 :weeping:
MY heart just stopped for a second. this is how the pic should look like :(

It seems that I am the only one happy to watch the speech and tribute performance.
I'm sorry guys. I hope you guys are doing OK. Don't be sad.

Anyone have file 8 from Rapidshare? I downloaded all these files to see it in HD , only to fnd out the last file doesn't work. Oh wait, i clicked the link from Rockstar's message , where he quotes it...it doesn't work from there, from the original it does work.

Why are you guys doing this to yourselves, putting Michael in that picture? Isn't it gonna just make you sadder?

God. watching those precious children and their lovely words about their Dad almost broke my heart. My mum cried and even my Dad who is not a fan shed a tear.

After much speculation about Michael's children accepting an award on behalf of their father, I was seriously shocked but at the same time delighted that they did accept the award.
I honestly think that it's the right time for Michael's children to accept awards on behalf of their father. They might not be ready for centre stage to perform but saying a few words like last night is someting I believe they are totally capable of. It looks like Michael clearly raised them with strong minds. They are coming to terms with his passing. They might get nervous but thats a natural reaction because they haven't attended any public ceremonies like this before. I just hope they accept all major awards in the future.

Also, Prince and Paris are sooooo good looking and have excellent dress sense. Clearly they take after their father.

I think the performance was great and you could feel the attachment the performers had with the song. Usher had a great lil speech on the red carpet if anyone watched it. He was saying how this was the right song to perform because it is what MJ really felt in his heart and if there was any song he would've wanted them to perform it would be this, something along those lines.

Don't mean to be negative, but IMO the performance was awful. I mean, it's a nice tribute of course, and very nice of the artists, but I personally think that they sounded bad, dunno why.

Back again and I knew it. Someone had to report negatively about it. Stupid people. It's a german article saying it was embarassing, their outfits looked like carneval and so on. She wrote that because in the end of the article, she's claiming Joe forced them like he forced everyone of his children. Ignorant. God thanks you can leave a comment there, I'll definitely register.

What a BS article by Nora Reinhardt.

'you reap what you sow' ... I wish you hell

Shame on this b**ch!

@ Dangerous 88 -Maybe cuz they were singing it in their own way mostly.

I enjoyed it myself. And the 3-D effects.

Bless you, Jackson 3.
Very emotional for me.

Dont worry it, shes only jealous & ticked off that once again michael's chidren have humanised him once more and did it wonderfully!

Yep I know but I just couldn't help it and commented it, it's so dull to speak about children like that. okay, breath in - breath out. Ignorant people annoy the hell out of me.

I noticed Beyonce with the 3D glasses on and she was certainly grooving to it and having a good time, nice to see that. Will.IAM almost looked mad or sad...this was nice though. But at the parts where you hear Michael sing...sigh...i just got the shivers all over me again....and almost teary as well...it's been awhile, but it's just almost impossible to accept..that much is for sure.

Yeah I mean, I am not dissing on it cuz it's not Michael - there are some tributes I really liked, for example Ne-Yo's Lady In My Life. But I just realized that no one can sing Earth Song the way Michael does, even if they are good vocalists I just don't feel it , you know?

Still I won't be negative and focus on my personal opinion rather than the act of tribute by these big artists. :)

I do.

I hear ya and I dont view your post as negative....it's just the way you feel.

For some reason I was expecting more from the performance. The 3D was great but I expected more on the stage itself. A much bigger production or something like Michael would have for 'Earth Song'. The Grammys hyped the performance up too much just because they used the 3D footage that was going to be used for the 'This Is It' concerts. Was it just to grab viewers??

Yep that article if full of BS, no research obviously, just cliches and rumours. And people like that earn money with it. I mean, it's nothing new actually. But hello, dear Ms Reinhardt? That are children!! :mat:

And i think someone here said that what Prince and Paris said was rehearsed...but to be honest, to me it didn't sound rehearsed at all.

Prince clearly has difficulties with speaking to a huge crowd and because its about such a painful and personal subject matter, he has problems speaking the words, you can clearly see he wasn't happy one bit. Which is as normal as can be. And the same goes for Paris...she seemed very sad.

Don't see how this looks rehearsed.

But was Michael gonna perform there if he had still been here? As Paris said? Wasn't he still doing TII as planned?

And i agree, it's nice of the artists to sing the song, but it doesn't even touch the magic that you hear when Michael sings it. Which was easy to notice when you heard Michael's voice and when the artists werent singing
during those parts.

I think it looked rehearsed. Blatantly. But really, who cares?

They asked him last year to perform and Michael said he wasn't ready, but would be next year. Which would have been now.

It really seemed they wanted to go and pick up the award. If they would have been pressured Blanket would have probably gone up as well.

Looking back I think it was good they got the award and they kept teh rest of the family out. When they are there, there's always drama....

You so right FunkeyJay! That's why I am soooooo very angry :mat:

I agree that it was very emotional. Prince clearly knew what he wanted to say. Might have been rehearsed a bit to just to get the jist of what he wanted to say but stumbled a bit. Then again it might not have been. I just hope no one is pulling their strings. A heart felt acceptance speech is always better than something rehearsed or written.

Oh ok, i thought Michael would still be doing TII in London now?

You know.
I so affraid of the kids before the gala. But know i'm so proud of them.
They are so wonderfull , so great and smart chirdlen.
I love them so much. God bless them and all family.
I so happy that 3T was with them on stage.
They have much support from them.

Eart Song was great . God job.

I'm not reading. Criticising children is disgusting and any normal person, fan or not would agree.

Michael was going to perform at this years' Grammy's.. Can you believe that??

I don't think he was because he would have been performing in London last night. It was tomthedudes's concert date last night. I'm not sure what Paris was trying to say.

And i think someone here said that what Prince and Paris said was rehearsed..

They did prepare their speeches, which is the sensible thing to do especially when he has never done something like this before.

I hope Paris wasn't upset that what she wanted to say didn't come out quite right. I think she had more to say but she got too nervous.

Bless them

...

It depends. It just reminds me of my own expierence, it's actually not comparable because it was in school and I was older, but I had to speak in front of the class, I rehearsed like crazy but what came out in that moment was BS. I was too nervous and knocked out.

But nevertheless... the kids were great, I'm still so blown away by their message and their braveness!

I was expecting much more from the Grammys. Yet, for me at least, that was all made up by Prince and Paris' speech. You can tell they want to stick up for their father, and I have a feeling that when they get older, they will be sticking up for Michael quite a lot. Paris seems like a girl who won't put up with the negative things said about her father.

But they have so much poise, and seem so sweet. Michael has raised three great kids, and in my opinion, will be doing a lot of good for the World as they get older.

And seeing the picture of Blanket from backstage..... He looks so much like Michael in the eyes.

Also, I just rewatched the earth song tribute and I do like it, very much. They sang well, especially Jennifer Hudson when she got all passionate about it (she has a strong voice), and Carrie Underwood.

I agree. Actually -as far as I know it- Die Welt has a good reputation, the more I was shocked to read it.

You've got to wonder why someone would write an article like that.. about children. Sad world we live in.
