Invincible Voted As Best Album In 2000's Decade: Billboard Readers

Cute list... Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift (2 albums), Ashley Tisdale in the top10.

When I look at the top10 I'm kind of surprised Justin Timberlake's "Justified" didn't make it, but the voters might have caught amnesia.
But I mean, this is a list one shouldn't take to serious - It says more about who voted than the music itself.

I mean, no Coldplay, no Alicia Keys, e.t.c - they've been fairly big in popular culture.

I hope this gets some coverage. Then people will start to download it or buy it.

I really hope that to … many people haven’t heard the songs on this album. It’s time for a wakeup call with real good music. If you have not heard Speechless or Unbreakable you must have missed something…
 
Woa! Go Invincible. I will say I didn't enjoy it in the beginning either and it had to grow on me. Now it's become a standard like his other albums in my book. Threatened is my ringtone at the moment too, lol!!

But, in all honesty, I looked at the critic's choices too and preferred theirs better. People say good music is dead. No it's not. It's just more of a hunt than it used to be. And these critics kept and honored them. I love my Wilco and Radiohead, and they made some great albums this decade.

I am completely shocked.
I never ever expected it would win.
This is such a bittersweet feeling... I am... well... I really love Invincible, it has lots of wonderful songs, his voice is beutiful and it is so meaningful, so personal, so much about Michael. But it was destroied. It really was.

So now this... almost 10 years later... this year... and all because of we voting for him. I mean, it WAS something, since we had to send the name, etc. , so this is really incredible. The power we have... PEOPLE, THE POWER WE HAVE AS MJ FANS IS AMAZING!!!

I am very confused.... I feel like crying :cry: and I had to just leave for a quiet place to cry. This is amazingly beutiful... as well as sad.

Love you more, Michael, and love you all, MJ fans, for making this possible....

That's so awesome! Go Invincible! Fan power at its best! This should encourage us with media advocacy campaign, strength in numbers!

Again, people who have underestimated Michael need to put a sock in it...

Invincible is/was/always will be an amazing record, which is actually his fastest selling record to date, and it was number all over the world and it has sold 10 million records...yet it was a flop...RIIIIIIGHT. As a singer myself, I hope to have as big a "flop" as Invincible. Whatever...

Invincible is a fabulous record and if one listens to it, it to this day sounds so fresh, as compared to the crap that is on the radio today....yeah nothing can touch it or Michael.

Way to go Michael! And way to go to all the fans who voted.

Be proud as I'm sure Michael is, wherever he may be...I know he's smiling somewhere...

this is really suprising. are we sure this was a critics poll as well? if it was up to billboard im pretty sure invincible wouldnt be chosen...cool though.

congratulations to all of us who voted!! I did it and I really had no hopes he will make it. It has been so ignored by critics and others. I just voted because it is Michael, for the love to him and to the album, one of my favourites really.

This is really a result of our love for Michael and the love of Michael for us when giving us his best :)

I voted for that. I am so happy for Michael. To be honest I didn't think we had a chance because it wasn't even an option and we had to type it in.
