Are There Any NHL Hockey Fans Here?

Re: any NHL Hockey fans on here

Pittsburgh Penguins defenceman Kris Letang has suffered a mild stroke and will be out of action for 6 weeks but he will make recovery as expected. Letang had episodes of dizziness and nausea for sometime, we was tested and concluded that has a hole on the wall of his heart stated he had since birth.

Re: any NHL Hockey fans on here

Ryan Miller and Steve Ott are now with the St. Louis Blues in a trade with Jaroslav Halak and Chris Stewart to Buffalo Sabres.

Re: any NHL Hockey fans on here

Steve Moore is trying to get former Vancouver Canucks owner John McCraw to testify at an Ontario Superior Court against Detroit Red Wings power fowards Todd Bertuzzi in a lawsuit that Bertuzzi punched Moore out cold in 2004.

I have to say that I'm against Steve Moore's lawsuit, yeah what Bertuzzi did was wrong, but after that he did apologize at his press conference for the incident and yet Moore refused to accept Bertuzzi's apology and file a lawsuit against him anyways. Moore to is nothing but a $$$ sucking baby trying to harass Bertuzzi with that damned lawsuit, he focuses on $$$ and justice rather than his health.

Has he ever heard of the Eddie Shore-Ace Bailey incident in the 30's? Boston Bruins Eddie Shore flip check Toronto Maple Leafs Ace Bailey and he hit the ice head first splitting his head open and rushed to the hospital. Shore did recieve a suspension, Bailey survived a devastating injury but he wouldn't play in the NHL again. The following year the NHL did it's very first NHL All-Star game, that game was dubbed as the "Ace Bailey Benefit Game". That event turned out to be memorable when Eddie Shore played in the All-Star game for the first time since the incident shook hands with Ace Bailey.

ShoreBailey14Feb1934.jpg

That photo of Bailey (left) and Shore (right) shows a lot of class and shows that Bailey indeed did forgave Shore.

But as for Moore's case, it's different, he shows no class and he doesn't deserve to be called a man. He should leave Bertuzzi alone, forgive him and focus on his own health like a man or he's gonna waste his life harassing Bertuzzi like a classless baby and let karma consume him. He might as well take the $$$ and kiss Bertuzzi's @$$.

Bruins fans hurt after netting falls at TD Garden
2 women injured after 3-0 win over Capitals

Authorities say two young women suffered minor injuries when a metal pole holding up protective netting behind one of the goals at the TD Garden fell and struck them after a Boston Bruins game.

The netting fell at about 9:40 p.m. ET Thursday after the Bruins' 3-0 win over the Washington Capitals.

A private ambulance service took the women to the hospital as a precaution, but their injuries are not considered life threatening.

No names were released, but police say both women were in their 20s.

What caused the netting to fall is unclear. It is intended to protect fans from pucks that fly over the glass.

A very scary moment occured last night during the Columbus Blue Jackets vs Dallas Stars game. Stars player Rich Peverley collapsed on the bench due to serious cardiac problems and coach Lindy Ruff franticly called the doctors and they brought him to a local hospital. Due to the incident, the game was postponed for a later date. Teammates Tim Thomas, Tyler Seguin and Blue Jackets Nathan Horton (who were all teammates with Peverley previously with the Boston Bruins and helped won their Stanley Cup in 2011) along with the rest of the Stars and Blue Jackets sends their prayers to Peverley. That's the 2nd time the incident involved cardiac problems involving a player since that happened to Jiri Fischer of the Detroit Red Wings during the 2005-06 season.

I'm also sending my prayers to Pevs and tweeted the Dallas Stars just moments ago. I loved Peverley when he played for the Bruins. Get well and come back on the ice soon.

#8 Cam Neely. Why? This isn't about Neely. It's about the Boston Bruins 8# consecutive win this month. They defeated Carolina Hurricanes at home today in a final score if 5-1. Jarome Iginla scored twice.

Re: any NHL Hockey fans on here

9th win in a row the Bruins and Jarome Iginla scores twice once again in a 4-1 win over Minnesota Wild making that his 25th goal of the season.

Re: any NHL Hockey fans on here

The Boston Bruins has won their 10th consecutive game over the New Jersey Devils in a final socre of 4-2. Jarome Iginla has done it again with a milestone of 1,300 games and scored 7 goals (total of 8 points) in 6 games, he makes his 26th goal of the season and maybe on the verge to reach his +30 goals plateau once again.

Re: any NHL Hockey fans on here

12TH WIN FOR THE BRUINS!!! Jarome Iginla scores a pair once again. 4-2 win over Phoenix Coyotes.

Today is the 30th Anniversary of a Good Friday Game Brawl. The Brawl involves the Quebec Nordiques and the Montreal Canadiens, the first brawl starts at the end of the 2nd period and the 2nd brawl at the beginning of the 3rd period, Montreal erupts coming after Quebec's Louis Sleigher KOed a Montreal player at the first brawl.

Re: any NHL Hockey fans on here

Montreal Canadiens swept Tampa Bay Lightning away and advances to the Atlantic Divison Final. BOOOOO!!! The damned referees are so stupid cheat on letting Montreal win. Games 3 is a perfect example of why they cheated Tampa Bay out.

Game 3

This looked like a good goal, but they made a totally BS call and Tampa Bay were really angry.

Re: any NHL Hockey fans on here

Another awesome overtime game, 1st overtime in the Boston Bruins vs Detroit Red Wings series.

The double minor penalty for high sticking to Boston is a BS call, which I knew gave the Red Wings an advantage scoring a powerplay goal until the Bruins later caught up and won 3-2 in overtime thanx to Jarome Iginla.

Re: any NHL Hockey fans on here

4 more teams advanced to the Division Finals. Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks and Pittsburgh Penguins. The Bruins will face Montreal Canadiens, Chicago will face Colorado Avalanche/Minnesota Wild (depending who wins Game 7 in the series) and Pittsburgh will face either NY Rangers/Philadelphia while Anaheim is waiting for San Jose Sharks/Los Angeles Kings (depending who wins Game 7).
