If this is without a doubt Michael on the track, and Teddy has uncharacteristically f**ked it by making it sound like it's sung by my Filipino friend at karaoke, i'd LOVE to hear it. What is the point of telling us the experts can hear it when we ourselves cannot?

Cory Rooney on facebook I have read the statement from the MJ estate and I have to say that it's just more bullshit!!! I was in that room, and the majority of the people mentioned did NOT agree that It was MJ!!! Some felt it sounded like him but all agree that the...re was nothing there that was consistent with any MJ habits like finger snaps, headphone bleeding, foot stomping or just simple things like his voice asking for another take. Both dr. Freeze and Teddy Riley sat with Taryll Jackson and myself and stated that they felt what we felt. As for the specialists that were brought in, I don't think anyone from the actual Jackson family got any direct confirmation that made them feel any different then what they have felt all along. If anyone wants to here directly from the family please follow Taryll, TJ, or Taj Jackson on Twitter. There are to many non Jackson's involved in the estate!!!!!

So, since we do not expect anything new from Sony and the MJ estate, it is time for GAZ to step in IMO. I also want him (as leader of this board) to take a clear side on the matter.

Then let's have a final voting of what everybody believes on breaking news so that we can conclude WHAT THE MJJCOMMUNITY thinks about that.

- If the majority of the community thinks it is Michael they hear on BN then, let's stop these arguements and just wait for the album
- If the majority thinks it is NOT Michael, then we can move on, find ways to ACT in order to convince Sony to take the phoney songs OFF the album.

Do you agree with that scenario? Anybody afraid to vote one final time?

I have to say the whole credibility of this song is falling apart bit by bit in my eyes. First Teddy Riley was yelling 'trust me it's Michael' and now when it's been said there is in fact another singer, James Porte involved with Breaking News he has admitted the same also. Of course he still keeps saying James Porte is not singing any of the lead vocals, but honestly how can you be sure anymore if the 2nd singer was known from the beginning, but still they claimed it's 100% Michael.

Well, sometimes we tend to create problems instead of being level-headed and keeping our feet on the ground... I admit that the lead vocals on the song is not a 100% MJ, but I can live with it and like the song anyway... so as I see it I'm not the one living in a dream world... the ones who want a unfinished demo to be made into a 100% MJ song without any other inputs than MJ's are...

I knew this would be the case! Sony probably have all of the engineers and anyone else in that room minus the family on confidentiality agreements so they can't even say that they disagree!

We dont want unfinished demos made into 100% MJ songs. If a song is not finished to the point where they need to bring in an imposter and claim his vocals as Michel's then they should just leave it! There are plenty of good 100% finished MJ songs that they could use.

Michael would be rolling in his grave if he thought this song which a lot of his fans hate so much was going to be included on his album!

The thing is I feel in my heart that Michael wouldn't put that song in an album after 9 years hiatus, let alone being first song released to promote it.
So I will make my decision regarding buying the whole album or song by song based on what I feel AND hear. And not lowering my standards under any circumstance.

I have no real problem with Cory, but why would I trust his word (even IF he made these comments) over the word of people like Bruce or Greg?

Isn't Cory working with Michael's nephews - managing them? Does he even still work for Sony? wasn't he Tommy Mottola's right hand man?

You pick who you want to believe - however debatable - and I'll keep listening to people who worked closely with Michael for 30-40 years.

I get what you’re saying (and I'm glad you stated that your “example” was to the EXTREME) however, this is not some song that somebody else put together and the estate just put MJ's name on it. This is a song HE actually worked on and unfortunately could not finish. I see so many people claiming MJ's Legacy is in jeopardy but it's really not lol. Nobody can come in here and explain with clear and easily understandable language HOW BN is going to harm MJ's Legacy, you know why, because it won’t. The general public will here this song, either like it or not, and base their decision (in regards to purchasing the album) on that.
