I am going to see Maca and Stevie this summer. Im sure they will be fine. 2016 has been enough of a bitch for one year, shes taken enough!

Hard to believe. :( I never got into Prince much, but I do love some of his songs. The whole situation is just bizarre. I never imagined he would die young like Michael did, and not so far apart from each other either. It's surreal.

(KMSP) - The Carver County sheriff’s office has released the transcript of the 911 call that was placed when Prince was found unresponsive in an elevator at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota. First responders attempted CPR, but Prince was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 57.

The call was placed at 9:43 a.m., and Prince was pronounced dead at 10:07 a.m. An autopsy will be performed by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office on Friday to determine the cause of death.

I am rocking my MJ+Prince playlist all day today. It's a 97 songs long playlist with MJ and Prince songs alternating. I have it on my waterproof MP3 player because I usually listen to it when I go swimming.

Not a prince fan, but respect his immense talent. The purple one is getting 100% positive coverage on every news outlet. And thank the gods he does not have an idiot family like the jacksons, sending out a Brian Oxman steering the corrupt media towards drug addiction.

I mean, it's not a competition thing for me (and honestly, people downplaying Michael's achievements has nothing to do with this). The sort of comment that Bieber responded to originally is just over the top for any one artist and if someone said it about Michael back in June 2009, my response would be the same as it was today with Prince. There are still many incredible living performers out there.

And yes, hopefully his estate relaxes their grip on streaming services. I feel by not doing so, it could potentially be harmful to Prince's legacy.

True true, I always say that MJ is the least respected legend.
Many people right now are just being opportunist.

As for how you feel about Bieber's comment I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree.

In my opinion Michael is the best solo entertainer to ever do it and Prince is one of the best, so both of them should be above criticism of any kind from Justin Bieber who's mediocre in comparison to both MJ and Prince, but hey different strokes for different folks. :yes:

But Bieber wasn't criticising Prince at all, he was disagreeing with a comment made by someone else on Prince. Two different things.

Life is weird man. With all the shit he's put his body through, I don't know how Ozzy is alive tbh (no disrespect to him, he's great. In fact scientists have literally tried to study his body to see why he's still alive).

However I can think of some vegan's though who are still kicking it into their 70s (namely Paul McCartney, dudes been a vegetarian for a good ...45+? years now and is very healthy).

Okay, I'm going to be honest.
I was neutral on Justin Bieber at first, but seeing that video of him telling a racist joke made me dislike him (especially considering that Usher, a black man is a large part of the reason we even know who Justin is), so I think that he needs to keep dissenting opinions about artist that are way better then himself to himself especially on the day of said artist death. :yes:

Ppl can seemingly look healthy but unless you have regular scans (which you think the rich would) than you can have no idea you have blocked arteries or a heart defect/ disease until its to late

It doesn't feel real - that Prince died.

Bruce S and Madonna need to be bubble wrapped or medical personnel beside them to keep them alive as seemingly all the 80's biggest icons are going to join in the big band on the other side.

I thought about the heart, too: Sometimes a tough flu that does not really heal can damage the heart (myocarditis, inflammation of the heart). A German model died of this a couple of years ago. It was a big issue here in Germany at the time.

I've read that last week he overdosed and they had to administer a save shot. Was recommended to stay in the hospital for 24 hrs but left after 3 hrs. I don't know what really happened or what to believe. We all know how this goes in the media. I will wait for the autopsy. It's sucks he's gone. Haven't bought any of his newer material but I love his classics. R.I.P Prince.

of course we will find out more within the next week with the autopsy... (I can't believe I am using the word autopsy again in a present tense) For those who are not too familiar with pneumonia - once a person gets it once they become more susceptible to get it again.. Him passing at his age from it though Is fairly rare. But than again he was a busy man, running around and performing.. that takes a toll on someone especially if they are battling the flu or pneumonia. Can't forget to mention the various people/germs he could run into..

Pneumonia is no joke I've had It twice! much worse to deal with than the flu (more common)! you can heal with bruised or broken ribs from the coughs.. I had bruised!

Yeah. Mj suffered enough with it cause of his lungs but personally i would think you would have to have a underlaying problem to be effected that badly by it at such an age that you have a C A or H.A.

Time will tell
