We can start by getting a backing track. We could ask Tommy on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/vwtommy unless someone else here is really good at it? Then we can assign lines to each person. Do you want to make a video or just a song?

I think if we all get together and all help we could get this released !! but I want to make a video aswell as the track. The one line per person thing may not work out as not that many people have asked to sing. I would like to sing is the bridge if thats okay :)

I have a idea for the chorus (from what raz2911 posted) that have it like the "what about us" bit from Earth Song.

How about we all sing like We Are The World.

Does the lyrics have to be about Haiti exactly? Or can it be general like Heal The World etc. So we can use this song in memory of all those people... As MJ did.

This is such a wonderful idea. I'm so proud of all of you that are involved.
One of the families I work for have a adopted daughter that they were planning to pick up in June over there but now that's changed. They have headed over this morning to try to find her. Their other 2 adopted daughters also from Haiti won't stop crying & most of the time speak French which I don't understand.

My song is on page 5 and its not specifically about Haiti but does talk about Earthquakes

Okay this is something I put together since the last hour and a half od reading this thread

its only brief and details the chorus, the "whistling" sound is what the vocal melody will be, lyrics for it "The World Is With You, Where Here Tonight, Everything is gonna be alright" at the moment :S

We need to create an idea factory everyone who is in just tell sidewalk then we can MSN together and come up with ideas cuz its all getting lost in here
