'Invincible' is Incredible.

When i started to listen to Michael's music i was overwhelmed by Bad, Dangerous & Thriller but i wasn't so eager to listen to his recent stuff, mainly because i've heard that Invincible is weak album ( in the internet and some "critics" who probably have read other reviews in the internet ). But when i've heard You Rock My world and realised that it's from Invincible i checked other track from it. I must say it is a great album ( imo not his best but it's still very impressive ). Whatever Happens, Unbreakable, Privacy, You Rock My World, 2000 Watts and Butterflies should have been released as a single ( i know only YRMW and Cry were), his voice changed in years but he still sounded amazing. My top3 tracks are Whatever Happens ( one of his best ballads if released as a single it would be a bomb, MJ + EvH, MJ+Steve Stevens,MJ + Slash, MJ + Santana = has to be a bomb song ;] ), Unbreakable & You Rock My world. I'll probably never understand why "critics" were so "unpleased", it's a great album. Invincible was sold in 8million copies, got 2 Grammy nominations, with only 2 singles, no promotion and no tour, so that's also very impressive.

I never understood why the critics for invincible were so bad...In my opinion invincible is one of the best MJ albums! Actually it's my second favourite after dangerous! I love all the tracks from it! Although it's very hard to pick my favourite songs, I can easily say that whatever happens and don't walk away are some of the greatest ballads that I have ever heard! Also songs like butterflies, break of dawn, you rock my world and unbreakable are awesome!!! And of course I love his mature voice in the album!!!

People were just hatin' on Mike cause it was what was expected. No matter what he did it was NEVER right. :( But we all know the album is rockin' ;)

Yeah, that's very sad how lame media are. They always try to make MJ look bad, for example in WMA 2006, they screwed up the audio ( they put on some noise ) so Michael's vocals sounded not good :( ( listen to the amateur recordings from this performance and you'll see/hear ). Media are just too desperate for sensation and that's why they are sooo lame, nobody would give a sh** if some tabloid article was about some random dude, but everyone knows MJ so that made him a great victim for media.

If people even know MJ at ALL they know that The Lost Children was like his freakin' ANTHEM. That song had so much heart and belief behind it I'm surprised he didn't turn it into a single to raise money for charities to be completely honest.

I wasn't too crazy about "Invincible" at first but I've grown to love it over the years. The ballads especially are amazing and the album has been very theraputic for me actually to listen to after MJ's passing. Songs like "Heaven Can Wait", "You Are My Life", "Speechless" "Butterflies" and "Don't Walk Away" have really been calming for me to listen to. All such lovely songs. I probably listen to "Invincible" and "Off The Wall" more than any other MJ album these days.

I seriously love 2000 Watts. That ish would be all over the radio if released as a single, it's better than any of that 'type' of music I hear around here on the pop stations.

this song is amazing, and as you say 'its such a michael song' and it really is. i love the clip on youtube when he sings it with his children, and he's like 'hey i dont wanna sing alone, help me out!' aww its so cute!

when i first heard this i didnt think it was him singing! he sounds soooo different, i was so amazed by this song and it once again shows how michael is the best singer out there. noone has such a wide range of songs and tunes as him. invincible is a masterpiece and every song on it deserves to be brought up to the light. its a magical album, and i think that he had so much more to give that i almost dare to say that his next album would be even better than this one. hopefully we will find out in the future if they release some of his new music.

I love it!! It's amazing!!! :) My favorites are

Unbreakable
Heartbreaker
Invincible
Speechless
2000 Watts
Privacy
Break of Dawn
Threatened

:D

I love Invincible. I bought on the day it was released (I got a blue cover, hee :) ) and listened to it with my friend, also a fan. I remember having this feeling of a huge relief, because this album was mostly about love and good emotions (after HIStory, which was mostly an angry album of protest). I listened to the songs thinking that Michael was able to forget what happened to him in the 90s and move on and Invincible was a result of that. What a precious album, what amazing songs. Too bad general public failed to truly appreciate it, its their loss.

I looooove this album!

Whatever Happens
Invincible
Threatened
2000 Watts
Don't Walk Away
SPEECHLESS

his voice has a kinda different quality to it on this album too...like....really pure or something? You can especially hear it on Speechless

i agree with you on that, this album seems like he wanted to tell the world that he only got stronger and that nobody could break him no matter what happened.his album has songs where michael defends himself and songs with alot of confidence. songs like threatened, privacy, unbreakable and invincible really shows how michael wants to tell the world he is strong and that he is not finished as an artist. i love that about invincible, that it got like two different types of songs. these beautiful slow ballads mixed with up beat songs with alot of twists in them is really what makes this cd so good. i think he made a perfectly balanced album, with every type of song you would want to have on a CD.

Invincible is magical.
Heaven Can't Wait, You Rock My World and Speechless... my favourites, they're beautiful.
That voice... :wub2:

Just love Vince, it has a great mix of styles, I love 2000 watts and Speechless. Such a shame this album was never promoted correctly, even the video's I feel were produced on a tight budget. God could you of imagined a video for 2000 Watts, I can pictured a 200ft Michael Jackson robot moonwalking along Las Vegas strip. Aahhh! We can dream.

Saying that, this sort of thing could be possible though, an 3D animated version of Michael in the future is possible, just look at the new film Avatar!

When I first listened to Invincible, I just fell down my knees!! :listeningtomusic:
The album, really, is incredible. I just wish more people would just listen to it, for once, and they would be as astonished about it as I was! Normally this never happens to me, I usually have to listen to albums several times before I can rate them, but with Invincible....It was love at the first sight

so true!!

Last week I put Invincible on the stereo in the living room and my mother was yellin at me 'bout the volume and I went crazy lol. You have to stand like, on the table to get to the stereo and ON the table were flowers in a, uhm, long thing made of glass  and I broke it. Not on purpose!! I got totally into the songs:lmao:

Invincible was a strong record, and I feel that Michael was very proud of it, even if Sony tried to turn it into a piece of shit. He put as much heart and soul in to this record as he did any others. Every song holds a piece of Michael, and since this is (as of yet) his last piece of work that has been released to us, I believe it holds even more meaning in all of our hearts than his other albums.

oh yeah i totally agree. i think its sad that this is the only record that has hit the 21st century, and man i think this album was only the beginning... i hope we will get new music beacuse i know that michael still rules the music world today. just think about how much bad music there is out there... no one makes real music anymore and i think that michael is one of the few artists that could really 'save' the music from going totally in the wrong direction.

love speechless, the lost children, don't walk away and cry

i cried the first couple of times i listened to speechless... something about that song... it's magical, beautiful, joyful, sad, all at the same time.

after he napped... i was too scared to listen to it for a few weeks.
it gets me everytime though.

and yes i think Invincible is AMAZING. just WOAHHHH :D

is anybody else in love with the part of Whatever Happens when he sings "whatever, whatever, whatever"...? It makes me feel..peaceful or something...

The lost children is great.

After I saw the video of Mike singing it with his children I hear the song all the time.

I like whatever happens and 2000 watts. Don't forget break of dawn and heaven can wait (ironic) and Butterflies

I love Invincible. I have a 45 minute commute each way to work and have been listening to it for 2 weeks straight. I couldn't understand when it came out and got bad reviews. What a bunch of idiots the music critics are. My favoraite songs are Invincible, Speechless, Butterflies, 2000 watts (I crank up the volune till my car shakes on this one), Don't walk away, You are my life, What ever happens (love Carlos too), Cry. Hmmm, i just realized that i have listed almost the entire album.
