Because not derailing DELIBERATELY and OVER and OVER again into irrelevant off-topic chit-chat would make it a mortuary? I see.

Look, no one said you cannot continue with the chit-chat, but you have made a seperate thread for it, why is that not enough? People who come here for the news and on-topic talk have to go through several pages of irrelevant chat just to find some. There is a reason why on forums people are usually told keep it on-topic.

8/7 Central is 8PM on the East Coast, 7PM Central.
From Daylight Time to UK, it would be at 1AM May 2nd, I believe.
Germany would be one hour ahead at 2AM, May 2nd.

...And I just realized that if it's live I will be watching it 5PM PST my time, sweet.

The constant bickering is annoying, to be honest. Both "Stay on topic!" and "Off topic!!"

We know what the rules are. We are discussing the upcoming album. Every now and then, there are heated arguments over unreleased tracks, unconfirmed news (with what little we have in this stage), picking at each other's opinion. Making problems out of nothing. It's nice to read a few posts sometimes about the excitement for this album, and hey I admit it, even the humorous off-topic posts that make the atmosphere in here a bit, less tense. A forum breeds healthy discussion, not constant rumination and forcing opinions on others which is even worse. So, I'll take positivity over that negativity any day.


All I'm saying is, why can't everybody chillax? This is not a board meeting. This is not a gyno appointment. Just relax, and let the discussion flow, with respect (don't be annoying--this goes for both parties---there's such a thing as TOO much). If you don't like other posts, to each their own. If you want to be updated on NEW news only and not be lost within the variety of discussion, there's this thread here that is just for that. As you can see, so far, not much in the last few days. Breathe everyone, and stay excited, k? You're all wonderful in making this wait enjoyable.

That's true, but there is also a specific thread for offtopic discussion during the run-up to the album (here). I'm all for naturally flowing discussions, but there's a difference between having a few offtopic posts that emerge from the discussion versus having page after page filled with posts that are not even related to Michael Jackson anymore. The latter is a bit too much in my opinion, especially when you just want to quickly check this thread to catch up with the latest news/rumours/opinions, but to each their own of course. In any case, I don't see why the continuous lighthearted offtopic chitchat has to dominate this thread when there is already a topic for it.

(and yes, qbee, this too is offtopic. ;D)

back on topic imagine that there is no internet , Michael's album wasn't released then they merge its songs with Xscape's songs in one album the result is we have an album full of new tracks hmmm this is crazy :bowling:

Could/would have been a great album. It is a pity some excellent tracks were wasted on that release.

Seems quite likely that there will be plenty of news to come this week, as the album will be released in less than 2 weeks in some places.

That LNFSG snippet on YouTube may be the alternative remix that Sony France stated it to be. In reviews the main mix is said to have a Barry White type strings with no acapella just the piano with extra instruments added to his voice, the demo does sound very dancy and there is no reason not to like it. That being said the rest of his channel looks fake. Some fans get really annoying when they say "It's not!" because you've been wrong about a lot of things, who knows, not any of us.

We're speculating!
