Did MJ Find Love In The Dark (continued)

LOL Now see Ash...i was right about missing this marvel of a pic. I knew it was too good not to share. It actually is huge; here you have the link to its original size http://www.mjfcvn.com/gallery/data/media/26/img072.jpg; i resized it cause it would have messed the thread up.

I can't blame ya for loving it though. It is my newest favorite Michael pic; as a matter of fact, i love it so much i have the close-up as wallpaper on one of my phones lol.
God.....

Thanks Shabuya! :D

I'm almost kissing my computer screen. lol! I'm always in love with Michael.  I'll never tire of looking at Michael. :wild:

But I must say that the jacket he wears in that picture is beautiful and wonderful. I loved it.

Hey Shabuya, I'll give my contribution. 2 pictures that I do not get tired of looking at every day (lol!):

To make this thread more beautiful. :wild:

Glad i could be of service Ash *military salute with the wrong hand, switches hands and does it with the right one lol*.

Mhhhh, how should i put this? i have a bit of a tiny prob with the first picture you posted - i'm sorry, but chest hair is a no no as far as i'm concerned, i don't care if you were Michael Jackson or the average guy on the street. I happen to think virility doesn't reside in it, plus....nevermind, i betta shut up now:ph34r:

Now, as far as the second goes - that's a completely different story, love it. Smooth criminal is the first ever vid i saw Michael in, so anything related to it will always have a special place in my heart, even more so in an instance as lovely as the one you done posting. So it's my turn to say thanks. We betta cut it out though all this thx exchange :p I'm sure others have things to contribute with.

I love this picture and I have to give credit to the paparazzi who made this wonderful picture.
Chest hair... mouth.... unshaven... Michael was sooooooooo sexy.... :wild:

Ok, I'll stop here because my thoughts are going too far. lol!

Yes....

The eyes of Michael that I always loved and always found it so beautiful. Well, for me, Michael was more beautiful in this version of Smooth Criminal.

Here is something that you posted back in 2008 that I REALLY loved, mysterygirl7!
 :D

Just wanted to add sonething..

There was a thread about the song Joy, which MJ wrote. The thing is, I don't know if he wrote the lyrics, but the first verse goes like this:

Can't forget the day
That she walked into my life
It was just the kind of thing
That was so right on time
After all the love changes
My heart had locked the door
Then that girl released her magic
And made me love once more, ooh

what do you all think...? Another MJ song that fits in with the others.. right?

Look at the full lyrics! :wild:

Can't forget the day
That she walked into my life
It was just the kind of thing
That was so right on time
After all the love changes
My heart had locked the door
Then that girl released her magic
She made me love once more, ooh

Like the warm rays of the sun
Her sweet love came shining down on me, oh
All at once turned my life around
And with one kiss, she set me free

She's given me joy, joy, joy
That girl, she brings me joy
She's given me joy, joy, joy
Girl you're my joy, yeah

Goodbye loneliness
And so long to my heartache
Now that joy has taken over
And decided to stay

Her love lifts me up
Like no other love before
With every beat of my heart
I'm hold, holding on, yeah

Just look what she's done for me
She's erased all the sadness away, oh
I can never repay the deed
Cuz she keeps lovin' me more and more

She's given me joy, joy, joy
That girl, she brings me joy
She's given me joy, joy, joy
Girl you're my joy

She's given me...

Check one, check two
I can't hold back, I'm in love with you
Check one, check two
There's nothing in the world
that I won't do for you

Check one, check two
Can't hold back, I'm in love with you
Check one, check two

That girl
She's given me joy, joy, joy
Oh girl, I love the way you're lovin' me
She's given me joy joy joy
Yeah
That girl, she's given me joy, joy, joy
Oh girl, said I love the way you're lovin' me
She's given me joy, joy, joy

Yeah, girl you're my joy (Joy)

Here's a link to hear the song being performed by the group, Blackstreet. Hee-hee!!

This thread IS about L.O.V.E~~~

If anyone has "ever" had ANY doubts...I can assure each everyone of us that Mr.Jackson has ALWAYS been a "VERY NORMAL" MAN..!

As Always

please stay on topic, without the unnecessary arguing. thanks.

Quote of the day from Biblegateway.com, eh? :cheeky: Nice quote, love it.

Meant to thank ya for them Michael W. Smith and CeCe Winans links the other day. I gotta admit i wasn't familiar with any other song of hers except the duet she did with Whitney for the Waiting to exhale soundtrack - count on me. She is amazing, that performance you gave the link for, amazing - true talent and true praise.

And to come back on topic...a most marvelous discovery from the Vietnamese thread, in case anyone missed it lol.

Dear Shabuya,

As many already know I am a very deep & spiritual person, although I was born and raised a strict Irish Catholic...I enjoy "researching", "learning" about "many" genre of faiths, cultural backrounds etc.

Actually the source is http://journeydeeperin2godsword.wordpress.com/ The Bible page founded by Rev Mark Brown - http://www.facebook.com/MarkBrown.page

Therefore, to answer your inquiry I found and have this site on my facebook wall.

Here, here - that's very good, i totally agree with you about the research and study; i know it may not always seem so lol, don't wanna go into that any further though cause it would be too o/t. Nice to hear about those two pages. Then it was mere coincidence cause, as i said, that was the quote of the day on biblegateway.com :flowers: God bless :)

Returning to the subject of the thread now - I remember that long time ago, it might have been MP, i'm not sure, but it was proposed as idea that maybe that new/old love that Michael had found was an answer to the pain in Who is it and I thought that maybe the question in Who is it? was answered by This is it; I know that by the 'it' in Who is it Michael meant to other guy, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless. It may not always be comfortable for someone to be the cure for the 'disease' brought about by others, but one would have to live in complete isolation to not have some sort of baggage when entering into a relationship, except, of course, the very first one.

We all are individuals and we like to be cherished as such and comparisons (especially when it comes to ex's) can be annoying, but human beings are imperfect and at the end of the day is only natural for some to relate to the past and project onto new realities the fears and the pains associated with other experiences. The problem arises when some, because of previous failures, disappointments and disenchantments give up all together on the idea of love; but that's oh so very and tragically wrong (for those who feel that way) cause it ain't about what we lost, or what was taken from us, but about the love we can still give.

What I also believe is wrong is to put such a huge burdain on someone as to have your whole life revolving around them; I actually think that is very demanding on the other person – they will never be able to live up to all the expectations and that is why i've always had a problem with one lyric in I just can't stop loving you – my life ain't worth living if I can't be with you. I know it's an expression for the beatitude which is love, but what about the times when the impossible is a reality, what about people without anybody? Life is worth living NO MATTER WHAT. Having said that, life gets even more worthwhile when you have someone to lend a hand to in return for grace, as my boys from U2 said :p or someone who cares enough to scold, as Michael said.

It can be magical to have someone quietly enter the house so you can't hear him while you're in the kitchen all dressed up/down (whoever you view such things) in your apron cooking his favorite dish and as he walks in on you sippin' on the food he gently grabs you by the waist and gives you a kiss. I know nowadays young girls are taught that success is measured in diplommas and career advancement and cooking is such an 18th century occupation, but I disagree. I feel we (and by this I mean not only women, but people in general) lost our moral and social compass. In our quest for equality, we might have lost track. We might have been emancipated, but maybe in the process, somewhere along the way, we forgot how to be women and how to appreciate men at their true value – they aren't enemies that need to be competed against, but partners to build families with and try to make a better world.

I got two links I wanna share with y'all – Live like we're dying http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WnmNvbomQE&feature=related from Kris Allen (I understand he won American Idol), I really love this song, such a positive message and Lydon David Hall (God rest his soul) with All you need is love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jomZXJkySVA .

At the very end that's the truth – all we really need IS love, so don't take anything (any breath, any new sunset and new day) or anyone for granted cause tomorrow may never come and remember to always say it when you mean it to those you hold dear and say it with all your heart

True Lily..

By the way, can't wait till you write another one of your wonderful posts.. the ones that give hope in the dark.. :flowers:

Thank you mysterygirl7. :)

I'm not sure what to write in here anymore. I think lyrics can have such a broad interpretation and dual meaning that unless the answer comes from the creator, we will never know. I mean who would of thought "Got to Get You Into My Life" by the Beatles was about smoking pot. I learned something new yesterday LOL. Oh well.....

Not a day goes by that I don't think about how Michael impacted my life in some way, it could be hearing one of his songs, seeing something that triggers remembering his messages.....but the thing is, I didn't know him personally, he was a part of my life, he wasn't my life. I told someone that reached out and spoke to me privately in June that love never dies, it is the one thing that will always be forever in our heart. I love Michael, the creative artist and humanitarian. I want to remember all of the positive things he taught and gifted us with and move past my anger, disgust, and dwelling on things that can never be changed. Each moment that I stopped living since then is lost now and what if I missed out on creating for myself beautiful memories by not sharing of myself and living life to it's fullest just as he taught us to do? I choose to live just as I did prior to June, mindfully, meaningfully and from my heart.
I hope that everyone can find their joy and happiness in life and I hope that people continue to live and share with others what we were all born with, the pure and innocent love that is within each one of our hearts. :)

Interesting how Janets new song "Nothing" sounds very Michael-like, lyrically and vocally? :music:

I haven't heard Janet's new song. I guess I'll have to go search it up to hear. Or maybe some day I could turn on the radio and listen. It's probably playing there right?

Thank you for sharing what you had in your post about living your life from your heart and meaningfully. I think that's exactly how we should. Michael had many gifts to share with us and I think the most important gift was his message of love for the world and love for others. It may not have been in every song he sang, but it was in a great many and in many things he said and how he lived. I think that is what drew so many of us to him and what many of us fell in love with about him as a human being. He genuinely cares. It's beautiful.

So.. I guess this kind of goes along the same topic. I'm going to be going on a hunger strike to help raise funds to feed hungry children. I posted it in the world vision thread of Susan's (sdeidjs). http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81722&page=3 here. If anyone can donate and would like to, it goes through world vision to hungry children. "For every $75 dollars raised , 250 children will receive nutritional lunches for two months".

Also to update my friends in here in case you may not see, since I mostly post in this thread and rarely elsewhere, my movie will have it's world premiere on September 17th 2010. From there I don't know what happens. There is more information to come but that's all I know so far. This is the thread if you'd like to read more about it: http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78981
Thank you to anyone who is following and for the support you've all shown me regarding the movie (and otherwise. I remember many prayers when I needed them most from some wonderful kind people from this thread who I am proud to consider as friends). Some of the pain I felt during those times when I most needed prayer is seen through my acting in this movie as I used those memories to draw my emotion from. I guess that is a lot to share but I felt I should. Those were some deep deep valleys I was in and your prayers lifted me up out of them. So thank you all for that. I wish we all didn't have to endure this new pain (it still feels so new). I wish I could have been here for everyone the same as you had for me, but I ended up withdrawing from here more than anything. It's just hard to understand.

I really hope that we'll always share our love of Michael together, no matter where we all are...and not a superficial love for a celebrity, but a love of the wonderful man he was to us and the beauty he emitted and brought out of each of us. I'm always reminded of his story of the thirsty fish.

If I can find it online, I'll share it here later.

You are perfectly right about Michael's most important gift - he truly loved and he truly cared, which was amazing, given how the world and people treated him so many times.

Don't even worry bout nothing, we all do what we can and when we can, it's all cool. I can only speak for myself and say how proud i am to call you my friend, but i'm sure others feel the same way :)

The cause you are fighting for is more than worthwhile, but please take care with that hunger strike, your children need you. There must be ways to help others without hurting the self in the process...please take care. God bless you.

Answer: No........ :(

*big sigh*

I miss you Michael..... :(

:) Thank you Shabuya and Ashtanga. Ash, if you want to participate, you can donate by pressing the donate button on the world vision page and then follow the instructions. If you want to participate in the fast/hunger strike you can contact Jordan, who is the one who started it and express your interest in participating. You pick the amount of time you'll fast for (you do get to have fruit or vegetable juices, but no solid foods) and he designates the time you'll do it which I don't believe there is anyone going after me yet.

Shabuya, I'll be alright. It's not going to be easy but it will give me more of an idea of what they go through without food and still going to school to learn, but for them, they are young and still have growing bodies so it would be so much more difficult.

It's easy to get overwhelmed with wanting to help out in so many areas, there is so much to get passionate about and so much injustice in the world that it's hard to know where to focus your passions or even feel that you can make a difference. Sometimes it feels you're nothing but a drop of water in the ocean, but there have been many times when individuals have made a difference. Michael Jackson is one such individual. I don't know if he managed to find someone to love and the love of that one, but I do know that we all fell in love with the wonderful man he always was. We all have potential to make a difference in this world. It may not reach all corners of the earth, but as long as it reaches further than just yourself, you will be making a difference.

I think that is one reason so many women wanted to give him love and be the love in his life to make a difference in his, because he made a difference to so many. Sometimes we felt it was the only way to give back to him. To be able to personally touch him in a way that made a difference to his life and in his heart because he touched ours, and many more. We don't have to necessarily give directly to him to pay him back for his kindness and love, we can 'pay it forward' as the saying goes.

When it can go out to reach others, that is when we can be a droplet of water in the ocean that does more than just disappear amid the rest of the water. We become the drop that makes a ripple that continues on to reach way beyond what we could reach on our own. That's when we make the biggest difference and when we all become that ripple, we can cause a Tsunami of difference, but instead of destruction, we can leave in our wake, a path of peace and hope and helping hands. So even when it feels like such a small thing to do, it can make the needed difference.

I want also to write "My feelings" a lot. I should study English....

Taroa, here is a website that can really help if you need to translate your feelings to English when you feel you can't express well enough directly in English. Write out your feelings in your native language and then translate to English to post if you'd like.
http://translate.google.com/# I hope it helps.

Oh my goodness. 24 DAYS??? How can you? and just in the middle of it? Are you alright? I've never done anything more than a day and I get so hungry so I'm nervous, but determined. 72 hours is nothing in the big scheme of things but a month..wow. I wasn't sure I read that right. So can you give me pointers? I feel silly even asking now since mine is just 3 days.

To APE: Am I all right? *laughs* Yes. I know of several who have done extended fasts, 30, 40 day fasts, and their health remained fine. My friend was telling me the other day she wished her husband would go on another fast because he always says while fasting he feels the best he's ever felt and he is in a good mood throughout. Haha.

You can do this, Ape. I never could do more than one day before either, but I knew I had to do this, and like I said, God has given me the grace. When I go to bed I am so happy and thankful to Him for helping me do it for yet another day. I do get cold in the evening and I was warned of that, so I do allow myself a warm drink to warm me up, like I'll heat apple of pear juice, or I have these vegan vegetable bouillons, with no salt added, that I'll add to 2 cups boiling water, or I'll even have 1 cup of caffeine free tea with a little milk. I just get sooo cold. The reason why I go ahead and add some milk is because I have read one gal's account that explained when those that are fasting for long periods of time need to maintain enough energy to go to work...for life does not stop while you are fasting...a glass of non-fat milk is helpful. I never have a whole glass, but I do have it in the tea. And I warm right up.

What I was worried that I'd have trouble with is the preparing of food/meals for others, but I am finding I can do that fine...the temptation is not too great. Like I say, life doesn't stop. I had to, a week ago, help with my son's school and clean some classrooms. That can be fairly physical, so I gulped beforehand a few ounces of a protein enriched drink just to give me the needed boost. I wanted to fulfil my obligation to them for I was scheduled to do that. There are times when I feel very, very tired. But then I just drink some juice and go to bed early.

So, there ya are. Can you let me know when you will be on it and I'll pray for you during that time?

PS: Sdeidjs, funny you should post that song, I was just earlier today getting into that trap of thinking of some "what if's" about my past and then ended my daydreaming with my saying to myself...but that Butterfly Effect!!!...dangerous to try to change the past...

How sweet is THAT...!

As Always
