Which Stevie Wonder classic would MJ do justice to?

This question is so, can I say OLD, in my mind.^_^ It's because I had the same ideas about Michael singing Stevie's songs after I purchased Stevie's The Definitive Collection in 2005.

Actually, I even typed a MJJSource online letter to Michael talking about the songs that I thought he would do great remastering or singing duet with Stevie. Then I said, I know nothing about the music business so don't mind me.

The songs I like the most are:

"That Girl"
"For Once In My Life"
"As"
"Boogie On Reggae Woman"
"I Was Made To Love Her"

I heard Michael's voice in Stevie's voice even though Stevie's voice has a distinct sound. They are both brilliant performers and vocal geniuses.

I think Michael's voice would work great on a lot of Stevie's songs. They're comparable as vocalists, similar in some ways, in range, etc... "I Just Called To Say I Love You", "These Three Words", "All Is Fair In Love" would be some great tracks to hear Michael sing.

funny, but ive been having the same feeling. it would be a good idea if an album like "Michael Jackson Sings Stevie Wonder" wud come out ^_^

Right now, the song "Ribbon In the Sky" comes to mind. It wud be heavenly if mike sings that!

Its Funny you should say that coz I started this Thread straight after I bought The Defenitvie collection. What I like about us MJ fans is that we think alike on a lot of aspects;)

Yes, it's cool how music can put you in the same frame of thought and feelings as other Michael fans.

Of course Ribbon In The Sky. I saw Stevie sing that with Des'ree once. It was beautiful.

Anf Knocks Me Off My Feet, maybe mixed with The Way You Make Me Feel.

You Knocks me Off My Feet now baby! OOoohhh!

now that i'd love to listen to - do you know of any footage of this performance?

For all who don`t know,MJ has actually recorded two songs of Stevie Wonder`s,"Shoo-Be-Do-Da-Day"and "Never Had A Dream Come True"(When he was little)

I know that MJ would do a gret job on,Ribbon In The Sky,All I Do,and Overjoyed.:)

and may i add that it just feels great to be enjoying the same kind of music with u guys. just goes to prove we have such good taste! :D

I'd love to hear Michael cover "Superstition." That would be an interesting cover, that's for sure.

You can hear it on the CD Jackson 5 In Japan! They did a live version of it. It's good!

I think "Superstition" would be the best Stevie Wonder classic for MJ. So much energy and soul. MJ could do it.

VERY SUPERSTITIOUS!

I also love how MJ redid the instrumental on "Come Together." Who knows what he could do with "Superstition."

Stevie has about ten albums If I'm not mistaken, I'm sure you guys can pick a track that you think Michael can personalise there. Let me know..:)
I'm pretty sure Stevie has more than 10 albums. His 1st record came out in 1962. Anyway I choose:
Race Babbling
Think Of Me As Your Soldier
All Day Sucker
Fun Day
