In my opinion, something happened that he is not saying that gave him these feelings toward her at the time which was almost twenty years ago.

In the book, he said paraphasing here she told him what they were and were not going to do or go. She wanted to remake him. She was too sexually agressive. She would be mean to his fans if they wanted an autograph even if the fans were children. She would tell them to go away. She would call him up at and she would say that she is putting her fingers between he legs. He would say Madonna PLEASE. She would say I want you to rub yourself and think of me. When he would see her again she would say this is the finger I used last night. She would show him books of women in bondage. He just did not like that. He was a romantic. He felt there should be some mystery in a relationship and marriage. So it doesn't get boring. He felt couples shouldn't spend every moment together so you can miss one another. He also thought a relationship should be innocent and not do everything and anything with your bodies. He does contradict himself somewhat. We all do don't we.
He was HUMAN HUMAN HUMAN. I am still a fan.

The sad thing is Madonna WAS a predator then. Did you see Truth or dare? What she did to Antonio Banderas...lol She just wanted to F the guy, no matter what.

Like I said, she's changed a lot so that's a good thing.

I am sure all her issues can be traced to her losing her mother at a young age.

Just like most of MJ's issues can be traced to his dad & brothers. :no:

Thanks for posting these quotes. I think I will borrow the book from the library. I didn't want to buy it...but I want to read it. I like the way MJ sounds about being romantic. I wish more men were like that.

I agree with you on that. I love how she changed with Ray of Light era. She's still cool nowadays too. :p

Her brother did write a book about his sister. Very telling.

I'm still shocked that she told him to "shut up" seeing how polite and soft spoken Michael was. Then again, she told kids to go away. That's a big no no for Michael. He loved kids. Treating a child like that is the ulimate bad.

I posted these, because people are making a big deal out of nothing. This happened almost twenty years ago. Two young rich immature young people. Both had changed a great deal. Madonna is not offended, because she new what happened back then. That is why she did the tribute. They could have made up after these tapes were done. This is my opinion of course.
 
^ And besides, Madonna has been incredibly critical on her own behavior from back then. She has said in many interviews she couldn't believe what a materialistic- obnioxious - bitch she was back then. She hated what she was and is a happier spritual person today.

After all what Michael said about Madonna it makes me feel even more that all charities she’ has done were more for public image. I kinda figured it out before. It looked fake from the beginning. I wish her to be a better person but I do not thing that ppl change that much.

well you have read the book so you have insight on it that others don't. plus... there are so many other things in the book that are more important.

but only the salacious things will get a sound bite from the media which will then blow it out of proportion.

i didn't read these sections you have posted. i think i will spend a good portion of the day reading the rest of the stuff at the book store tomorrow and make some notes so i can post them.

everyone is making a big deal about the nasty witch comment and such but he also reflected on how motherhood might have changed her... he was leaving room in his mind and heart that even though she was a certain way earlier that she might have matured... changed.

IMO.

I'm hoping once the dust settles his fans and her fans will see it is no big deal. She made a statement through her publicist what she said about MJ at the VMA's is what she means.
 
the relationship Michael had with Rose Fine his childhood tutor was very touching.
from what i remember......

we all know MJ hated flying... had a tremendous fear... he talked about how his father wouldn't comfort or be there ..... but that she was. Rose would comfort him, hold his hand, and just show love.

she would take her had and hold his hand... THAT MEANT THE WORLD to him.

she would travel with them all over the world.... he/they would perform and afterwards mike would go to her room. she always left the door to her room open for MJ.... she told him the "door was always open" for him. he would go after performing in the shows..
she would give him warm milk and be there for him like a mother.

he truly loved her. mike and janet took care of rose and her husband until her death and when the recordings took place the husband was still alive and mike was taking care of all of the expenses and needs.

that is the type of man he was....... no media will mention that.
 
i took a couple of hours and read the book at the bookstore today.

Mostly, I just read the convos with Michael and $chmuley. That was interesting.

But I HATED when $chmuley would insert his opinion in parentheses, sometimes in Michael's comments. This was mostly to contradict Michael's comments.

$chmuley none too subtly opined that Elvis was far bigger than Michael and thought that Michael was delusional in thinking that he was the biggest star of his generation.

After I was done reading it, I hid all the copies of the book all over the bookstore. *hee-hee*

I'm definitely saving money for someone!

I knew Michael wrestled and climbed stuff when he played around, but I never thought he preferred his girls on the tomboyish side rather than the manicure type. :dancin:

i can only imagine his shock on & after june 25th. Most have been a harsh wake up call.

That rabbi strikes me as a jealous person. He was probably pissed that MJ cut all ties with him.
 
I can't believe this. This is ridiculous. When were these tapes recorded?

The way I see it... Michael is talking about Madonna like a teenager would his ex-girlfriend that he had a bad breakup with. Now, Madonna may have tried to provoke Michael to see if he was really that childlike and to test his apparent lack of interest in sex - that's what Madonna pretty much did with the world at the time, by the way - and Michael may have got a bad taste in his mouth because of what she did. But it's not the end of the world.

She NEVER trashed him publicly apart from some very toned-down comments on Jonathan Ross' talkshow. I strongly doubt Madonna would go on stage at the VMAs and say those things about Michael unless she believed it. Now, we have no idea what Michael would have said about Madonna if he'd been asked by a journalist or another one of his friends. And we have no idea what happened between them after he made those comments to that silly Rabbi.

So let's just forget about all this - it's not who Michael was anyway! Michael was not the kind of person to badmouth people publicly, and it's a shame that some of his former friends and colleagues feel a need to leak old material and put him a bad light. In my book, these tapes only make Michael appear in a bad light... you can't hold a grudge for that long, that's just stupid and it doesn't go with what he always said about forgiving people. So I'm sure there's more to the story and I'm sure he didn't mean what he said.

Madonna is an incredible artist and an individual who's played a huge part in changing the way society looks at sex - for the better - and in later years, has pioneered humanitarian work in places of the world that no one else dared to touch. She is multi-faceted and multi-talented, and she obviously loved Michael a lot. Let's not talk about this anymore - and let's not do to Madonna what the world did to Michael!
 
it would be nice for people who have not read the book to stop criticizing Mike.

go to your local book store, read the MJ parts, and put the book back , may be even hide it when you are done.

but i am sick an tired of people criticizing MJ without knowing what he said in entirety.

why don't people stop getting so defensive about Madonna and start supporting Mike just a little.

when mike doesn't talk publicly people trash him and say if he had been more accessible... if he had express his feelings more....

then this tape comes out and we are bashing him, we are criticizing him, and we are JUDGING him for (OMG- HUMAN EMOTIONS) really? he's not allowed to be human?

If anyone wants to judge Mike from some snippets and sound bites... go read the frickin book.

and by the way.... any comments madge made in regards to MJ whether one finds it to be trivial or not.... it was wrong. and madge talked trash about MJ more than once...

maybe some madge fans need to stop seeing her in such an angelic light, stop thinking well "she really isn't or wasn't that mean".... SHE HURT MJ.... SPOKE and INFERRED STUFF PUBLICLY MORE THAN ONCE.

people want to focus so much on the frickin madge comment.... in 30 hours MJ talked a lot about more important issues than just MADGE. the book and Mike's world didn't revolve around madge so people need to stop reacting so passionately about something they have not read in context.
 
michael obviously rejected the rabbi's friendship for a reason. i mean in the youtube clip he say's... 'i don't know if mj ever molested chilldren'. what kind of friend is that? any person who may not even be a fan of MJ can read a few articles for the early 93 accusations and the 2003 accusations can tell you they doubt the accusations are true...

..and as someone closes to Michael Jackson its astonishing this rabbi dude would say "i don't know" ....i like the fact that there is a shot of the "rabbi, michael jackson and the war criminal former israeli pm ariel sharon" in a photograph.

maybe mj abanonded his friendship dumped his sorry-arse after realising his links with cold-blooded murderers... whatever the reason.. this rabbi was obviously not his friend.

and it is difficult to get the full context without hearing the tapes in full, the exact questions asked...and were we hearing mj's full response...

and also what are the exact charities this money from this book is going tooo and how much...i see the rabbi gave a loose answer to this which didn't sound convincining too me.
 
But you're living in a bubble if you can't see why that's the most relevant right now: Madonna's pretty much been made out to be Michael's official defender since he died. So it's quite important that the world isn't manipulated into thinking that Michael didn't like her, because that wouldn't look good and it's not what we should be focusing on right now.

This is not about supporting Michael or Madonna - it's about supporting Michael in keeping his private statements about events in his personal life PRIVATE and not release a fucking book about it. And in doing so, it's also about supporting Madonna who doesn't deserve to have her recent actions - her beautiful statement on the 6/26, her concert tribute and her VMA speech - ridiculed by some old comments of Michael's made off the record to a person he later eliminated from his life.

We're talking about the two most famous people in the world - we already lost one because we can't just let them be. Leave Madonna alone. And let's try to honour Michael's legacy and continuous right to privacy.

Because she's the closest you get to Michael's peer. They're the two most successful artists in the world, ever. They're the most famous people in the world. They're both recognised for their philanthropic work as much as their creative work. They're the same age, from very similar backgrounds and indeed did know each other as well. So if anyone had to be Michael's official defender, Madonna is the only who could. No one can relate as much as she can.
