Don't worry, Damien. As soon as some collab gets the tape pulled off their mouth that Michael has put there, they will be more than happy to reveal something...especially if their work shows up on the new CD.

Yeah i know what ya mean.

Also, new albums happen quicker than people think. Like, today we know nothing, tomorrow we could have a date, title and cover announced.

Like with Madonna.. 2 weeks ago it was still all talk, just the JT and Timbaland connections and then BAM!.. Title and date, then a few days later covert art, then a few days later the single is out on itunes. Things can turn around that fast!

There's nothing wrong with MJ working with other people but i don't agree that it get's his best work. To me his best work is the things he does by himself. Take songs like Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Who Is It and Stranger In Moscow, all them songs were written and composed by Michael himself and i think that the things he does by himself is his best work
 
In the Feb 7 issue of Rolling Stone, Akon talks about a second collabration with Michael called Hold My Hand. It will be on the rapper's new album Acquitted (due in May). "This one's a global smash," Akon says of the collaboration.

reason this isnt in this thread is because its not related to MJ's new album. There was at one time an active thread entirely dedicated to "hold my hand"... news dried up about the tune so it became inactive. Hope we hear something new. The demo as J5 posted is fantastic.

Akon originally aimed to have the album out in May but later re-assessed that date to August/September due to prolonged touring.

i guess some people like to prepare for the worst. that way whatever they get is a bonus to them. we are expecting an album and will get it eventually. i guess its whatever helps them sleep better at night haha.
