Ok I need to move on from Breaking News for awhile.. until something official is said about it.

Now that I listen to DYKWYCA I'm getting exited about this album again! :wild:

Exactly, it's not like we weren't able to hear it for ourselves (or think for ourselves) or like because we love the kids we will believe everything they say and scream all over the place it's not MJ without even listening to the whole thing.. We did hear the song, and for me it's truly the voice of someone who tries to sing like Michael, but sorry dude,... you may get close, but you don't get it. Even with voice changing electronics or anything like that, voice effects, bad tapes... this ain't 100% Michael. 10% maybe, but not 100%.
 
I don´t know if smooth_criminal05 (think that´s his name) has posted comments on this thread or not but but has he commented on what his sources close to Sony have said on this dilemma?

Well, Taj Jackson is in charge of Michael's children's future music projects and business deals (according to Michael's will).
I don't see Taj tweeting false accusations againsts 'breaking news' and other supposedly fake songs being on MICHAEL album.

You know, you may actually have found something here. From your 2 samples quite some things were fixed (or I am losing my mind lol): 1: "just when you thought he was gone etc" got better (almost a perfect match) 2: Hee hee hee is now better 3: "Breaking. the .news" part is better 4: the choruses improved

That's it. I am gonna try this pitching (3% you said?) myself too for the whole piece. It is a fact that if someone is uppitched or downpitched it sounds weird because you don't get the exact the person would sing if he was to change tonality in reality

I can't believe this is actually happening. I wasn't even gonna listen to the track because I'm not ready for new MJ music, but when I read all the reviews about it NOT being MJ, I thought I might as well hear it for myself. Well like most people here I'm positive that Michael Jackson is not the person singing in at least 95% of the song. The shout at 3:14 is the only thing I'm sure sounds like him. I'm not even sure about the "hee hee hee"'s at the end.

Thank God for "Do you know where your children are" though, I hope we get to hear it in full eventually, fabulous stuff!!!

exactly. No amount of fiddling with pitch or tone or whatever is going to alter the way this singer ennuciates all the words. I could tell after one line that it was not Michael. Michael's accent was very different and that is really NOT how he says his own name.

Well, I should agree with you on 'when you thought he was gone' (still hear 'done', not 'gone' there though) and hee hee. The chorus is in falsetto so it's hard to judge...

I don't believe Taj would lie, but he is human & could be mistaken. There is no doubt something odd is going on though. This album has been in the works for a while, why hasn't something been mentioned before,even mentioning about the hard drive being destroyed etc.

Wow, having an exausting day like this instead of an exciting day isn't that easy.

I really hope we'll have some real answers about that, but Sony said it's 100% MJ, which I don't believe. Sad day in MJ's fan history.
