I get the impression the estate have told them to hold their horses until Xscape is released and when its out their creating hype and gets MJ noticed again in the public eye (not that he ever went away towards the fans). It will hit the stores. Thats my opinion anyways :)

its pretty crazy its been almost 3 and a half weeks since sony announced the album and they haven't given us any news since then..

I kinda jumped ship, i'm now pro LNFSG as a single:p For some reason i think LNFSG can faire extremely well. It probably has that Classic MJ Off The Wall vibe and there will be a lot of artists there attending the award ceremony that absolutely love MJ and that style. It could turn out to become something like this i imagine/hope

Other than the tracklist what other news can they give? We've been getting different reviews and yesterday that bit about the iHeartRadio awards. They obviously want to maintain some element of surprise. If they release all the info, it won't be as exciting IMO.

For comparison, Mariah Carey's album is supposed to drop on May 6 and there is no title, cover or anything else announced about it. Needless to say her fans are freaking out. LOL Though there are rumors she wants to do something a-la Beyonce.

Epic records just sent out a tweet saying the deluxe has "select" original versions. Does this mean we get more new music?

maybe they changed there mind regarding the tracklisting like was rumored and we may possibly get 5 demo's & 3 bonus tracks???? hope so, and especially for 'CAN'T GET YOUR WEIGHT OFF ME'!!!!

So we get like 4 tracks of silence? Surely if this is the case there's less demos and more "RE-works" of songs that didn't make the cut.

8 tracks from the disc 1 in the original form. Bonus track will not be included in the original form.

Do you mean this like that?: If the "select" is true and we don't get all the tracks in their original version, there has to be additional bonus tracks (If the amount of tracks in itunes is accurate).

This would be great, but I doubt it. The track list was set in stone months ago imo, the "tracklist could change" is just marketing.

None imo, if at all on a Queen album or later down the line on a "Duets" album.

I was under the impression that there will be an original recording for each of the 8 songs and these will be the last version that Michael worked on. On top of that there was to be a bonus recording. The only problem is I have read so many reviews I can't remember where I saw that. I'm sure that LA Reid mentioned it (but not the bit about the bonus recording).

If you click on the vinyl on the official MJ store it says it includes a bonus track.

As I understand this tweet, they “select” versions of demos to include to the deluxe edition… Maybe there are few of “latest” demos? IMO it is logical to imply word “original” to the demos for Deluxe Edition. Well, Idk.

There will be.

There's just an extra song on the Deluxe Edition which we won't get the original recording for, hence why they said 'select'.

I'm 100% sure that all songs will be released in their original versions. But the thing is that each song probably have more than one original version, maybe even 20 versions depending on how much MJ worked on it. I also thought we will be getting the last versions MJ worked on, but maybe they will give us some work in progress or even demos instead knowing that some of the last versions MJ worked on (APWNN, Xscape) already leaked.

I remember, i read somewhere "The Standard Version will include a Secret Bonus Track too." but i could be wrong.

In my opinion it would be cool to hear Xscape version considered for Invincible or A Place With No Name version considered for Invincible, because we already have Xscape 2002 mix and APWNN 2008 mix although in low quality.

It seems the vinyl might but judging by iTunes so far, the CD/Digital Download Standard Edition will only have the basic 8 tracks.

the shitty attitude is to judge a work and start to pretend you are pro just cause you know what auto tune is and how it should or should not be used :) the robotic effect on threatened done by rodney jerkins on mj's voice never bothered anybody 'till you heard about T-pain and his f**** overuse if it
