And yes, I don't see how 7 already leaked songs is unrealistic. They are re-producing all songs, so they are basically "new" anyway to them

That is stupid to say! You shouldn't have to listen them when they leaked so they would be new to you now. Also majority of those leaked songs leaked in 128 kbps quality. Wouldn't you rather pay $10 and have them in lossless wav quality with booklet and everything?

I'm sick of the argument that I "shouldn't have listened to the song when it leaked". When a song leaks, you're going to listen to it. Plain and simple. Onir, I highly doubt you can tell me that you haven't listened to leaks before.

But on the earlier page, I saw people asking why they should release songs that have already been released. The SAME SITUATION goes for leaked songs. Just because the hardcore fans have heard them doesn't mean that the world has (i.e., Beautiful Girl, Fall Again). Yet you were all just complaining about the thought of having a released song feature.

To put it simply, the number of leaked songs should not outnumber the number of unleaked songs. Six against six is fine. Less is even better. But seven against five is unacceptable.

If they included songs which were on the Michael album that would mean they have very few usable songs. I don't think the situation is THAT bad.

^ Once we found out the album was being released.. I personally have heard the leaks 2 times.. I try to minimize it to keep my excitement for the album up.. However I will not nor do I think I'm in position to complain about them being released when I know it was my choice to listen...

the estate and Sony cannot race leakers to release an album just to satisfy every single person... they are not just thinking about you or me.. They are thinking of sales, and the general public that would buy an album.. for example STTR is a very strong song and they should not have to scratch releasing it just because we decided to hear it early.. there are millions of people that have not heard it that would buy it..

I'm really excited since the release of the phone-ad. Checking the forum several times a day. Who knows when we will get more news? Could be anytime now It's like waiting for christmas as a child, you just don't know the date!

Do you really think Rodney Jerkins isn't on board? I know he once said he wasn't involved after his brother said he had something to do with it. I wonder if it's true. I'd really like to hear some of the early Invincible outtakes.
Can't wait to get the official tracklist. We have two songs more or less confirmed (Chicago & STTR) and some songs are very likely to appear (APWNN, BG, maybe IWTL). If Jerkins isn't involved we most likely won't hear WHE and Escape, will we?
Some totally unknown songs would be neat!

I listened all of them but I want them to be officially released so I can buy them and have them in best quality. I always say that the leaks are bad.

Leaked song is not same as released song! Shout or We've Had Enough shoud never be re-released again in my opinion. What's the point?

But If MJ worked on the song after it was released in some form (like The Way You Love Me) then that's different and I want to hear it. That's why I said it would be cool to have new version of Cheater on the new album. On that list he had on his mirror, he wrote Cheater and Scared Of The Moon. So in my opinion latest version MJ worked on can be released on Disc 2 (if they decide to release double album). Also Timbaland version of Cheater would be great too.

I think Cheater is more of a filler song, Scared of The Moon could be made into something good.

the thing about Michael.. He didn't believe in 'fillers'!! that's why we have gems still waiting to be heard!! the fillers (aside from more recent work that he planned to release) are the 'fillers' he kept out of the albums in the past.

I think that Baby Be Mine is the most underrated song on Thriller and I really like Can't Let Her Get Away

Well, to be fair, Shout and We've Had Enough weren't give the chance to shine (the former on the poorly-charted Cry single, the latter on the decently-selling Ultimate Collection box set). Just because the hardcore fans have heard them doesn't mean that the world has. That is an argument that has been made for the release of previously leaked songs, and it's one that could easily be made for certain released songs.

That and Can't Let Her Get Away is the funk, and Baby Be Mine is a great Temperton jam.

As a matter of fact I'm gonna listen to both right now!

The interplay between the synth and rhythm guitar in the verses, the sweeping synths and horns in the pre-chorus, the catchy chorus hook, the incredibly breezy (NOT a Chris Brown reference:lol vocals... Yeah, love it.

Cheater is a wonderful song.. in fact, i've created my own deluxe extended edition of bad in a playlist for myself in vlc media player and i'm glad we have that track.. it's beautiful. And i completely forgot about She Was Lovin' Me.. i would love to hear that song, especially reading the story behind it.. what is the last song Michael ever recorded that is around 50-60% complete, Billy? AlwaysThere? was it in December of 08' or early 2009?

here's my theory about the mix used in the commercial: it is clear they remixed different parts of the recording to make it sound very different to the album version, after hearing the tricky stewart mix again, it's clear that it's not the same part of the song throughout.

Nice theory, but wrong!

It's not remixed! It's edited to fit the clip. We all hear that there are parts edited together, like it won't appear on the long Version. Soundwise it's the version we'll be getting. You'll see!

Editing - remixing, 2 completely different things!

I do not know the title, but I was told it was "fitting" as a send off. I don't know its completion state, I also said in my list I think they will include it. Nothing is for sure.

I wouldn't called the timbaland mix "remixing" Speed Demon ala Nero is a remix. While HT, HMH, and BoJ are reimagining.
