Xscape chart positions. (incl. singles)

I am surprised to see that Dolly Parton is number 2 on the UK chart for the second week in a row? She's even ahead of Sam Smith and Coldplay.

I think she'll be out next week. She only got on top of the chart because she was at Glastonbury music festival and it is one of the biggest if not the biggest festivals in UK + she has been promoting her album on many tv programs.

^^Yes, I read Xscape mentioning's in twitter, and it is great to see so many people who really weren't fans of MJ, buys Xscape, and then goes on to buy albums from his back catalogue:clapping:

Again, re-read my posts. I was talking about Xscape sales and chart positions those weeks (and based on incomplete HDD sales charts), not overall worldwide or total sales. This week sales show great stability on the charts and 9,000 is OK number. As long as the album is in the Top 40 it is not a disaster (again weekly disaster). Although with little more promotion/better promotion tactics the album could have still be in the Top 20 selling around 12,000. That would be great and realistic based on the competition.

Nice. Expecting more promo from Sony and the Estate for the rest of the year, so the chart stability should be persistent moving forward into the holidays.
 
XSCAPE is 6 euros for only a limited period of time on iTunes. Expect some sales boost.

Do you guys really think that only a small promotion with SYTYCD is enough? I hope they have more promotion plans for APWNN
