I can see this too-since it's such a dark story, a spotlight on him and his expressions of pain. I was visualizing a film of the poor wife and mother in the background if he did it on stage going through her day-we'd see a little of it and then cut back to his face, then back to the woman's story.
I just heard it and my imagination saw this-I truly love the music metaphors. And I adore how Michael makes you see an entire movie with his vocals. He said he wanted to be a story teller and transport the listener and he more than succeeded.

I got the Deluxe today. No illegal DL for this guy. Bit of a surprise my but local record shop started selling it today so I grabbed one.

I'm someone that might have heard a few leaks over the past couple years. DYKWYCA and APWNN are the only two I recall so I could listen to "Xscape" without any baggage. One thing I noticed right away was how big the sound is on this record- LOTS OF BOTTOM. LNFSG is just vintage MJ and it was a smart move going with a retro production on it. All the tracks sound pretty "right" to me. Really, the only track that *sounds* like a remix is DYKWYCA but I dig it. I was a little underwhelmed with STTR. I think the chorus should have been punchier but it's still potentially a single.

Then I listened to the "original versions" 9-16 and the only one I thought was a keeper was APWNN. I guess I just don't care for skeletal demos. MJ would have definitely wanted to sound current and hip so the producers did great IMO.

Overall this is a darn fine album (3.75 out of 5) that is good enough to be counted among his proper albums in his catalog. I can't say that about the "Michael" album.

I wonder what the video would look like for Slave To The Rhythm? I hope they do a video that is somewhat close...but nobody can touch Michael's vision.

L.A. took the title Xscape, because it is just one word.
Everything after OTW has also only one word. That was from Michael's album naming process. To use a title that would be short.

Not true. If you would like to hear the music as it was intended to hear, listen to them on in ear headphones. Those bring a flat and 'honest' sound.

'Loving You' has been stuck in my head since i first heard it, it truly is one of the best song's that Michael recorded in his lifetime. Almost mastered the lyrics off of by heart, there's just something about it... his vocal style is extremely unique... i'm glad this was one of the tracks included within the final tracklisting.

it is my opinion and i stated it out of the tracks that have been released by him & the estate, my opinion is based on my ears.. okay? lol.... it may change when we get the post trial tracks but something this unique, makes it a pleasure to listen to. There's just something about the recording sessions for bad, that continues to bring surprises... the demo is a masterpiece.. timbaland's mix is a cohesive look as to how it possibly would have sounded had Michael released it, the additional instruments make it feel fresh without taking too much away from the original mix.

i know it's your opinion but it's not based on your ears :p your judgment is biased it's not mj's vision timbaland used his own interpretation they should've released the original cause blablabla (i miss the big fuzz about new mix/original demos btw i think it's a beautiful song too lol)

is that photo from the recording sessions for love never felt so good in 1983? it looks fantastic, never seen it before.. wow! looks like Michael really did love that song.

"Justin Timberlake was Timbaland's idea and they came up with a different version of Love Never Felt So Good," Reid told ET's Rocsi Diaz. "We released both versions."

Both copies will both be featured on MJ's posthumous album, Xscape, dropping May 13.

"I'm impressed with Justin Timberlake. This is a different type of artist," said Reid. "I have to say I haven't worked with many artists that impress me with his level of intellect."

There were rumors that the original could have been recorded for thriller. Still a unique photo though, wherever it's from.
