Invincible Voted As Best Album In 2000's Decade: Billboard Readers

Wow! this is somethin i didnt expect! its a shame that mike isnt here to see it :(.But im happy that it is finally been reconized :)

I think, if it were any artist Britney, Gaga whoever who had been no.1 we'd have been hearing about it already and people would be celebrating them having the best album of the decade. But 'Cause its MJ people are just going to put this down to his death and gloss over it. That said i'm also in agreement with the people who arent too sure he would have won this if he hadn't died, you never know what with the comeback and all, but still.

the album didn't get a lot of publicity. so these voters have to have known about the album in the past. or they would have drowned it out in a sea of Thriller Bad and maybe Dangerous and Number 1's.

GREAT NEWS... I remember it as it was yesterday, that morning of 29/10 when i BOUGHT Invincible... i was the first one in my city.. the man from my local store took it out of the big box infront of me and i just couldn't believe that i finally had the new Michael Jackson Album... What they need to do now is re-release Invincible with 1-2 unreleased bonus tracks from that period (no demos) + a bonus dvd with that studio footage with Rodney Jerkins... That would be wonderful!!!

MICHAEL IS THE ICON 4 LIFE

MJ should always win any contest he is in just because its him....after all he is the greatest entertainer ever, everyone else should bow down.

yey :D, i love Invicible, especially Speechless!

That's so awesome! Go Invincible! Fan power at its best! This should encourage us with media advocacy campaign, strength in numbers!

DEFINATELY! Although some of us might've voted a few times :))

Right now the media's busy bashing Tiger Wood (thank you Tiger) I'm sure as the grammy tribute gets closer (january) the MJ bashing will start again. So let's get ready for this.

My favorites from Invincible are:
1) Unbreakable
2) Speechless
3) Threatened
4) Cry
5) Privacy
6) YRMW
But most of all the one that didn't make it on the CD because it was too controversial;
XSCAPE

I don't think so mate. MJ has made himself immortal.. He is statistically speaking more popular than ever. I'm that will remain for eternity. And you know what? Our idol deserves it!

I think Invincible is an album that kind of grows over time. Therer are som proper jewlels there, and it needs to be heard on some quality speakers to be completely apreaciated. There are stuff you discover bit by bit, in terms of sounds and vocal work. It may not have all the hit potential that some of his early records. Still, some of the songs are as I said my absolute favorites. One of them are speechless, as some others have pointed out its really a great way of discovering the purity of his voice, and his vocal skills. The record also shows some of the diversity he has in his vocal ability, and as well its a record that shows the producer Michael and the sound geek. In comparison to many other albums this is a record that has quality written all over it. And in that sense it also shows Michaels work ethic and experience, witch is an example to follow for younger artists.

Excellent, finally is getting the recognition it DESERVES, INVINCIBLE is an amazing piece of material, is EXCELLENT, Michael was a musical GOD, end

:clapping:I just got t say again, im really glad, Michael would defenetly be proud, he was so into his music...., Invincible was underrated at first, i think ppl just did not understood it back in those days, but i mean, the melodies, Michaels voice, everything was excellent

Invincible its defenetly the BEST ALBUM of the 2000's decade, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE, as everything Michael did musically, it is UNIQUE, Michael style WONDERFUL:clapping: :clapping: :clapping: ;D

THE BEST of the decade, what an HONOR!!!, hope that Michael can see this from wherever he is, RIP Michael

I'm the first fan to say that Invincible is under-rated, but album of the decade? Not even close.

I respect your opinion but I disagree..

Why can't it be the album of the decade? This is not based on album sales or anything. It's based on what people feel is the album of the decade. Many people(of all ages) feel this decades music was not as great compared to the 90's,80's,70's, and 60's. Although Invincible didn't have the impact of a Nirvana's "Nevermind" album for example, I feel that no other album compares to the quality of each and every song on Invincible.

Micheal's music is more popular today than any artists at this moment and people aren't just listening to Thriller 1000x times over, they are listening to all of his music including Invincible. People have simply discovered what a truly great album it is.

I'm curious what album you feel is of better quality this decade?

WOW! Long live the King! :D It's good to see Invincible get some recognition. It's truly an underrated album. I'll admit it, I wasn't into the album at first, but after awhile it grew on me. I definitely consider it to be one of the best albums of this decade.

How about the quality of the lyrics? The POWERFUL messages in the songs I mentioned as my favorites. This, combined with what you said IS why Michael Jackson is a unique genius. And that's why Invincible IS the album of the decade. NOONE on that list had all these ingredients. Nuff said.
