bored...what a load of $£%p another hits album ... - this is good if released with a new album but otherwise $£%p ... mmm
EXACTLY!:clapping:Guys, I don't see any problem here.
This is a simple re-packaging of a greatest hits collection for the mass market as there are millions of people that have not any Michael Jackson CD in their possession.
THIS IS NOT AIMED AT FANS and does IN NO WAY negatively effect other upcoming releases (including new music).
It also doesn't negatively affect the artist's reputation - the contrary is the case.
Music companies have to make money with their contracted artists's material - otherwise they would never establish a financial backup to finance expansive marketing campaigns for new artists.
This is it - the way the industry works.
If you don't tolerate that, just ask yourself how an artist like Michael Jackson could be promoted if there's no strong big company behind him and how a company actually becomes that strong.
Sony Music is doing a great job. "Thriller 25" and "King of Pop" have brought back the focus on the music into the media.
There'll be news about upcoming releases soon. And I'm not talking about re-issues.

why?
fans don't have to buy them. they aren't a big deal
I agree with you. People are complaining because it is more a collection. It's simple: just do not buy it. Nobody is obliged to buy. Many people are making a storm over it. Michael is who decides and does what he think should be done and we are not owners of it, we are fans and who do not like the idea of launching another collection at least respect that. I just want Michael to follow your heart and do what he has will.
Thanks!
:clapping: I also agree with you. I think these compilations are also for those fans who are beginners starting to know the work of Michael. Today Michael has many fans adolescents between 12 and 15 years of age. These collections provide the opportunity of these teenagers know the songs of Michael and also attract new fans adolescents. And if the contract is to launch a collection of more... it would in any way even if some fans claim! :yes:Guys, I don't see any problem here.

100% agree with you! Because releasing the hits album WITHOUT a new song is an excellent hint that Michael wants to release a 100% NEW album, and also both could sell very well during the tour. Why jump to conclusions.. A Hits CD released at the same time as the new album is very feasable don't you think? Some could buy both..
