Well it seems everybody out there is hungry for this release not just us fans. I just keep glued to this site for more info. This release can't come soon enough!!

The prince is a coproducer and they need his say so to release any of his songs. Same situation as to why Bad 25 didn't have any Quincy Jones productions :)

They will probably release the first single about 4 weeks before the album... so, I suppose it's going to happen next monday (14th April).

By the way, some comparisons:

"One More Chance" was released 26 days before "Number Ones";

"The Girl is Mine 2008" was released 25 days before "Thriller 25th";

"Hold My Hand" was released 25 days before "Michael".

Next Monday could be a good day to release the single, based on the days of previous releases.

But I'm not taking anything this Skip Dillard says as fact. There was no information revealed at the listening parties as far as single release dates are concerned. He's probably guessing.

On the second playback of Xscape, after many of the attendees were already retrieving phones and bags from coat check, L.A. Reid unearthed a version of the title track with vocals from Tupac Shakur’s “Changes.” And believe it or not, it was epic. You can only imagine Mike and Makaveli dapping each other in upstairs in Thugz Mansion.

surely the first single won't be released less then two weeks before the album is out. The album will probably be leaked early may anyway.

Pharrell's 'Happy'. Strong melody, retro vibe. Its what people love at the moment. Best music trend in years. John Legend's 'All of Me' is a sultry piano ballad. Sony studied those charts and the current vibes people are leaning towards. Michael will fit right in.

True, I have been listening to Happy daily now for weeks. I am hooked on. I hear it in the cabs and stores--it seems everywhere I go that song plays. t reminds me of that Jackson 5 song with Happy in it. I am waiting for a new Michael song to replace my addiction to that Happy song.

I have to say that it is kind of funny how this is all driving us crazy in a good way. I think Michael would get a kick out of that lol.

Wait wait wait, what does this mean? Second playback? Title track? Does it mean that the Song Xscape has a remix version with 2Pac on the 2nd CD?

It could mean that there is an earlier version of escape than the one we have that features vocals from 2pac. It wouldn't be the first time, hence unbreakable. Atleast that's what i took from it
