my thoughts on releasing unreleased leaked songs..

It has to happen!! we WILL get it, and we can't blame anyone but ourselves and the mystery leakers that we've heard the songs...

Now as far as promoting the album with leaked material.. In that regard to have a full track list announcement - I think that needs to be delayed to the fullest extent.. We know radio stations will try talking about the song, telling listeners about it, and those listeners will hear and DL prior to release.. So those songs need to be not mentioned until right before release.. \


Having said that, I do think we need to start hearing about the other non leaked songs, tell us some tracks, and even mention the type of sound it is.. Basically anything to hype us up.. I hope we hear something at least a couple months prior to release..

I do hope 'i was the loser' is included on this record, the original track is beautiful.. and i would love to hear Michael's new vocals on the chorus, other leaked song's i would like to be included are: Blue Gangsta, Escape & also.. 'Shout' i think deserves a place, it was included on the 2003 cd single of 'cry' and is a terrific song.

Fans may hear leaks but the general public don't know. They have to think of everyone not just fans only when they make these decisions. I would like to see non fans enjoy the music too.

exactly, and when they're released.. they will be in true cd quality and not 128kbps. This is a bonus for everyone, hearing Michael's music in the clearest clarity that is currently in the mainstream.

Cry was released in 2001.

The studio footage from 1986-7 are in pretty neat definition and quality (on BAD25) and they're 25 years old...

michael shot the making of bad on 35mm film that was taken from 3 days out of those sessions

I'm thinking there may be more of these for the other albums too then :) kept somewhere like those were until last year.
 
I love the short film for speed demon,real world and animated world mixed together.
The humor in it.."I asked for a bad guy and he gives me Michael Jackson" how paparazzis was treated , the sign and the fines in the end.

The shortfilm has to fit with the song of course but it would be nice with a video with funny momments in it.

For dark songs I want a shortfilm telling the story but of course the story can be interpreted in different ways
My Hollywood Tonight film would contain human trafficking and drugs, maybe it would be a good end where the girl get the help she needs and then attaching the persons who took advantage of her.
Or it can end in a way that we really don´t know that will happen to her

9/10 songs. Im not sure what the 10th song will be, probably something Never before heard.
Reasons behind this tracklisting:

Timbaland mentioned he wanted Chicago as the first single, its safe to say it may appear
STTR was just premiered on the Z2 ad.
Michael Prince/Brad did go through their achieves, Hollywood is likely to appear.
Dr. Freeze mentioned both APWNN and BG as album canidates.
Paul Anka CLAIMS LNFSG will appear.
The Final Song Michael recorded isn't publicly known, like wise I think it will appear.
Best of Joy may also appear, ala MP/BB
IWAL is the final version of IAAL, ala MP/BB
and to top it all off, I believe another MP/BB song will be included.

J. Cole's recent videos haven't featured him in them, so it is entirely possible to create a music video without the artist and still keep the integrity of the story from the song.

maybe they wanna surprise us with a "michael" second edition, 2-3 new songs and "remastered" or "re-done" old unreleased songs (like HT ;)) or a non-cascio michael edition ;)
just like they did with the "best of's", cause 10 greatest hits compilations werent enough.


no but seriously, nothing OLD like shout, best of joy or ht should be re-released.
just 100% unheard and/or unreleased songs for the public.

Either Blue Gangsta or A Place With No Name NOT both even though Dr Freeze stated otherwise

The Estate know what songs we have heard, I'm sure there's enough quality tracks out there to ensure the entire album isn't stuff we've all already heard!

STTR, APWNN & BG would be fine on there, with new mixes probably. DYKWYCA would be cool. Other than that I think it will be new material for us all. A special edition with the original UNTOUCHED demo's on would be icing on the cake, and has to be done surely?

Escape was not released on TUC. - BUT I would actually LOVE if WHE was released on this album - with the things going on in Ukraine (and other places in the world) an anti-war song would be PERFECT!!

I hope for both BG and APWNN! :)
If a finished version of Beautiful Girl was ever made by MJ (vocals) I would die to hear it!!
She was loving Me does not seem to interesst me very much... - Don't know why! :lol:
STTR seems to be confirmed.
The newest version (most recent) MJ did of I was the loser would be great too.

The Estate has enough from 1975-2009 for a number of albums of JUST unreleased/unleaked music. Of course they will span different eras like the Michael album did, but regardless.

That much is already clear, unfortunately. Some songs the Estate can't release because their producers/coproducers are refusing to let them, whereas other songs are in the possession of people who won't hand them over for one reason or another.

We don't know this, and I don't believe they have that yet. I believe they are still to find more songs, to acquire more songs from certain producers

And yes, I don't see how 7 already leaked songs is unrealistic. They are re-producing all songs, so they are basically "new" anyway to them

the last song michael recorded would be absolutely fantastic, do you mean hollywood as in the 2008 final mix or the same we got on the 'michael' album? there is version 1 & version 5 of best of joy, we have version 5 don't we? i would love that tracklist...

That is stupid to say! You shouldn't have to listen them when they leaked so they would be new to you now. Also majority of those leaked songs leaked in 128 kbps quality. Wouldn't you rather pay $10 and have them in lossless wav quality with booklet and everything?

There are a few HT demos spanning 99-08. I believe Best of Joy was recorded amoung two sessions.

sounds great, would be interesting to hear different versions of those song's! what makes you think they'll include the last song he recorded then?

If they included songs which were on the Michael album that would mean they have very few usable songs. I don't think the situation is THAT bad.
