Susie, I was actually wondering where u had gone. I know you are busy with exams (btw, congrats for that algebra thing), but it sure is nice to see ya back round here. I'm quite the hypocrite, as always, cause I wasn't gonna post anything myself if it weren't for what you said. This thing has been on my mind for a few days now and it also relates to Moddie's dream a few pages back – the whole “hands/holding hands” leitmotif. I wasn't gonna write anything though cause i'm sure it has been discussed already, but in between the two of you... I assume it won't be too big of a problem if I use this opportunity as an alibi of sorts to post some Michael vid links and a couple of pics in between lol.

It is but a mere observation and I could very well be forgeting some songs, and as I said, this has most probably been discussed, but the entire theme of holding hands has been present throughout Michael's career: as early as 'I reach out my hand to you, I have faith in all you do' in I'll be there (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgBneZIe_Hs), to Human nature 'reaching out to touch a stranger' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjW32XJe4j4), 'but first I need your hand, then forever can begin' - which imho is one of the most beautiful lyrics ever – in You are not alone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jva4mGrXozY&feature=related) to the first line in Break of dawn (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7xEy_977Xg&feature=related), to Whatever happens (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLxs1l3l4HE&feature=related) and Hold my hand (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cX3l4fc-aM) both of which revolve around this particular theme. I think that's very interesting and sweet, although not entirely surprising since this is one of the most frequent patterns used in songs and poetry – the inescapable need of those in love to be there for each other and to express that reasurance by holding hands.

Since I promised some pics here go a couple from THE movie, one from Smooth criminal, another which is very special to me cause it used to be a poster I had for many years on my wall (I hadn't seen this one in quite some time) and a lil funny thing done by Fujon (he/she always comes up with the funniest siggies lol) I accidentaly found in my Michael pics folder the other day. That particular 'pic' I guess answers a question a few pages back about Michael's romantic nature lol.

Peace and Love folks, love in all its beautiful facets – agape, philia, eros, storge – love for God, His creation, family and friends, strangers and foes, the one your heart longs for. And if there isn't such a person in your life right now, fear not, for one sweet day, sooner or later, one way or another, they will arrive. God bless.

:better: Me too... Back in time and be a little older. lol! :wild: :punk: Unfortunately not yet invented a time machine. :( It would be wonderful to go back in time....

When was the pic of MJ and Marcel Marceau taken and where are they? The more we know about the picture, the more clues we may find.
Maybe the videos will help:

I'm just recovering this because yesterday I was looking at my collection MJ (some magazines Black & White)...

Marcel Marceau and Michael met for the second time on April 19, 1997 in Samid in museum "Grévin" (France). :wild:

I scanned my computer the report and I just wanted to share:

Who in the heck said that? Well, to tell you the truth, I wasn't 100% sold on going back to the 80's anyway; the fashions never really did become me. I mean who really wants to go back to mullets, big hair, using primary colors for makeup and shoulder pads?

Edit: Hey, I bumped us up to page 600! Hooraaay!

Edit II: Uh ... BTW, I just looked up that quote and found out who said (or actually I should say "sang") that line. Rut ro! I'ma gonna be toast now! Yikes!:mello:

Shabuya,

You are absolutely right to pick up on Michael's song with theme's or lyrics about Holding hands and relate it with my latest dream. I also thought of the same thing when I woke up that morning and afterwards too.

Many times in Michael's songs he talks about "Needing her hand", "Holding hands" with someone special or the need to touch them most times he follows those lyrics with clues about his own interpretation and meaning of the "Hand Holding/Needing Her hand lyrics" he has just sang about. In other words, Michael has told us more than once, the importance of him holding her particular hand means the ultimate committment to him. Marriage. Being One with Her.

This also shows, Our Michael took a very old school approach in this relationship. Which also indicates his seriousness about this love with this special lady.

Men who know they are ready and willing to take that next ultimate step usually rely on everything their "mama" taught them about love, women, relationships, marriage and committment. It comes out in everything they do when they are bitten with the " I am ready to marry you bug".

Alot of Michael's songs and clues about love make me wonder how much of an influence his mother had on how he "showed" his love for this woman. When men have found "The one", Mama is among the first to know. He seeks out her approval and guidance in most cases without asking. It is a silent understanding between mother and son. Mama's usually sense when their son is about to share his soul and his life with another female. She can see the change in her creation.

I grew up in an Era, where older folks use to always say, "Pay attention to how a man treat his mother, because thats an indicator of how he will treat you".

If thats the case: This woman was on the verge of having EVERYTHING Michael could give. And his own clues tell us, this is exactly what he wanted.

What a lovely thought Susie.

Hectic life says you, eh? I wrote the definition on that one. Nope, j/k, but I understand. It's good to know you are around. Thanks for that wonderful quote. It is one of my favorites from Michael. When reading your post I remembered that was the quote put in the box in which I received some bracelets last August.

Nice to see this thread gainin' some momentum. Was about friggin time lol. Toasts with MP and everyone else here cause it's page 600, but since it's Lent imma have a nice big glass of non-alcoholic champaigne (like the ones for kids with giraffes and stuff lol) y'all have whateva u like. :D

No comment on the big hair, the ultra makeup and the huge shoulder pads from the 80s - i was told it's better to shut up when you have nothin nice to say. But then again, they also say you outta shut up and make people think you're an idiot, rather than opening the mouth and proving it. I kinda got this last part wrong, more than once.:cheeky:

Super cute pic Ash, thanks a bunch. Let's put it this way - i know a thing or two about cats lol. Also thanks for them B&W mag scans. I also got quite a few numbers, really great magazine.

Moddie, I'm glad you think I didn't post utter nonsense. Today I realized I missed two other songs from that list – The way you love me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWu5lOiLZxQ) and Remember the time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWPmOdjEtxs).

About the marriage dimension which you spoke about. Take a second look at that I'll be there video I posted yesterday. Most especially at 00:21 and look at Michael's left hand, what he does with his fingers when he sings the word (b)rrring, after the line 'you and I must make a pact'. But then again, maybe i'm just seeing things.

Wouldn't it be funny if that was actually his brilliantly overt way of proposing to her? What if all them hundreds of thousands of people who saw the movie three years ago in theatres all across the world were wittnessing, blissfully unaware of course, THE most artisticaly sublime marriage proposal in history? People have done all kinda things - jumpin' from buildings, puttin' messages in the sky, gettin' friends and family to do flash mob dancing...but to put such a 'statement' on the big screen right underneath everyone's nose? Well, it takes a certain degree of creativity and a rather playful and ornery character to do that and Michael was full of those two.

What makes that even more extraordinary though is the possibility of them having never met or spoken, as it has been suggested. In that case, it does make one wonder - what on earth was so doggone special about her he would be compelled to 'propose' to her without actually having spent a minute with her in real life? Things that make ya go mmmh.....

It might've been the most awesome proposal ever, but it also became the most tragic. How sad is it to get such a message from beyond the grave??? Although it is beyond tragic their story couldn't come to that amazing ultimate fruition, it must be comforting for her to know that she was loved by the most wonderful man in the world. As it is with Michael's family, it must also be awful for her. We lost a hero and an inspiration, but she lost THE man of her life. I would hope she finds some solace in the fact that she brought him happiness. God bless her and God bless Michael always.

Love IS the ultimate truth at the heart of all creation. Michael was 1000000% right.

P.S. And had Michael survived that dreadful day, who is to say what her answer might have been? Everyone takes for granted a 'yes'. How could anyone be dumb enough to say otherwise, right? What if in a cold, completely rational cost-benefit analysis she reached the conclusion that the media's viciousness, the curiosity of fans and public which crippled so much of Michael's life as well as his own flaws were all too much to take? Especially if, words and songs and hidden messages were all the things she got out of this 'love'? I guess we'll never really know.....

Thanks for wonderful pictures. :) The man really has an incredible beauty. It is a work of art. He will always be the collyrium for my eyes.

I can only imagine what our romantic Michael is doing with his left finger in that video.

I can't view it.

Can someone be a doll and break it down for me?

I can just picture it in my head, lol.

Here is something that the Holy Spirit revealed to me in 2008 about Michael's gifts during that time period.

20-07-2008, 09:04 PM (Post #2430)
When Michael is entertaining, the multiple gifts that he have get to work at full capacity. When he is not, they don't, but they also do not leave either.

Right now, they are not being used. They're just going wherever he goes and waiting.
Michael got a chance to use his multiple gifts while working on "This Is It." This is why the movie came out so nicely as the final major project that MJ was able to leave for his fan base before crossing over.

This next 2008 post is what the Holy Spirit revealed to me about how MJ worked with musicians once music came to him.

08-05-2008, 06:43 PM (Post #12)
Don't forget, he said he is the medium through which the music comes...

If we really think about what he is saying, then we will realize there are most likely a series of things that must take place after the music comes to him.

He said he dictates into his little tape recorder the sounds of the instruments that he's hearing in his head.

Well, if this is the first part of the process, then the next part is going to be piecing the sounds together. For instance, a big part of the process is probably getting skilled musicians to mimic the sounds of the instruments that he is hearing. Also, if he's hearing a song in its totality in his head, and recording the individual sounds with a little hand-held tape recorder, the songs are first being recorded diced up.

He won't be able to put the songs back together until he gets into a recording studio with skilled musicians that can play the different instruments he's hearing. He will also have to record the music while the musicians are playing it, and before they can actually play it, he must first teach them what their individual parts sound like. They can't hear what's in his head, only he can. Therefore, he will have to walk them through it step by step.

He will also have to put together something like a rough draft of a song...which he refers to as raggedy...so he can hear the song outside of his head. In other words, he most likely needs to be able to hear the song inside of the room. And until he can hear the song inside of the room, he can't fine tune it

I remember him saying during an interview that getting a song to sound exactly like what he's hearing in his head is the hardest part.

Well, if getting a song to sound as closely as possible to what he's hearing in his head is the hardest part, he most likely is not going to be satisfied with it until he feels he's got a pretty close match. And if he's not satisfied with it, he is not going to pass it on to us.

I bet when he's being very meticulous, he is probably trying to perfect the songs that have come to him in this manner. I bet when he is using extra care while recreating the songs (i.e., bringing them to life), it's probably when the songs are coming to him with both music and lyrics because it's coming to him interwoven. The more complex the song is, the more time it will take to perfect.

http://mjjcommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50334&page=1

Think about MJ working with the musicians during the "This Is It" rehearsal for "The Way You Make Me Feel" and you will notice that he was doing some of the above while he was laying out the intro for the stage performance.

Just thought I'd share these posts with you all. My thoughts recently went back to these particular posts, and I guess God is still trying to let us know that Michael has indeed made it to His home.

Michael is a man that truly believed in the Lord before he passed over, and he also used his gifts in a very loving way while he was here on earth. Because he used his multiple gifts in a very loving way, he was allowed to go out on top.
