Deano, you are this close... I suggest you straighten up. There is no reason for you to speak of others the way you have been lately. You might feel you are justified in what you are saying, but if you cannot say it in a respectful way, then don't bother.

Can you please tweak your posts?
 
Well Teddy Riley just responded to a question of mine. It seems that what Corey said was true about them all being in the same room when it was revealed, but that's as far as I can go because from there it just becomes conflicted.

this song is not going to damage the legacy. It's a good song. What's going to damage the legacy are those people who continue with the fake talk even after they got their proof that it's not.
 
I am not just saying this for arguements sake, but can anyone tell me how I can cancel my pre-order if I placed my order through michaeljackson.com???

I cant figure out how to cancel it, I wish id placed it with amazon now.

What proof? We only have their word, and that means nothing to me.

They keep talking about all these tests they have ran, we havent seen the results of the test.

They could clear this whole mess up by releasing the raw demo of the song without all the editing, but they wont do that. I wonder why.....

Tbh I dont think any of this will damage Michael's legacy, nothing that happens after his death can really do that.

But this whole thing could have been awesome, but its just been tainted.

What proof? Even Teddy Riley said he can't prove anything.
 
Out of respect for the legacy, I think the estate should include on the album "those songs the fans want to hear," whether newer or older (remember that statement, from Michael?) Michael always had incredible respect for his fans, and the controversy alone about this song, (and the other Cascio songs) should be a wake-up call for those tracks to be pulled from the album. IMHO.

Maybe the stats have changed now that there has been an official statement, but the last time I looked, 54% of those who voted in the poll, here, thought that Breaking News was NOT Michael! Or not ENOUGH Michael to qualify as a Michael Jackson song.

Surely there are MANY songs in the can from the Invincible sessions? Why not use THOSE, and end the controversy?

I'd be more inclined to believe statements/forensic tests by those NOT on the payroll of the estate/Sony?
 
if michael was he would be very unhappy because a lot of fans cant feel him in his song, which means it is not his song :( i canceled my copy.

Out of all the posts etc I've read over this week, I totally agree with this. This is how BN was most likely put together - So for those of you who say its fake' and those of you who say it is Michael Jackson....well your both right, simple as that!! Our Mj is in the song but along with a couple of other singers.
 
I don't know if this has been mentioned but does anyone think that the snort (at 1:55 in BN) could have been because Michael had a cold or something. That is the only reason he would sound so bad. I still do not believe it is him but oh well.:cheers:

This mess is not going to damage Michael's legacy. Michael is no longer with us and can in no way be blamed for this fiasco. His legacy survived years of vicious tabloid rumors of every kind imaginable. Allegations of child molestation including a high profile trial. Believe me, his legacy survivied all of that because of his amazing talent. The controversy surrounding BN will not harm his legacy. His decades long body or work will speak for itself. Sadly Michael had nothing to do with the final stages of "Michael". Which is the root of all of these problems, imo.
 
The TRUTH will come out !!! :) Sony is NOT stupid to use another singer thats sounds like MJ...
 
It is little unlikely to expect the future albums will be made only out of songs " the fans wanna hear ". What...are they suppose to leak snippets every time so that we can decide what we like and what we don"t like ???!!!!
I personaly love every single MJ"S song. And I will continue to do so.
Because every song he makes is unique and beautiful.
Some are little better than the others but I could never say " I hate this song ". But, that"s just me.
I can only hope we will get more of his music with years to come. I wanna listen to his voice forever.
I miss him so much. More than ever. :(

The Will is Fake!

The Michael Jackson who appeared in "This Is It" was Fake!

I wonder what's gonna happen when the New Cirque du Soliel show opens. I mean, Joe Jackson already said, when the deal was first announced, that he does not support it. Let's see how many family members join him once the show opens.

To be honest, the word FAKE, no longer holds any credibility for me, when it comes to new Michael Jackson projects, because "certain" members of the Jackson family use the word too much, i.e "we're not a part of it, so it's FAKE."
 
Yeah I admit.... the mix is quite poorly done.... Even if I recognize Michael in the main vocals.....
Firstly the 'Jackson' word is doubled, and that voice doubling it is horror. I've listened attentively and felt gonna puke when I heard it. ( this doubling voice is easy to take out )

The rest is normal, ordinary track, but pleasant, enjoyable. However the stranger voice from background is inundating main vocals.


For ex. why not put instead, an evil female reporter voice there.... to create difference between main vocals and background. To not get Mike vocals inundated by impersonator. It would have been edgier, nastier and like a nasty dialogue with the press....

They seem to lack ideas, badly..... But this was always my impression regarding Sony. They feared Mike originality and wanted him just stay trendy in safe mode. Well Breaking News is just them wanting to play safe, with this trendy thing,

Teddy Riley boasted he remixed the song in - 5 hours!! Common he knows Mike would have hated that rush!Lazy.....


So my point is that they should have done a better job if they wanted BN released. Clear Mike vocals, clear different voice in background ( to not muddy Mike vocals ), a smarter mix, more carefully done, and not in 5 hours. lol

Yeah.... today I depicted that doubling for the word 'Jackson'... that is kinda yuck. ( Mike would never do this way ) But as I've said easy to take out, no biggie work for them.




However I am gonna stay positive and buy the album.... There's lot of drama and it's not helping either.

Gonna skip a track if I do not like, or compile them. I am always doing compilations, anyway.

I do not want for this album to flop, because the ish will gonna end on Mike as usual. How? They would find ways to, media is very inventive with that.

Just listened. It was just as awful as the first time. God those first two lines in particular sound nothing like MJ. Not the tone, the pronunciation of the words, nothing. It hurts to listen to it.
