Fans who went to santa maria courthouse. Thank you.

I would like to thank you too..

Thank you all so much!!!!

I was at the trial towards the end for 3 months right up to the verdict.

Don't any of you feel guilty that you did not go. You were much safer at home than being at this. We had a really bad time in Santa Maria with the Sheriff's dept., motels and just the people who live there. It was hard on everyone, hardly any sleep, hardly any money for food, just waiting, praying and hoping that this would go right. Arguing with ding bat diane dimond and Nancy disgrace as we all called her. Ugh! No all of you were better of at home getting the news from us fans there or on TV.

The dangerous part was the last day, and God that was the hardest day for everyone there. Not only were we fans there, some had to endure inside the court, and outside, people who were praying MJ go to jail. There were riot cops, helicopters, dogs...just to name a few that day.

Thank God...and I mean this with every fiber, that my friend and I, who was called the bird lady then, due to the doves she let go for each count that was read innocent.
The rest were giving us all daggers, the press felt like creeps for disbelieving us..yet hated us too cause they couldn't take the stuff they had and twist up.

Yet we feared that if this went the opposite way the fans during that time were on edge, the folks there dispised us...we don't know what would have happened. And come to think of it.. the reality of it all could have been pretty dangerous. But it wasn't.

Don't any one feel guilty about not being there. We fans who screamed, sang and did the nutty stuff, "we were there for each and every one of you who could not go."

You don't have to thank anyone...that's what being a Jackson fan is all about..."our family"

;D

This is Silentstar under her friends name.....lol

yeah i want to echo that above........getting into the courtroom was great and yes the sherriff and officers were really rude and strict. I put my hand up by my mouth when i spoke to michael inside after the arraignment was over because if we got up for any reason or spoke we would have gotten thrown out. Thankfully no one did but i would like to add that diane LIAMOND said that all of us fans were WAILING and carrying on when he came into the courtroom and were being DISRESPECTFUL etc etc. That woman is full of ISH. The ONLY thing we did was all of us took hands with each other and held strong. There was no wailing and whatever....

Anyway, once I got outside it was INSANE....Michael got on top of the car and that was great but when he got in the car and got going down the street things turned rough. Fans were run over by the nation of islam and other officers. My friend was threatened to be arrested and then this went to far: One fans got knocked over and me and my friend rushed forward to help her up and I looked up to see Michael and Janet yelling and pointing at her and us and the cops are shoving us back. Janet was yelling and Michael looked so worried and angry....i had never seen that look on him before.
It was crazy the way people were treated. I understand watching out for michael's safety but ours needs to be watched out for as well.

claudiomiami, oh I remember neverland so well! I met michael's cousin outside our hotel room LOL....I'll have to share the story but he scared me to death! Michael had our food all catered and it was sooooo beautiful

I have never written anything here but I was following the forum reading and reading it for hours...guys we truly are the family and it is so amazing to feel it! I truly feel blessed to be part of it!
Reading your posts on this thread now I am just crying for how amazing you all are for supporting Michael Jackson when he truly needed it!

I bet, tell me about it :)))

I was not even at MJJF or MJJC to share my thoughts and ideas and join discussions. :(
Really didn't contribute, except believing in Michael.
Saying 'Thank you' is not enough. I pray for Michael to be happy and live his childhood eternally.

Thank you from me also. It really meant SO MUCH to see you all there, to know that Michael saw how much support and love he had at that terrible time. I always loved that whenever Michael needed us (us = "the fans", collectively) there were also so many of you who were able to be there. It always felt like you were there for all of us. We were all there in our hearts and prayers, but not all of us could be there physically.

maggiemay and Darvon1982 - thank you for being there for Michael. You guys had led quite a life during the trial like Michael did.
maggiemay - I watched the video in youtube and your friend (bird lady) releasing a dove for each not guilty verdict. What wonderful way to thank God.
Darvon1982 - I watched that video Michael was dancing on the car, but I didn't know about you guys almost run over.

Do you guys mind sharing what Michael did on that evening/night after he was found not guilty?

Errr no, I don't feel guilty at all as I was in London and did not have any money to come to LA due to debts. I do wish I was there to support him but I don't feel guilty as it was impossible for me to be there.

I have been thinking about the trial lately and i feel like i let him down by not being there. I knew by the end of the trial that he was definatley innocent and was infact a victim himself but why wasn't i there. I did contemplate flying over loads of times but never went through with it and now it's a huge regret of mine. I should have been there shouting my support every morning but i think i was too afraid to go, afraid that he might be guilty and afraid of what other would think of me if i just took off. I really wish i had now and in a way i feel guilty that i wasn't there when he needed me most.

If there are any fans on here that went to the courthouse even for one day of the trial i'd like to say thank you and i'm sorry i wasn't with you. You were there when he needed you most and i am grateful.

I'm from Holland and I flew to Santa Maria for 10 days during the trial. It's nice of you to thank the fans that were there but to be honest, I think the fans that didn't fly out were there for Michael just as much. There can be many reasons why you didn't go: money, work, school, time, family, anything really. Don't feel bad about it.

As long as you know you've been there for Michael by supporting him online, or going to fan meetings, then you've done what you could. And the fans that were there in Santa Maria, we carried YOUR love and YOUR support with us. We were there on behalf of those who couldn't. I am 100% sure Michael appreciates you just as much as anyone else

On June 13, it was chaos outside. Micheal came out, looking the same as he did when he walked in. The gate fell over from fans leaning so hard on it. He barely waved and he looked so sad.
Most of us hitched rides down to Neverland, where it was more chaotic than ever. But as the line of cars came in, each of the SUV's shook hands with fans and were smiling. Not Micheal's car. It just rushed in and that was the last we ever saw of him. Silly me started crying, mostly from emotional exhaustion ( as an older fan, standing with younger ones, it wasn't easy, yet I did it) I stood at that darn brown gate that was partially opened, then Joe Jackson came around, I guess he was standing near it or something. He came over, and went, "now, now girl, it's all over now, we can all rest, and he hugged me, and I just cried, like a daughter on a father's shoulder like.

Yes it was over...but was it? Inside I felt MIchael's beautiful happy spirit has been broken. Friends of mine and myself, had sat around Michael's Neverland home for 4 more days after the trial ended, hoping maybe he'd come out. But no. They're were functions at the Cumash Indian casino with Tito thanking everyone. But I didn't go. I couldn't go. We were so worried about Michael. But I had to leave and my life had to resume back. Yet I was so heartbroken too, because we wanted Michael to come and say either via phone as he use to do, or by driving down from his house, that he was ok. But that wasn't to be. Michael had up and left for Bahrain and that was the last we saw of him.

What Michael did personally in his home wasn't known to us outside the gates. He just wanted to be alone and away from it all. One can't blame him ...at the time.

Jesus, it looked rough out there, is this what you're talking about, with the fans being abused 0.16 - on.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxYs4ENOLAE

This is the shit the media pedal, they're trying to say that Michael was upset at photographers, not that a girl had been knocked in front of a vehicle and cops were roughing up the fans. B***ards.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - much respect to you guys. Thank you so much for representing.

As a gift from God,
I was able to go to Santa Maria for only one day.
The very special day when Michael Jackson jumped on top the
SUV. I remember when he came back out of the court house,
we all started screaming "MICHAEL WE LOVE YOU!!!!"
You could just feel the ENERGY and LOVE. Michael looked
around at us, he knew each one of us represented one million
other people who could not be their in person. It was then
Michael jumped on top of the SUV; so he could
could see us all better. It was then that I knew in my heart that what Michael Jackson represented could never be killed.
Michael Jackson bought the message that
"There CAN be a Better World", and as Michael looked down on us
from the top of the SUV he knew we had all gotten the message.
He knew we would all continue to fight for that "Better World".

the chumash concert was a diversion for the fans. have them at teh casino so mj's staff could get all his stuff. mike was in the hospital. he wasn't at teh ranch after the verdict. he went that night...he was severely dehydrated, almost died.

he went to las vegas at like 2 in the morning, stayed two wks, and left to bahrain at two inthe morning. he stayed at the wynn....

he needed to find himself again. he needed to get better and heal and come to terms w/ what had happened. he needed to compose himself and be a father and he coudln't do that at the ranch. not after that

OMG, that YouTube video brought back sooooo memories! Thank you for posting that :flowers:

Man, that same day we were outside the courthouse for 15 hours!!! We were freezing, but it was a great day! That was the same day the fiiiirst time I got my first autograph pic from Mike. Aww man, so many memories. This shit is hard...off to cry =(

I would like to say a massive thanks too, to all of you who went and supported Michael. It's something I really wanted to do but just was not possible :sigh:

Even though I wasn't there in person, I was there in spirit.

I also want to add a thank you, as this has been playing on my mind too. I always wanted to be there but couldn't, but always thought the fans who were there did a great job, (I loved the "Smooth but not criminal" sign - amongst others) even when just cheering Mez into court.

:( That makes me soo sad.

I just want to contribute my thanks to everyone who was there at trial reminding Michael that he was loved and supported by many. You guys rock! Personally, the court shorthand that Soso did and the messages by others helped me as well. Otherwise I would have been a wreck, a complete and total mess!

oh chile....remember when i fell asleep during tucker? even kerry was freaked out. damn benadryl! lol

lmfao you fell asleep during tucker? lmfao that must have been something funny to see :hysterical: and who else did you see take the stand? lol that's if you were awake rofl

now hey,i legitimately wanted some u know what in an iv...and rash messed it up. mj being there was a bonus.

i saw all teh cops go on the stand. um...polanker, geragos, tucker, g's aunt, most of the defense....but omg th eday of the fingerprints...sanger's voice...lulled me to sleep tht even melville let us get out early and henever did that.

but yea, after sneddon said that nastything to tucker and he almost went off, i went back to bed. hmmmmmmmmmmm

I also want to thank everyone. I know that it would have been A LOT harder for Michael had he not known how many people believe in him and pray for him every day. Seeing everyone waiting outside when going to and walking out of court must have meant the world to him.

God, I'm crying again just remembering those horrible months...the pressure was awful.

And only 4 years later...

Thank you, a wholehearted thank you to everyone who supported Michael, by being there or just by thinking about him. Even if in a small way, I believe we helped.

Also, thank you for all the stories that have been shared in this thread. Gives a bit of insight to those who couldn't be there in person :flowers:
