I'm guessing... LNFSG? Or Xscape. Total guess. But I'm assuming for some kind of *performance* on an awards show; if Rich&Tone has something to do with it (that whole "secret mission" tweet), then LNFSG (based from what I read from the reviews, it's kinda dancey). If not *performance*, but some kind of video shown then the latter or one of the two. The iHeart Radio commercial didn't specify how it will be shown just, "-plus one new song you've never heard, by Michael Jackson *sparkle sparkle*"

I don't think it's STTR for some reason. If neither, then beats me, I'm looking forward to whatever it might be! :popcorn:

Huh? I was not being sarcastic at all. I agree with you that it is likely that we will get more info this upcoming week because we are edging closer to the release date.

Seems like you are the one that could use a rest, sheesh.

I am looking forward to Thursday. I really don't care which song is shown to be honest. These songs I haven't paid much attention to (the ones leaked over the years) so this will be new for me. I am going in with an open mind.

I just want to be able smile and enjoy what is to come.

I meant that I think tracks like Hollywood Tonight, Best of Joy, Behind the Mask and Much Too Soon are really strong. I think it is a pity that they were released on the lacklustre 'Michael' album. Imagine if we'd have had those four songs in addition to the 8 we get on this album now as the first posthumous release (that's what Khaled was imagining, I was going along with that idea). Would have been a great selection of songs.

That Love Never Felt So Good (from the YouTube snippets I heard) has to be a fan made mix, just doesn't sound official to me at all. Those chimes sound like they came straight out of Fruity Loops.

^^Oh I thought we were not supposed to laugh in the thread? We keep asking the same questions day after day about ads, which singles, what time, what date, what track list, and no one has the right answer except for those who got sneak previews; so what is the big problem with a little levity? I don't understand this claim about people having to wade through off topic posts to get to news, because there is no Official news for some time now, so what are people talking about?

What we have of the original does sound promising, I think so too. It's still a mystery to me why Lenny Kravitz felt the need to add that mediocre riff to it that takes all the tension and power out of the song.

Yeah, it's obviously fanmade. In addition, qbee, who was at one of the listening sessions confirmed that it is not the track that is on the album.

I can only guess. Probably the guideline of the MICHAEL project was "destroy the original songs as much as possible", so Lenny had to. Otherwise the (close to) original version of Another Day would have been a black sheep on MICHAEL.

This is my fear for Xscape. Hopefully the contemporized songs are not overproduced. However, it can be a strong possibility for the completed songs with very aggressive mixes like BG, STTR, and Xscape. The urge could be to remove the aggressive mix and use the opposite; thus, the strings on STTR.

This is why I believe the demos will be as close to an acapella as they can get unless they have very elementary demos similar to DBMA. To place the leaked version on the cd can be an issue if the leaked version is found to be more acceptable than the contemporized mix to listeners.

Interestingly enough I have only seen one fan review do a slight comparison between the contemporized mixes and the leaked versions.

I admit I loved the LNFSG snippet, it sounds cheerful and danceable. :) I don't know what to think of STTR though...

They should start promoting the hell out of this album come May 1st. 2+ weeks of promotion. I'd love to see it all over the place, billboards, newspapers, commercials, toilet paper. Everything should have Michael's face on it.

The new mix of Love Never Felt So Good (even though it's fake) is impressive. Scale back the intensity of the drums and it seriously feels like the perfect '70s throwback.

Slave to the Rhythm is incredible. I prefer this breakdown over Tricky Stewarts.

From what I've heard from Xscape thus far, it's incredible.

It is the same YT channel owner for both videos. The consensus is LNFSG is faux and STTR is authentic?

The shorter LNFSG snippet was horrible to me because it sounded like a mix was placed on top of the original demo and gave me the effect of listening to two songs playing at once instead of one. I do not know if this longer snippet is authentic but, I did listen to it a few more times. Regardless of whatever LNFSG truly sounds like, I fear it will sound like a mix placed on top of the original demo as it will take a more advance production to make it sound like one song.

STTR sounds as if it will become more aggressive as the song moves along if that video is authentic.
