we to question what we clearly dont know?

Just leave it as it is...

Thank you

MJ sold about 300-350 million worldwide. The J5/Jacksons record sales are a little over 100 million. They didn't sell more than Janet.

The Jacksons can't live for MJ for the rest of their lives. Everyone complains about them trying to use MJ but gets upset when they promote something they were working on before MJ died. Life goes on! The family can't sit around worrying about Michael when he is gone. MJ left them NOTHING, and they need to make a living too. The truth is the truth about MJ whether we like it or not. They tried to help him, but some people just can't be saved. They didn't cause this....

u know what? the police have not decided the outcome of the MJ case..so i wish other people would not. this deciding that MJ was a drug addict is just as tired as some people think that judging other family members is.

thats hypded up, his actual sales aint that high. and the j5s havent even solld 50 mill. so there goes ur fiction out of the window again.

one more person underestimating MJ again.

if guiness says 750 mill, underestimaters will say 350 mill. if guiness says 350 mill, the underestimaters will say 130 mill...that's just the way it goes. i prefer to believe Guiness.

since MJ was never able to walk the streets, anywhere in the world, all his career life, which exceeds forty five years, and since all those many many people who wouldnt let him walk the streets, are a safe bet to have purchased his music...and since it's a mighty big planet, and since his music is timeless and magic, and since he was credited with single handedly giving a shot in the arm to the music business, twice, and since his ability to always sell out concerts, even after the media ravaged him, including what is apparent at London o2, even when the fans were not sure of what music would be played, and since he's known for mind boggling talent, and people do buy music from that kind of talent, since they are intelligent, and usually helplessly swept in by it, to the point where naysayers accused him of witchcraft, because of his music, and since MJ stated that he made billions(plural)for Sony, when he made his speech about why he had to buy half the company, publishing wise, because of how he was being cheated of promotion for Invincible(i can hear somebody right now, saying 'don't believe drug addicted, naive-looking, naive Mike') then, it's safe to say he exceeded 750 million sales.

He sold OVER $750 Mill. The money he gave to charity was $350Mil.

I'm not gonna get into argument with anyone. Tnx for your comment :)

What are you talking about?

I'm not talking money. I'm talking record sales and it's not over 750 million.

His sales are at 300-350 million.

since you don't know if it's 300 or 350 mill, that means you don't know. which is it? you don't know.

so...we might as well believe an actual legitimate record book, which says 750 mill.

if you ever wonder why people don't believe whatever sales figures you say about whoever your favorite artist is(other than Michael), even if figures are written in a legit document, this is why. because you claim to know better than the record books, about Michael. and that energy comes back to you.:)

:lmao:

You're too much! 750 million is completely inflated. It's reported that it's 300-350 million and just because I don't know where exactly he stands right now doesn't mean ish. You act like you know MJ personally. SMDH.

no. i said the record books. i didn't say i know MJ. i'm just doing the math. you don't go billions for Sony and only end up with 350mill.

and he didn't just stop at 750 mill, because, naturally, people keep buying MJ music after that was first posted.

now, you just choose to believe the lower number, for no reason. except that you like the lower number for someone like MJ.

easier to believe the lesser than the more...easier to believe the negative than the positive.

but it's just as easy to believe the higher number, as it is to believe that people who like to minimize MJ's numbers, just happen to be on MJ sites along with those who believe the higher numbers. bigger numbers of people on the MJ sites, that include people that an outsider would not believe would be on an MJ site, because they like to minimize MJ's numbers. bottom line is, it amounts to a bigger number of people on MJ sites...to go with the bigger number of units sold...which includes people, who bought MJ music, but still think he has lower numbers, to go along with people who bought MJ music that think he has the higher numbers. 45 successful years doesn't convince you, but that doesn't mean it's not true. with all those fans over all those years, it's true. 750 mill, at least. and, you not being able to decide a number, means everything.

You really crack me up!!

Why don't you explain to me where the 750 million came from :D

oh..the two earlier posts that i am sure you saw, that i wrote, explains the logic. but, never mind my logic. when i said the word Guiness, that was enough.

you tell me...why would it be easier to believe Oprah Winfrey passed the billion mark in earnings, for example, than it would be to believe MJ sold 750 million units? i usually see many say that she passed that mark, but there seems to be a dispute about MJ's sales of units. do you think it might have something to do with the talking heads of the media?

get over it

unlikely...I am old and values like respect and accuracy matter to me...so as much as I like the brothers getting on with their own lives this "typeo" makes me sick and no way I am contributing to the success of this show..one can say my NPS is strong negative simply because of this "typeo" and if it doesnt bother the brothers..well it says a lot to me..."family comes first" that is the last qoute in the trailer....yeah right....make sure all of your family members are given credit for their achievement then preach..

Τhis is sooo sad, people know they are nothin without Michael... I hope they don't lie about MJ cause if they say something bad about him people will believe them cause their his family!! I wish this "show" never airs!!!

In 1980 there was a special on 20/20 that interviewed the Jackson family and Profiled MJ especially they talked about MJ off the wall album and interviewed him too and showed clips of him and his brothers on the triumph tour! This show also mentioned that the Jacksons brothers had sold over 90mil albums! So who knows where that number is today for the Jacksons if they sold that much by 1980 and MJ just had off the wall out only!

Think about it! and there was no need for hype in this special like people are suggesting here because this was 1980 and MJ was not yet in the thriller era! So don't even try it! LOL

And didn't Motown hid the real totals of how many albums sold until the late 70's or something. My minds kinda muddy and ya'll can correct me if I'm wrong, I just read it from a book. So if that was the case, we don't know how much they sold exactly but I imagine that it's pretty huge. :D

this is sad
i'll never understand some fans....

anyway- doesnt this come on soon, like the 16th or something?? I don't feel like looking through all the pages...and I'm sure I asked before..and forgot the answer..

Some said the 13th,15th or the 16th, I think.

 and who told u this?

i'm sure the jackson 5/jacksons have sold WAY more than that

no way the J5 basically did not have fan fare in Europe at all (except for UK) pre Victory Tour, I dont know what u think but they were no where in the league of the Beatles. But yeah go on fan fiction is great indeed :punk:

who said anything about the beatles? anyways in my book the jackson 5 are better the beatles were great musicians and stuff but they aren't very entertaining to watch...they just stand there...

and if u have a problem with the sales numbers take it up with whoever came up with it.

Agree, I liked the Beatles back in the day, but they were not very animated in their performances. Well, really not at all. I remember them appearing on Ed Sullivan as well and they could not hold a candle to the Jackson Five for style.

Looking forward to the brothers' show.

The Beatles had great music for those who like them (I'm not one of them...sorry) I do like some songs though! But, as performers they always reminded me of bobble head dolls, u know what I mean? lol
