Tha once again I agree with you, I think that in the communication by internet, Michael can be himself (I say as a person and not as the artist), because those who are on the other side will not know who he is, don't will elevate it to a superior level, and he will treated as an equal... which makes me believe that this is what makes Michael feel comfortable, be treated as a common person and not as an unattainable or higher (as it requires much) and creates a barrier that prevents he from being who he is, for fear of causing some disappointment in the person who sees it as a superior being

And Summer, your story about the nice young man and his coffee offer touched me very much as well. I know what you were feeling. It seems that the gals with all the poise and finesse in those situations are the outgoing ones who are asked out all the time and are quite practiced at it. The shyer ones seem to be asked out so rarely that when something like this happens, they are at a loss on what to say and often find that they end up regretting how they handled it afterwards. Experienced ones are not thrown by it, inexperieced ones become quite thrown, flustered, and do not represent themselves accurately at the moment...giving someone the wrong idea of who they really are. But Summer, one day, one day... it is going to happen for you; I'm not just sayig this to say it, but you are a quality young lady...enough of you shows through here in your posts, and one day the right guy is going to see that. EDIT: Lorraine, thank you for this reminder. The only thing that was said by Justus was that MJ "viewed" this thread. And I mentioned that Trish said MJ was computer savvy and probably getting around on the internet. My dream interpretation was implying that MJ somewhere on the internet could have been interacting with his love interest (IF she exists), and, nothing was said to indicate that "she" is even a fan....just that they may have communicated somewhere online. Just a dream interpretation; not fact.

I had some random thoughts again while grocery shopping this morning :ermm: LOL

Here it goes....


Do you ever think about what feeds the soul?

Is it creating a work of art that you visualize in your mind and bring to life with patience and pure love to share with others?

Is it sitting still by the ocean shore with the sound of forceful waves crashing, yet below the surface there is a calm magical beauty and an abundance of life we are so unaware of?

Is it the vivid moon that illuminates the universe so brightly seen the same by each one of us no matter where in the world we stand or the sunset off in the distance that fades into the night behind rolling hills only to rise again at the dawning of a new day?

Or is it witnessing the miraculous beauty of nature all around with flowers blooming, birds singing sweet melodies, delicate butterflies taking to flight, or a grasshopper sitting on a leaf staring at you as you talk to it and all you can think to yourself is, “what is IT thinking”? LOL

Is it the precious cries, laughter and smiles from a child, emotions and pure love so innocent and untainted by a world they have yet to discover?

Is it simply a “hello” or “good morning” accompanied by a smile to a complete stranger that you pass by as you go about your day, or a gift of a warm coat or a meal to show someone that people DO still care?

Is it a gentle breeze that blows over your being as if it’s whispering to you the secrets of Mother Earth?

Is it one of the most beautiful natural wonders, a sign of hope, a rainbow that appears in the beauty of a waterfall or in the dark of a storm through tear drops that rain down from Heavens Angels and a brief ray of sunlight, like magic, it’s endless and can be seen by all for miles and miles?

Or is it lyrics of a song written by a complete stranger but it’s as if they were written just for you. Touching you so deep to your core as if to take you to a place that allows you to dream or maybe even someplace new that teaches you something still undiscovered about yourself? Here's some food for thought. On the Internet, Michael can be himself, or even pretend to be someone else. He could communicate with some woman, and she wouldn't have a clue as to who he really is. That way, he could have "tested" her, find out things about her personality - and find out if she connects with him on a very raw level....she wouldn't know just who he is, but what if she told him that she loved him? After months of communicating, she got to know stuff about "him" and just found that connection, and stated how she felt? And he told her? But never told her exactly who he was?

Not all of us women or people are motivated by fame or money....we all have a chance to connect to one another on a very raw, very fundamental, very human level. What if she saw those things in him, without knowing exactly who it was she was talking to? And she didn't care either way?

I love it, and wish I could have heard this when I was younger. It would have changed me to hear, I think, in a good way. I wouldn't have felt I had to change who I was in order to please anyone else. I used to be quite gifted in art and when other kids got jealous and reacted in a mean or upset way towards me because of it, I didn't put the same effort into it. I thought I was making them feel bad by being able to do something well so I didn't try so hard. Pretty sad now that I think about it. I wonder where I could be now had I not let them get to me and let myself shine.

Thank you MP. It is true. I for one am not the type to be motivated by anything other than the true nature of someone's personality and good nature. If one is spiritually pure and is a good talker/listener, that means more to me than anything material on this earth.

Linda yes I agree with you. Though I don't know that it would be only a couple months. It takes so long to get to know a person well. I would think even longer online. I could see it though, but I could also see someone wondering this, and it not being true. I have had people believe I am Michael Jackson (feel free to laugh if you wish..lol) though I tell them I am not, actually more times than I'd imagine. First happened the first day I ever chatted. I know I am not him, but anyone online might take a while longer to figure out that I'm just who I say I am.

I will also admit to thinking someone might be him online. It wasn't someone who said they were him or who most people would imagine to be him. I just have a really wild imagination sometimes and when I see coincidences they play on my mind till I have some scenario figured out (right or wrong). So anyways, this makes me well aware of how it can happen online where we are all faceless, mostly nameless, voiceless people. I do understand someone who just meets me (especially when I want to remain anonymous) think I am other than who I am. All we really know each other by is our words. It's easy enough to wonder about. The truth though, is only really known by ourselves isn't it? .. and those who know us in person. :)

That's how I first heard of her too. Made some of the same mistakes you did too, trying to 'shrink' myself, or my energy or exhuberence (sp) just so others wouldn't feel 'threatened' because it happened so easily it seemed. Took a lot of hard lessons on that one. Reading this back then would have possibly helped me understand what was going on too. She's had some interesting things to say about growing older. I find her to be a big help now too. :)

In reading back through, I just wanted to point out, this is a very good example of what I'd been trying to say earlier when I mentioned that it may have had something to do with "her" way - meaning her way of responding to things of this nature. Thanks for sharing this sweet story. This is exactly what I was talking about.

"She" may have "freaked out", "left", "resisted", etc., (whatever the specific was) because it was a guy rather than per se because it was MJ. I don't know if you had this in mind when you thought to post this, but maybe some things "dawned" on her too, giving rise to the line that says, "you said you wanted to go with me all the while" which indicates she had a chance to tell him why she did what she did.

This post represents well, what I'd been trying to say. There are still some women in the world who are not going to chase after a guy, jump at the chance, rush in head-long, or whatever it may be. Those with "old fashioned" training. Makes all the sense in the world to me anyway. This scenario seems to really fit the song too!

No, I didn't really think about it from that point of view....I was actually first just trying to reply to the post asking why he couldn't contact someone he loved (or maybe "love" is too strong of a word, if it was someone he didn't know THAT well...maybe a "crush" could be a better word?). So you know, I was trying to think of an example of how someone could have a crush on a person and NOT be able to contact them. So I came up with the "Disney store person" idea...But then that reminded me of something that happened to me when I was younger (the "coffee story" happened about 13 years ago...:lol:) so I decided to share that because in my opinion it was a good example of how you can like someone and have brief contact...but then not be able to contact them anymore. So you know, I thought if something like that happens to "normal" people...why not MJ?

Is it simply a “hello” or “good morning” accompanied by a smile to a complete stranger that you pass by as you go about your day, or a gift of a warm coat or a meal to show someone that people DO still care?

Is it a gentle breeze that blows over your being as if it’s whispering to you the secrets of Mother Earth?

Is it one of the most beautiful natural wonders, a sign of hope, a rainbow that appears in the beauty of a waterfall or in the dark of a storm through tear drops that rain down from Heavens Angels and a brief ray of sunlight, like magic, it’s endless and can be seen by all for miles and miles?

Or is it lyrics of a song written by a complete stranger but it’s as if they were written just for you. Touching you so deep to your core as if to take you to a place that allows you to dream or maybe even someplace new that teaches you something still undiscovered about yourself? I do think about stuff like that...but what I keep thinking about the most is what our PURPOUSE of being here is. I mean...when you think how big the universe is. Why are WE here? Is our purpouse to go to school, go to work...eat, sleep, study/work...and then die? And then the next generation does it all over again? I mean, is there some "ultimate goal" for our planet and for us? And then also...they say the universe keeps expanding...but if it does...where is it expanding TO? Doesn't that mean there is something BEYOND the universe..? :scratch:But could that be? :scratch:Anyways. :lol:
 
Oh I mean the truth about ourselves. I hope I know my own truth..lol.. and about it taking a while to get to know someone. I mean I would imagine it would take a while to get to know someone well enough to trust and then fall in love, or at least realize you are in love. Maybe it would feel like it's instant, but then to jump into that might not be smart. But like the new song says, it took a while. Or at least that was my interpretation of it. I could be wrong.

EDITing in: I keep posting then see posts that were posted while I was writing mine. I liked your story too Summer, I mean MJ..lol. Guess we are ALL MJ, how proud he would be!!

I've thought of this too and could it be that we are here for God? Maybe he felt lonely. If we think about our children (or your niece/nephew) and you watch them play, you watch them interact, that's something special to have. You feel sad when they don't get along, you can feel at your wits end when they are defiant, and you can feel your heart well up with love when you see them loving each other and caring for each other. When they sincerely want to make you proud and love you ... that's maybe what this world is about. We can warm God's heart maybe, and also break it at times, just as we do with each other.
