MOD NOTE: You guys, please don't get into arguments over one another's opinions. We all have the right to like or not like something. It's no big deal. However, could we perhaps be a little more gracious in expressing these opinions? Please?!

Personal Note: I don't really like the logo either. However, it would not take much to turn my opinion around either. Some color properly placeed would do me in quite nicel. I must say, with this prototype (as I hope it is) I am interested further in what the final look like. And I do like that they are not waiting until the final product to just unleash it, but we are seeing a progression. It builds excitement. Just the thought of the possibilities makes me giddy. :lol:

On Thursday, March 29, 2012, a U.S. federal trademark registration number 85583328 was filed for BAD 25 by TRIUMPH INTERNATIONAL, INC. with the description Clothing, namely, shirts, jackets, sweaters, pants, belts, socks, sweatshirts, jerseys, shorts, jogging suits, sweat pants; headwear; scarves, gloves, coats, hosiery, neckties, rainwear, swimwear, sleepwear, robes, thermal underwear, headbands, and wristbands; footwear; costumes for use in children's dress up play; costumes for use in role-playing games; dance shoes; dance costumes; masquerade costumes and masks sold in connection therewith; novelty headwear with attached wigs; infant wear; infants' shoes and boots.

Anyway - someone told me this might be the template. It could mean they might change colours (red and white? Red and black?) Would look much better.

Bad 25 Logo should not look dull with black and gray colours. It should look a loot like the classic BAD one, for people to notice right away.

I don't mind the design. It's not the greatest. I personally would've like to see something to this very shoddy quick MS Paint job I just did:

Obviously a lot more styled and...less sloppy :haha:

Already looks slightly better, although it does look a little too cartoonish, don't you think? Like some kind of a logo for a BAD MJ cartoon.

Something like that would look way better IMO, maybe add the crown to it somehow (and a little bettr work than Paint, hehe).

To be very honest, it looks bad as in not good. They could've done it so much better. Why black and GRAY? The gray style looks shit. The logo looks like some kids dolls logo thingy.

I like the logo! I agree that it might look a little bit cartoonish, but I like the crown and I am glad that they stuck to the original Bad logo instead of designing something totally new. More importantly, all these registrations sound very promising. Can't wait to hear more details!

you know that it doesn't need to be gray right? See this item from Bravado shop. "The weird thing around everything" is in black and red and it doesn't look that weird

look more carefully or see the better picture below. the kiddie onesie and tshirt has the same border in black with a red outline. when done properly - arranged according to the background etc- it doesn't look that bad.

we all see the border but it's not a major issue. because we also know that it doesn't need to be in gray color and as there's no color limitation the border can be made as the same color as the background (like the above tshirt) and become non-existent / non- issue at all.

do we need this much negativity about a new release? for a celebration of an album that Michael released in his lifetime? Perhaps people need to learn to approach every release as separately and not let their unhappiness from one project reflect on the other one.

I have a tshirt with that exact logo

I would prefer the logo to be in red, simply because it's so classic MJ and that's what stands out...But the actual FONT is still clearly recognizably MJ...so I'm just looking forward to the material

But I dont care about how the logo looks really!
They most stick with the original bad logo, then its all good!

haha I had a thought, wounder how the BAD25th t shirts will look like.
